Tower Oaks Lodge
Waitress was great!
We had a problem with the check duplicated coast in the credit card
When I checked in and gave my reservation name to the Hostess, she just said "go down and turn left". Since this was the second time I ate at Clyde's Tower Oaks, I turned left into the bar and could not find my dinner partner. So I went back to her, she said the same thing "go down and turn left". I told her why don't you show me where. I was really annoyed. Then I realized, I need to walk pass the bar entrance and go to another dinning room. There were at least 2 other hostesses and no line waiting!! Hope she is better trained. Thank you.
Excellent food at very good value-
Overall, we had a great meal. There seemed to be some confusion about the type of salad one of our party members ordered (market, not garden), but it was sorted out.
Cons: We never got an offer for refills on our drinks, we had to ask for dessert menus and our server wasn't always easy to find.
Pros: We were seated immediately, the food was great, the drinks tasted fabulous and we really liked our table.
Always my go to place with family and friends. At times the noise can get loud but not so much in the back room. Great place, service and food. Thank you for serving the area.
Great food and service.
Had a greet St. Pat's there.
It is a great place to go with a group. Menu is varied for every palate.
I enjoyed the St. Patrick's day menu, especially the donuts.
Everything was great!
The next time I will be sure to request a booth. We were at one of the tables and the noise level made it impossible for us to have a pleasant conversation
We usually go to Tower Oaks Lodge for special occasion. This time was for our anniversary which I had specified when I made the reservation on Open Table. As a result we were graciously offered our dessert!
The food was really good and our server very nice and helpful.
I usually go to Clydes once or twice a year. Very consistent with service, food and drink..Enjoy the bar more than anything else.
Setting, service, food all quite excellent. I like the hunting lodge atmosphere. Our server was handsome, friendly and efficient. Reservation was honored as was changing to a different room preferred by one of the diners. Considering the value, the prices are more than reasonable.
From time to time seemed that my sever dropped the ball, coffe maker was not working, brought a burger with pickle when we said no pickle, at one point we thought he was gone home for the day. Although I have to say he was a gentleman.
Excellent ambiance & decor, congenial personnel, varied menu priced fairly and our waitress very knowledgeable about the menu items. All in all a pleasant dining experience
Our reservation was requested in the bar area and we were seated at the edge of the bar in the back room. Our waiter took the time and patience to accommodate all of our guests in our party. He was patient and hospitable. We enjoyed our experience and the food. We will return.
Reliable food. Interesting atmosphere. Good service
Parking is terrible. They offer valet service but we haven’t had good experiences with valet services in general so parking in their lot very limited.
Tower Oaks remains the same outstanding restaurant--for the past 12 years--I have been enjoying! Keep it up!
Food and drinks were fair. Service perfection.
Tower Oaks Lodge is the Clydes Group's largest restaurant. The elaborately produced ambience of an Adirondack is charming. The service is highly competent, and the food is consistent and good. It's not a hipster evening, but it is the perfect place for a large, multi-generational gathering.
My grilled salmon salad with black beluga lentils was delicious.
Most of our food was very good. Appetizers: calamari, boom boom shrimp, hummus. Main: crab cakes, chick pea curry, salmon
except the TUSCAN WHITE BEAN CAMPANELLE which was pretty bland
Everything was at the five star level.
It's just OK. Too loud. Older. Needs some updating.
Fair. Service was good but a bit over the top
Service was outstanding, all personnel very professional and friendly.
Been a while since my last visit. Has always been a favorite of mine. But something was different this time. Change of management? Service was not as attentive as before. Restaurant officially opens at 11:00 am on Sat. Arrived at 10:45 am for 11:00 reservation. Expected to wait inside for other guests to join us, but doors stayed firmly locked until 11:00 am. Doors always opened earlier on my previous visits. It was so cold outside that we had to wait in car until 11:00 am. Table service inside was slow and inattentive. Waiter refilled my coffee only once. Disappointed.
Always consistent food, service. A reliable choice for an important family occasion
One of my favorite spots! The food is consistently good and the service is always pleasant.
Lovely setting and excellent food. The service is always superb - friendly yet not intrusive.
We were treated like royalty and were just regular folks who came in with a dinner reservation for two. Manager came to see how we were doing, food was served promptly because we’d indicated we needed to leave by a certain time. Food is reasonably priced, nicely plated and very tasty. As a vegetarian, I’m not thrilled with lots of animal heads as decor but even so, this place is just gorgeous. Can’t wait to go back.
I ordered squash as side vegetable but it was not cooked well and some of them were raw and hard to chew the service was good but the meal was mediocre.
Love this place. My friends had crabcakes and grilled chicken salad. I had a ceasar with salmon, which was cooked perfectly. However the salad lacked cheese and the dressing was bland.
Lunch with family from out of town. Their first time! They loved it! Ambience, food and service all great! A lovely setting! This is my “go to” place for a casual but elegant lunch, or Sunday brunch.
Always a relaxing time - whether as a couple or family or with friends.
Another awesome experience at Tower Oaks! The ambiance alone is outstanding. And our service and food experience was perfect. What a great date night dinner with my husband!
Good service, Chesapeake Benedict was okay. Hollandaise could have been more flavorful...maybe more lemon. Comfy and intimate booth which was great for catching up with friends.
Incredible food, endearing décor, attentive service, makes you feel very special.
I love tower oaks lodge. Great atmosphere, great food great everything.
Interior environment very
The main complaint is a greeter at the front desk. Very rude. I complained about her before. Lost 2 previous reservations. Put my party at the end of the wait list with no apologies.
She is black heavy set woman.
I now make my reservations online
