Food was awful. Service was very average.
Very good restaurant, strategically positioned and always perfect service.
I would recommend for any kind of meal
No complaints! I enjoyed the salad very much. Otherwise service was good and the noise level was reasonable so we could easily converse. Thanks!
Great food and service.
I took my clients there for lunch on April 3, 2019. They sat me down right away, and took good care of me right away. The Young lady who sat me down was very polite. My clients all had great meals, and the service was impeccable. The food was very good, but the highlight was our server, Victoria. She made me feel right at home and was friendly and caring about our experience the whole time. I have been to the Township before, and guaranteed I will return on my next business trip in to Calgary.
Fast service and tasty, but a bit load for lunch meeting conversation
Great ambience and good food!!
Good solid food with very good service.
Nice open area concept. Very loud at lunch! Great beer. Food was good, but not unique. I would go back
Hi Greg, Thank you for the 4 star review! We will be launching a new menu this upcoming month, I invite you back to check it out! Thanks again, Amanda
hair and plastic(?) in the salad. Yuck.
Nice place to have a meal. Food was really good and service excellent. I had the fish and chips and my wife the Cobb salad. The ambiance and the inside of the restaurant is very nice although it was a little bit noisy and the music was a little loud to my opinion. We did like the experience very much. Amanda the General manager came to see us and we had a few words together which was very interesting. They also have private rooms for special group occasion which is nice. We do recommend to try it especially when the patio will open.
We went there for a girls night group dinner, it wasn't busy yet we were put in a dark booth at the very back in a corner by the bar entrance of the space. It took a long time to order food, to the point where we all questioned whether the waitress was coming back, and then food took a very long time to come out- over half an hour and given that the place was quiet and couldn't see anyone else eating not sure why it took quite so long. Figured the food would be good from reviews and for the price we were paying, but it was very average and the Cobb Salad definitely is not worth the $20. Overall everyone was very disappointed with the meal and had to laugh (or else cry) at how expensive the place was. Probably wouldn't go back as there are lots of other places to chose from.
Good spot and food for a group lunch. My group had a nicely laid out table and service was very timely.
My steak came out room temperature. You could tell it was left sitting for quite a while and apparently not under the heat lamps. The time to receive menus, the food, and then the bill were slow; not excessively slow but noticeably slow. The steak being almost cold was the biggest negative. The server was pleasant and professional.
Food was good and so was the service. Unfortunately it took close to an hour to get our food.
The menu is not very interesting, not a lot of options to choose from .
The hostess was rude
Food and service were good. A slight bit noisy for a business lunch.
Good for the most part. Enjoyed the food! Service was a bit slow. We were hoping to sit in the dining area but ended up in the bar section.
The service was not good. The food was ok, soup wasn't very hot, Carbonara was dry, but the steak was very good. Drink were ok but not great (Old Fashioned was fine but have had much better)
Wanted quiet space but dining room was being closed and everyone was pushed to bar.
Good food and good service. Nice menu with good options across a variety of meal types and sizes.
We usually get together at Township for business meetings. Food is generally good except when we dined on Monday, there was only one dessert choice available. It was supposed to be a berry lime crumble but looked and tasted like strawberry jam/compote in a bowl topped with ice cream and a few oats.
It's ok... typical pub food on menu. Food is a little more upscale though, but so are the prices. Reasonable value... loud and energetic environment at lunch. Not recommended for the hard of hearing. Staff treated us well and were attentive.
Very good experience!! Food was yummy and the service was amazing. We would definitely come back!
Need more heaters!
Being so open, it is very loud. Service could be a bit faster.
I am always pleased with my dining experience at the Township24.
Very slow service and the steak was over cooked
Excellent service and food but expensive for lunch. Noise level is also very high but it is a business crowd with lots of energy.
Great choice for a business lunch. Excellent food, and solid friendly service. Good beer selections, and varied food choices.
Do try to make a reservation though, as this place is often completely booked between 1130am - 130pm, with not much room for walk-ins.
Went for lunch. The food took a long time. When it arrived both orders had issues - not being how depicted on menu and not having correct sides. I had lamb burger. It was charred and dry/over cooked. I wouldn’t go back.
Good restaurant. Food is always good. A bit loud. Connected to the plus 15 in Calgary. Great for lunch with work friends.
Abysmal service. It felt as if every meal/drink order given to our Server was a personal insult towards him. A sour attitude from the moment our party walked in, until we paid. Following our meal, some of our party inquired about the desserts on the menu to which our server quickly snapped "We don't have dessert". The only positive I could derive from the entire outing was that he was kind enough to inform our party of 7 (clearly states on the menu "parties of 8 or more") already had the 15% gratuity added to the bill: how courteous.
A little loud for business, but was a good dinner. There had been an error in reservatio, but staff were quick to accommodate.
The service was great and the food good; unfortunately, one of our guests asked for a medium rare steak, but the steak came as blue rare. The restaurant discounted his meal as a form of compensation. Other than this, the lunch was great.
This is the last time I will go to Township. I order the same salad almost every time I go. This time the lettuce was warm and limp. It was cut in big chunks, the blue cheese was missing. It was a mess. And it was an expensive mess.
We had 13 people and a TIGHT timeline to get in and out. The service the food, EVERYTHING was absolutely perfect. We've been before and we will be back!!
We went there for lunch on December 5 and the place was booked solid. Unfortunately, the server was not that great, we had to flag her down a couple of times once for her to take our order, another to ask where our food was and again to pay. The food arrived, brought by another person. My steak sandwich not great as the steak and fries were cold and the baguette hard as a rock. My friend had the tuna burger and said it was “meh”, my other friend had the Superfood salad and seemed to like it. As the food took along time we just ate and left. Normally it has good food and service, must have been an off day or a new server
We liked our waiter but the food took a long time to come, for lunch service was too long.
I never write reviews, but this place had very slow food service over the lunch period - took almost an hour to get our orders and the server was not around much to let us know that the food was delayed. Server finally said it was because they were busy - which leads me to question why don't they plan for high volume in a downtown restaurant??! That's all we got - no manager came by to check or anything and we received a refill on our non-alcoholic drinks after we finished our meal. Won't ever go back there.
