Tower Oaks Lodge Ratings and Reviews
Wonderful dinner for a special birthday. It was noisy until about 7:30pm on this Sunday night, but then calmed down. The waitress "warmed up" but was very busy at first. We loved the food and were very surprised with the complimentary dessert. Was charged twice for wine, but got that taken care of. Was brought a glass of "Cotes de Rhone" with extra pieces of cork or debris on top, but that was taken care of immediately too. Will go back and will recommend. We have other Clyde's nearer to us in NOVA, but we love the ambience of this Tower Oaks one. Thank you!
The food was great, the restaurant is beautiful, the desserts very yummy, the wait service was great...only complaint was that the restaurant piped in top 40s music very loudly which was such a distraction for such a beautiful restaurant. I wondered if it was a mistake but for the two hours we dined there, the music played on. Music would have been fine had it matched the ambiance of the restaurant. I am in my 50's so thought maybe it was just me, but my 24 year old daughter - who works in a bar in NYC - leaned across the table to say, "What's up with the bizarre top-40 tunes? Doesn't go with this restaurant."
I had dinner at the restaurant on the advice of a local. I was flying in from San Diego and didn't know any restaurants but was advised to ask for a certain section of the restaurant. Apparently it was noted and the hostess put us in a perfect seat where the ambiance company and food we're all Superior this is definitely a place to go when you wanted to be treated like a special person
Never disappointed at Tower Oaks. The duck confit salad was so amazing both in presentation and taste that I wish I had ordered 1 or 2 more rather than my entree. And the baked haddock entree was excellent. Lobster pot pie, steak, and pasta dishes equally good. Just love the ambiance having visited the Adirondacks often, sure brings back memories. We always dine here when visiting family in the area. Almost a good thing there isn't one in Atlanta, we would be there all the time!
The manager helped us move from where we were seated in the bar area to a dining room. Much appreciated. The bar area was very very noisy and we couldn’t hear each other. The manager gave us his card. Next time we know to request a dining room —not the room with the bar.
