We know it is no fun to wear a mask while enjoying a night out, but our staff's safety is no laughing matter.
We require all guests to wear a mask while moving about the restaurant, and when speaking to Clyde's employees.
Masks have been a hot topic, with passionate views on all sides. With our team and their families' health at stake, we must err on the side of caution. We hope you will understand and look forward to the day, hopefully soon, when we can all throw our masks in the trash.

Food is always fresh, well cooked and served in a timely manner with servers doing a good job.
However the menu is getting boresome, needs to be refreshed. Add different dishes, and more variety.
Food was delicious. Our server was wonderful as we celebrated the birthday of our 16 year old grandson. He was efficient and friendly contributing to a nice celebration.
The food was delicious and service was excellent! Don't miss out!!!
This restaurant always delivers with good food and excellent service.
The scallops & gnocchi sounds so simple but is amazingly delicious!
Went tp TOL for Happy Hour on Oysters.
The Harpswell Flat Oysters were outstanding!'
We had 3 dozen! Plus Macallan Scotch!
Service was great!
It was great as always. Service was excellent!
Everything about the evening was excellent. My first restaurant outing in more than a year was splendid!
The cod and trout entrees we ordered were delicious, so was the calamari appetizer.
We sat outside of the tent at a table with an umbrella and it was delightful. I have been going to Clyde's for many years. Our server was outstanding and a pleasure to have. The steak salad I ordered as did my guest was delicious. HOWEVER I have preciously ordered salads many times before, and this on was VERY disappointing. My guest and I both commented on how sparse the salad was. It used to take up a whole plate. This one was not only on a smaller plate but barely filled it half way. The salad used to also be served with slices of steak. This salad had chunks which would not have been so bad if there had been at least more salad.
We will return to Tower Oaks again, but at this time would not order the salads which is a shame because it was always a favorite item for us especially for lunch.
Thank you. Barbara Fayne
We ate outside under the tent and it worked out perfectly for the beautiful weather. We had plenty of room between tables and felt very safe. All wait staff wore masks at all times.
Came specifically for a lamb dinner on Easter Sunday. They were out of lamb. The substitute sea bass lacked taste. Was seated in the back near a bar, not good atmosphere. A large group of about 10 young adults were at the bar, not observing social distancing. Probably will not be back again until the restaurant is opened as normal.
We had your fabulous crab cakes, and scallops. I substituted whipped potatoes for French Fries and actually liked the whipped 'taters better! Quality of food remains high, and with the CoVid restrictions its very quiet. Clyde's is definitely a local favorite of ours; love Tower Oaks.
I stumbled upon this restaurant last fall, and enjoyed dining there. The restaurant has the feel of an old hunting lodge, not something current and trendy. The food is pretty good, no one in our party had any complaints about the food (except we would have like more of the potatoes). The service was spotty. There seemed to be ample wait staff for the amount of diners there, but other tables in our area seemed to get more attention than we got from our waiter. It's a bit out of the way for me, so we've decided that it will be a 'special event' or 'holiday' place.
My experience at Tower Oaks was great. My waiter Maurice was very friendly and attentive. The ham dinner tasted fine, with a raisin sauce on top. I had an enjoyable Easter dinner, very quiet and peaceful.
Easter brunch with my 3 teenagers. Are on the patio near the coy pond. Great food and overall experience!
I have always loved this restaurant. The food is excellent and the service was also. It's nicely quiet enough to have a conversation. I also thought the prices to be a good value. We totally enjoyed going out for a meal. It had been too long since we were able to do this.
Great ambiance! Our server although I can’t remember his name, was great! Definitely made the experience that much better!
Had an amazing time.
We had a great time! Thank you!
We used to go on this restaurant because I really like the food, the decoration and service.
Food was great, waiter (Christian) was average, seemed very uncertain about menu options and details. Very slow response time to request.
Great experience. My wife has a broken bone in her foot and has to use a scooter to get around. Staff was very open and willing to do whatever it took to accommodate her. Great service and several instances of going the extra mile.
Making reservations was easy. Parking was also easy this time around. We visited Clydes during the second round of opening up from COVID. I would recommend Clydes to anyone who wants good food in a nice atmosphere.
Our first time out to eat since the pandemic began. It was wonderful to be back at Tower Oaks.
Great outdoor dining
The food is even better than before. Scallops were excellent, crab dip excellent. Coming back.
Great as always! Their oysters are the best!
The ambiance of the Great Room always makes it a special place to dine.
We appreciated the great service extended to us by our waiter, George. As always, the food was exceptional.
We ate outside in the tent - very enjoyable
A perfect day to enjoy outdoor dining at a favorite place. Wonderful staff as always, delicious food as always!
Great service on the patio - food is consistently good
Excellent outdoor seating, nice tent with open sides, waiter was very efficient, personable, and accommodating. Food delicious
Great outdoor seating options and very covid smart
Great food, atmosphere, but experienced some slow service. Staff were very friendly though.
Sitting outside on the porch, with the pleasant sound of a little waterfall and koi swimming in the pool is delightful. And the hamburger was delicious!
Tables were very well spaced and we felt totally safe. That’s the advantage of big venues. The interior decor is creative, warm and in good taste.
In time of the pandemic, Tower Oaks did a fine job. They took very good care of us, and the food was good, not as good as the service, but still tasty.
Especially quiet with Covid restrictions, but have liked this restaurant during normal times.
Food was good, although I am a little judgemental about crabcakes, which is what I ordered. I've ordered Steak Frites at this restaurant before which have been great, but I tried something different. Also Chesapeake Poutin has also been really good, but didn't have that this time. The service was okay, but it was a little long and the waiter seemed a little preoccupied with other tables. He was nice enough, just not as attentive towards us.
