Some food was good, others not so good. The Cod was very good. The
Duck "Stroganoff" was lousy. They had run out of the trout that my wife wanted and instead she picked the chicken marsala which was just a roasted half chicken with some sauce on it that was just ok. The Ceasar salad with salmon on it was also ok.
The ambiance was, however, very nice and we had a pleasant evening with friends and we were easily able to conduct our conversations without a lot of background noise.
As usual, Sunday Brunch was good. Bloody Mary's were fixed perfectly, as were the eggs benedict with hollandaise. But service was slow, even though the restaurant was not busy. Strange. Service is normally great. Perhaps we get a new server who just needs some training on being attentive.
Nice night out. Some tables were not in use so there were people around but not full to capacity.
Restaurant setting, atmosphere, and food are great. But service was so slow. It took almost 30 mins until the waitress come to take order our first drink…. And again another half hour till take order for food. When taking our food order, our waitress disappeared to go to another table even our guest is about to tell the order.
It may be unlucky for us to be assigned to her table, but I told at the reception that it was a celebration dinner for our guests. Thinking of a total experience, I should say that it was a poor customer service.
Great service, delicious food and non-rushed atmosphere despite it being a busy Saturday night.
We sat on the front porch and enjoyed the beautiful view, the coy in the fishpond, and the sound of the waterfalls nearby. We had excellent service and delicious food. It could t have been a better experience!
Great food, ambiance, and wait-staff!
We will be back
Food was delicious, wait staff was great, but front desk staff was not super friendly.
The service was slow and the dining room was not crowded. It seemed there were seven tables with a wait staff of three. The food arrived warm at best.
Food was very salty. Two of us commented that our different entrees were very salty -- sausage pasta and salmon
What a delightful way
To celebrate ! Everything was outstanding!
It was a wonderful place to meet, catch up and break break with loved ones. This was our first face to face time together since COVID-19 changed our way of life. We enjoyed our evening, and safety measures were appreciated by the team at the Lodge; great job and thank you. See you on our next visit. Thank you!!!
Delicious meals, attentive service to three adults, two children, one service dog
Good food, slow paced dinner which was perfect for us.
Hard to squeeze six adults into a booth, but otherwise very nice.
I met two good friends for Sunday brunch. We were able to visit easily and enjoyed delicious food and good service, as usual.
Food was a little disappointing, except for dessert.
Service was below average. Don’t need help now. Expectations will be lower next visit.
Nice ambience….Nice decorations … Good service. Good food.
As in every other time I've frequented Clyde's, the food was outstanding and the service was excellent.
In digging deep for ANYTHING to critique, the noise level was a little higher than usual, but I think there was a larger party happening at the same time, and that's really just luck of the draw.
That can also be seen as a good sign coming out of the pandemic, I think.
I'm glad to see business picking back up again.
Awesome fish tacos! The themed decor is a little dark for my taste.
Simply, always a solid choice with a wide menu that's bound to please everyone in your party.
I don't understand why Tower Oaks is not utilizing their tent. Is staffing low? We were lucky this time because we went early enough to get one of the 4 outdoor tables in the front walkway, but if you miss out on those, you are out of luck!
Great food and exceptional service by our preferred person, Cliff.
Perfect evening to entertain friends from Phx. Love this restaurant !!! Only draw back was the noise level in the dining room . Next time I will ask for the smaller dining area in the back!
The Tower Oaks Lodge is a favorite when I visit the area. Usually business meetings and the food and service are awesome. Great value.
My husband and I came to eat. We are watching our weight and we came to share a delicious sandwich with sides! Imani was the best server. She was tentative and very professional. We had our sandwich, salad and of course French fries. Everything was so good. There is outside dining if you so desire. I did catch them spraying the Botha when customers left so I know that they are on top of things. Definitely going back.
Great service and great good
Tower Oaks Lodge has been the go-to place for us for many years now. This last visit was to celebrate the 89th birthday of my best friend. And as always, the food was great, we were able to talk. and service was outstanding. I hope to be able to continue to have great food and service like this at Tower Oaks Lodge for many years to come.
Loved the brunch menu options. We were there on Sunday. The apple fritters were scrumptious. Our entrees were challah French toast and fish tacos, which we both thoroughly enjoyed.
The service and ambiance were excellent. Can’t wait to return.
Very beautiful place to enjoy a quality, delicious meal.
Always a great place to go for any occasion.
Wonderful restaurant, beautiful inside and out. Great staff.
Birthday brunch for our 11 year old. Came for the eggs Benedict with crab, and sadly there is no crab currently on the menu. Still love the place and food- but that was sad.
Nice dinner and service and was able to eat outside!
Delicious food and attentive server
We have been coming to Tower Oaks Lodge for years. We can always depend on great food and outstanding service. We were celebrating a birthday and our waiter could not have been better. When my husband questioned him an the best choices for his meal the waiter was exceptionally helpful.
This was my first in-person dining experience since the pandemic. I reserved an outdoor table and a mid-afternoon time slot thinking it would be less crowded and I’d feel comfortable. When I arrived, I learned you can’t reserve outdoor tables and they were all full. The person at the desk was abrupt and impatient about it. We ended up having to dine inside, and we chose a booth that seemed to be away from others. The service was good, the food was tasty, and all employees were wearing masks. As it got closer to evening, the crowd and noise level increased a lot, and so did my discomfort. We left and talked outside for awhile. All-in-all we had a good time catching up and being waited on after a long time away. Thank you!
