Tower Oaks Lodge
Always a nice dining experience. Food and service is excellent.
Yummy tasty foods
Always a good experience at Towers Oaks Lodge. Braved the virus scare and had a great wedding anniversary dinner. At 50% capacity the Lodge was more intimate. Sorry they will need to shut down for a bit until the virus concerns pass.
With the current health concerns I was impressed with the steps Tower Oaks Lodge has taken to make their restaurant a safer environment than their competitors. The menus were disposable paper and the bill was delivered by hand rather than in the usual leatherette case. The food was very good as was the service.
Large space that accommodate groups, several bars and separate rooms.
Delicious food; great service. We all enjoyed it.
Beautiful dining atmosphere, but so-so service and food.
Had a wonderful birthday dinner thanks to our awesome waiter Cliff. He ensured we were well taken care of. My first visit to the restaurant. Definitely plan to visit again.
We normally enjoy this restaurant, but in this opportunity the food was not superb and expensive.
Beautiful venue unless you don’t like looking at stuffed animals. Normal Clydes fare which is good. Due to virus concerns place was sparsely attended. I would recommend.
Food quality and preparation aren’t as good as they used to be
Service however, is always tops
Great for groups! The ambience is excellent and decor is interesting. I could keep my 5mo entertained through the entire brunch! Clydes is always reliable with table availability.
Had Triple decker club- was very soogy and couldn't eat it.
Celebrating a birthday and the waiter was wonderful!
Food was not good.
The decor of the Lodge is elegant and similar to old English style. Maurice, our waiter was attentive returning frequently to provide service and assess needs; he had excellent customer service and very personable. Food quality and quantity very good. We had two birthdays and each person received their own cake and ice cream with a candle. Lovely atmosphere.
A nice place to go with friends, Moderate noise and nice environment.
Great food and our waiter (Maurice?) was excellent. I always like the cozy atmosphere as well.
Excellent steak. Definitely will get that again. Mussels were humongous and delicious.
I am a frequent patron of this restaurant, but I am probably going to stop going there. We had a horrible time this last visit. I had an elderly friend with me (94) with mobility issues, and when I came through to drop her off, valet service was closed, no problem with that, but they got agitated because I stopped there to drop my friend off. Then on to the service... I had to get up and find my waiter twice! Service only got a little better AFTER most people went home, but even then, it was awful. The food is never great, so bad service and bad food makes me wonder why I even bother to go there.
Consistently excellent as always!
Did not enjoy salmon entree...very disappointed!
We had a reunion of eight old work colleagues. Everything was fantastic!
It is not the first time that we had to double check the price for the wine. When we choose the bottle from he wine list, we got the same brand, but different year of the bottle. If we would not notice that, we would pay higher price for bottle that should cost less.
Please double check your wine list Tower Oaks Lodge!
We have been to Tower Oaks many times and have always been pleased. This time, however, although the food lived up to our expectations, the service was extremely inattentive. Long waits between courses and instead of bringing us dessert menus as requested, the waiter gave us the bill. We paid the bill but left without dessert!
This is a terrific place to take visitors, post-Strathmore show, or anytime! Raw bar is awesome. Caesar salad is truly a classic. Desserts are incredible. Plus the scene, the ambience, is super cool. Wait and service staff is professional.
Eat here if u want to feel like you are in the country even if u are off wooton parkway. Ate their sunday and everything the four of us ate was delicious
Except for the Adriondack lodge theme, there is nothing special about Clydes' Tower Oaks. I used a $100 gift coin to pay for the meal and I left a 21% tip. When I returned home, I received a called from a manager, who claimed that I had only left $10 in cash for the waiter in the folder. Apparently, the waiter was unfamiliar with Clydes' $25, $50, and $100 gift coins. I explained to the manager that I left a $100 gift coin in the payment folder and $10 in cash. I'm still waiting for an apology.
I have dined at this restaurant on many occasions. However, this time was not your best. I was very disappointed in the special. I ordered the haddock. It was very dry. Also, the chef served the ‘tail end’ of the fish which was small and not flaky at all. I was so disappointed. The crab cakes my friend ordered were delicious and prepared perfectly.
Truly enjoyed our dinner and the wonderful atmosphere.
Bizarre that they ran out of bread- very strange.
Clydes was the best. Our server was excellent and so pleasant. The food and everything else was the best.
We have dined at Tower Oak Lodge at least 10 times because we liked the place and the food.
This time however we were not happy at all. The chicken was dry ,the steak in the salad was tough
and the side with the scallops was bland.
Service only thing slightly slow. Server was very sincere and wanted to do a good job, which majes up for a-lot. Love the bar, vibe. The food is consistently good. My hanger steak was cooked perfectly and delicious. My husbands seafood stew was quite tasty. We also had oysters from ME; Clydes never disappoints in selection and quality of oysters.
You can never go wrong with eating out at Clyde’s. I was seven years old in 1978 when my parents took us to the Clyde’s in Columbia, MD, which is where I grew up. Since then I’ve been to 3-4 different locations and have had the same awesome experience at each one. The food, the drinks, the level of service and definitely the ambiance all contribute to the great time I have there, every time. Clyde’s...always a fine choice.
Our server (female, her name may have been Andrea?) wasn't as good as the last two times we were there (when we had a male server, an older gentleman, who was awesome). She was absent for long periods and forgot a couple of things.
The food was great (market salads for three of us; and baked Maine cod for two of us, with seafood stew and salmon for two others), we liked our table and the dessert (key lime pie) was really good.
Very good food and ambience.
