Tower Oaks Lodge
The atmosphere and decor was delightful, the food was good the server was great.
Such good food, excellent service and a great setting.
Made reservation for 5 and requested not to be sat at booth because my father-in-law has difficulties getting in and out of them. However, when we arrived, we were took they could only sit us at a booth. The hostess tried to tell me they take reservations a month in advance and can’t guarantee type of table and so forth. However, they never bothered to call us and tell us they couldn’t provide us with a table before we arrived. They wanted to put my step-father and high chair at the end of a booth. Because my daughters were hungry, we decided to stay. My 17 month old, I sat her in booster seat in the booth next to me. However, made my dining experience terrible from trying to keep her seated the whole time I ate. Also hated the fact that they were only serving Brunch. I know some people like brunch but it’s not for everyone during lunch hours on the weekends. Luckily our waiter was able to get the cook to make us a few steaks and the food was good. However, the seating arrangement was very poorly managed and this is the second time I’ve made reservations there and both times got stuck on an inappropriate table for our party. Haft of the experience is the relaxing and comfort, but they don’t care.
As always, a dining experience you can depend on to be good.
Perfect spot to catch up with a dear friend and not be rushed.
Great place for happy hour
The service and food isnt as good as it used to be and the menu prices are higher. However, we do enjoy the happy hour specials.
I suggested this restaurant for our business dinner and ended up being extremely embarrassed because the service was so poor. Among other things, the appetizers arrived before the drinks and steaks were served without steak knives. We had to ask other staff several times to help us find our waiter. It wasn't like he was in the dining room taking care of other customers --he was just missing. The food was great, so it's a shame they can't get quality servers.
Wonderful birthday dinner with a dear friend. Great service and great food!
It was a really busy night. Everyone tried really hard, but it seemed like there were too many customers and not enough people to help. We weren’t able to get refills on drinks, ketchup for fries, the kitchen ran out of bread, etc. our bill was wrong three times. It was finally fixed, but definitely not what we usually experience at Tower Oaks. Whole evening took two hours for one course. Food was great as usual, but definitely out of sorts tonight.
The salad was unacceptable; should have been sent back. This is the second time there has been a problem with green salad. The salmon was fine as usual both times. However, the quality of the salad was inferior. I will not order this dish again.
We had a seat by the fire place. The food tasted great and the servers were kind and polite. We had a great experience.
We had a reservation hut changed the number at the last minute and it wasn’t a problem. Overall it was a really nice visit!
We always enjoy going to Tower Oaks. However, this time the bar and restaurant were a little off their game. We had a drink at the bar but when it came time to go to our table, we couldn't get the bartender's attention to pay the bill - for 15 minutes! We ended up telling our waitress and she was able to get it for us.
Also - that night they actually ran out of bread as well as some entrees. That seemed strange to us for a Saturday night.
Out waitress was very gracious and did a nice job, though.
At our arrival the host was talking to another co-worker and when I greeted them, they did not stop talking to acknowledge we were there. Our table was in a place that we thought it was awkward since we had 2 kids (8 and 10) with us. We asked if they have another place, big mistake! They took us to literally the last window on another area of the restaurant and it was freezing cold. I don’t even want to talk about the server. We waited 45 minutes for pizza and mac and cheese for the kids. I do not know if we are coming back. We used to go very often, but not anymore.
We had a reservation for a party of 5...they placed at the bar area...too noisy.
They shared their blender broke....we have 5 adults WANTING daiquiri's which obviously would have meant MUCH more business for Tower Oaks...just simply stunned to hear that a restaurant that can serve 200 people at a time with multiple bars has ONE BLENDER. Secondly, when ordering the crab and artichoke dip....and asking for a purchase of more bread...were told that they were OUT OF BREAD.
Quite simply....spending $500 for a meal for a place that you can't get drinks and runs out of bread as a "Clydes" establishment does not bode well for repeat business for ANYONE! I own a large IT company with just under 100 employees and I stress to each employee "customer service is key and most important"....that unfortunately is lacking from what I shared above. I will be sure to share my experiences with others.
Always a pleasant experience at Tower Oaks Lodge. Regular destination for special occasions or just a ight out.
It wasn’t the best. My food came out burnt and I asked for another drink and never got it.
I was so glad we arrived about a half hour before a great number of guests arrived so our order got in before theirs. The ambiance is wonderful in all the dining rooms but the place gets very loud once it starts filling up. Enjoyed a bagel and lox while my friend had a nice burger. He was disappointed that it wasn’t done quite to his liking but also didn’t bother to send it back. The Lodge is always reliable and timely so no real complaints. The koi pond is always fun too.
Great food, very nice setting! Service was perfect! Overall great experience!
We come to Tower Oaks Lodge for all special occasions. The experience is always great. Food is excellent and the service is on point. I also love the lodge look and feel.
Awesome as usual. Food and service are always on point. Love the crab stack!
Great decor, ambiance, and the customer service is wonderful. Would recommend to anyone.
Very nice and food was amazing
Got seated quickly with my reservation & had complimentary valet parking. Our table was in a good location & out of the way of people. Nice Sized Booths. The food was amazing (a bit pricey but good for a special occasion). Food came fast & the waiter was prompt & helpful! Decorations were rustic and cute!
Paid for a $35 steak that looked like something you would get from the golden coral. The crab cakes where small. There was no value what so ever for the cost of paying over $100 for a meal that was not high quality at all. I will never go back there again!! Not the Valentines Dinner to remember!
The food was really good and everyone was very friendly. We loved the room we were in, behind the back bar, and the violinist was fantastic! We had a great time!
For being Valentines day and being soo busy it was very organized.
Ive been a long time patron, 20 years. Was seated in bar area for valentines day with my wife and my 80 year old aunt. Very improper to seat us at a bar. seafood soup had to be sent back, all our meals were extremely salty. wing appetizer was fried so hard i could not eat it. Evidently chefs have changed. Will not be back until I see better reviews from other patrons.
Very friendly waitress. Efficient and funny.
Didn’t wait too long for food.
Salmon salad was vey good. My medium rare salmon was perfect! Service was excellent.
Great food and attentive service
Wonderful dinner and experience!
We have been many times. This time the food a little more basic. Nothing really wrong. Just under expectations for the price point.
The food was healthy, well prepared, and very tasty. The portions were ample and the server was attentive and discrete.
Overall the group had an outstanding time and enjoyed the atmosphere.
Tower Oaks Lodge is nothing but reliable. Food is always well prepared and presented nicely in portion sizes that will satisfy. Service is on point with just the right amount of visits from smiling friendly servers. It was a quiet Monday night when we visited so the sound ambiance was quiet. Not always the case on busier evenings.
Dinner on a Sunday evening. Made a reservation 1 hour in advance and was very happy to had done so because the place was full of families and couples enjoying the end of the weekend. Might have had to wait if not for that reservation:)
Food was delicious. Our waitress was a little too snappy but that is okay and would not prevent us returning for another pleasant evening.
