With bar and "dog-friendly" patio seating reserved for walk-in guests, the restaurant has become a favorite for casual impromptu dining as well as for special occasions. Town is located in hip Kaimuki, just minutes from Waikiki, and is loved by locals and visitors alike. Go to Town.
I love this place. The atmosphere is casual and elegant at the same time. The food is exciting and new without being crazy out there and everything is delicious. The gnocchi is especially good. I have been spoiled by Town's gnocchi so I won't order it anywhere else. You'll have to go to Italy to find gnocchi this good. If you can't get in to Town, go across the street to Mud Hen Water or the Suprette, all run by Ed Kenny. Ono!
excellent menu selections, fresh fish with lentils a winner! whatever is in season and available is what they present. can always depend on town to present the tastiest, freshest food around.
Great tasting food and attentive service. Local hangout that is also fit for foodies
Food and service was great! Just wish they would change out the spotlight/track lighting- it’s annoying when you’re sitting under one of those lights pointing at you.
Our dinner was $400 and we were like "it was OK". I had been there once before and thought the same. I didn't realize it was the same place when I booked it. Waitress was great until it got busy. It seemed that the staff had a hard time keeping up with the crowd.
Gnocchi was delicious! Our server was knowledgeable and engaging, and she made great recommendations on wines!
The fries used to be better. They also serve only one type of bread. I liked the other bread they served. No longer have the salad I liked to order. Everything good but this used to one of my favorites. Not so much anymore.
The food at Town was truly farm to table, creative and plentiful. I ordered the bountiful vegetable plate (which is not on the menu but I had heard about it) and it was a sampler of all the vegetable sides served that night with the other entrees. My husband ordered the fish if the day which was a large fillet grilled just until barely done in the center—moist and not overdone at all.
The restaurant is small and intimate but casual. Reservations are a must because of the few number of tables. Our server was very knowledgeable about the dishes and easily handled a few special requests.
We highly recommend it if you value the farm to table concept or just love fresh creative food.
Thank you for making our birthday dinner celebration special and delicious!
Whenever I meet friends for lunch or dinner at Town, I know we will be treated to an inspired meal and impeccable service, with a casual, relaxed vibe.
I love this place. The food is fresh, local, and cooked to perfection. Amazing service! Our server was joyful, helpful, and personable. We will definitely be back!
As always, very accommodating; we brought our small dog (who decided not to act well that night). Asked fo an outdoor table even though it was expected to rain. They opened the retractable awning for us. Service was "spot on." Had drinks and heavy appetizers: the charcuterie plate was very nice.
Never fails to satisfy - thanks to Ed and Dave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All the foods were so good, and the staffs were very nice!!
Was completely blown away by my special vegan meal! The flavor and array of beauty on my plate was so outstanding! I felt so cared for!
My friend (a former kama’aina) was eating at town for the first time!! He really enjoyed his Kuahiwi Burger! Everything was so awesome. Mahalo townies!!
It was delicious.
I want to go again.
Casey is always great to see and she explains the menu so well. Thanks for coming to our table! Cheers
The food was exquisite! We had the chef’s daily offerings with the wine pairing. The service was friendly and warm from all of the staff.
The most important thing to know: arrive early and claim one of only 20 gnocchis that are made fresh each day. The bartender is “top shelf” with reimagined classics in the Pacific Rim style.
Wonderful food! They were even able to accommodate our request to change a meat past dish into a vegetarian one and it was delish!!! My friend said it was even better than the pasta she had in Italy. :)
Wait staff very friendly and immediately brought out water for our dogs.
Can’t wait to go back there again!!!!
Great spot for a date night! Heather took care of us, and was fantastic! We had the 6 course Chef’s special, and it was delicious. I would come back again.
Everything was great!
Dinner was amazing!! Would highly recommend the tasting menu!
The food was excellent, nice portions, great colors and textures. Had a cocktail and it was very good. Take your friends and family!
Ambiance was good. Looks like a trendy young place. The steak was grass fed and lean, so as a result it was really chewy and to me not so flavorful.
Great! Fewer things on lunch menu these days
First table was sort in the middle of traffic and they graciously moved us when asked. We ate at Mud Hen Water (another of Kenny’s restaurants) the night before and it was 5 stars all the way so rating here was comparative. Town is great, just not as great for our taste
We loved the simple yet refreshing lettuce salad, and the gnocchi and chicken for our mains complimented each other well. A well rounded, wholesome meal.
Food was just a bit too salty.
We were a party of 6 so we anticipated some delay in being served. but we had to wait quite a while for our food. The food was not remarkable, especially considering how much it cost. We had to huddle together to hear the person sitting across the table from us. The best feature of the evening was the waitstaff. They were very friendly and gracious.
We went to Town 18 months ago and loved it, but the food really went south. Steak cooked not to order, famous fries too greasy, salad underdressed. Will not be back.
Consistent great food. The ahi appetizer is too good to share!! Guard your plate. Entrees are all amazing. Favorites are the chicken & handcut pasta.
Good and friendly
Great, prompt & friendly service, lunch was great, the burger is excellent, flavorful & fresh. Their salad with fish of the day outstanding! (Free, easy parking behind their building)
Delicious food, great service. Town is always a good choice.
It was a cold & rainy & windy night and we were seated directly in the line of the front doors — every time someone came in or left, we were blasted. Food was so-so, nothing great. Parking is limited and difficult to find.
Love the location. Feels very much dark to table. Clearly a locals spot. Great people watching
Fresh focaccia was awesome
Drinks-Moscow Mule had a strange fishy flavor and the waitress begrudgingly took it back after we asked as she didn’t offer replacement was just ok. Both drinks had a strange flavor
Fries with dipping sauce. Perfect cook and so fresh tasting
Caesar salad outstanding fresh local Ingredients
Pork shoulder. Over cooked and dry. Seasoning was nice but cook was off
Pasta was good. Nice flavors from the chorizo. Noodles a bit dense
Chocolate tarts with pretzel crust. A big miss as the crust was stale and chewy, the chocolate wasn’t firm enough
