Tower Oaks Lodge
Not happy they took the good stuff off the menu
Great deals on Monday combined with Happy hour specials.
My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and the experience at Tower Oaks Lodge was amazing! From the moment we walked in, the customer service displayed by the staff was outstanding! They all greeted us with a smile, and everything we ordered was timely and well prepared. We could not have asked for anything more!
I was meeting with a friend I hadn't seen in 20+ years for brunch and our server was very considerate and understanding of our circumstances. We heartily enjoyed the lodge and our food. Great experience. Will revisit.
You can't beat a lunch (or dinner) at Tower Oaks Lodge. Food is amazing -- good options for all, had fresh strawberries and ice cream (ask for it, not on the menu!) it was delicious. Good with any age, Family and Friends.
My only complaint was the less then professional Hostess who berated me in front of my family for not telling her at the Hostess stand that we had one less person. She rudely grabbed the extra dishes and made a comment about having only one child instead of three. I did not put on my reservation that we had children coming.
On the Waiter and other staff were wonderful!!
We love Clyde's Tower Oaks location. The food is good, the servers are wonderful, but I don't like their menu as much as I did a few years ago. I wish there were more regular entrees on the brunch menu that included both meat and vegetables. I don't eat high carb meals, so I can't order most of the breakfast items.
Service was a bit slow, despite being there at opening. Omelet was mediocre. Coffee cake was excellent as were the potatoes.
Our server was not very good. She barely came by our table and would disappear for long periods of time.
Soft shell crabs left a lot to be desired - very small on only one.
The food was great, amazing architecture and ambiance. Would love to come again!
The decor is getting somewhat tired at Tower Oaks. The food, however, is still reliably good. It is my go-to place for oysters.
Great brunch on a Saturday and even better service. Totally enjoyed our visit.
This restaurant (my second visit) promises more than it delivers. The ambiance is noteworthy and impressive but the food is only fair. The main problem was the service which was inattentive at best.
Service by Cliff was terrific. Scallops and soft shell crabs were mediocre. Crab cake was best dish. Really enjoyed the strawberry biscuit shortcake.
Went for Soft-shell crabs - delicious. Service was great; timely, friendly, courteous.
Very good service. Took advantage of the half price shell fish special. Delicious.
Took an out of town business associate to lunch at Tower Oaks. He ordered a single crab cake, but when delivered there were two. My husband ordered the beef tenderloin medallions medium rare. They were medium well. I ordered the Maryland scallop special and was surprised to see the dish had only four scallops and a small amount of chopped asparagus. Four scallops for $25! Really?! I ended up sharing my husband's fries since my entree was so small. We have always had great food and service at Tower Oaks and I hope this was a single exception and not the new norm. We each ordered dessert and they were all delicious. We will go back and give them another try.
Very loud environment. Food was prepared incorrectly. Was served a substitute drink without being asked because they did not have what I requested. Overpriced. Rude manager stood right in front of our table to give direction to a waiter.
Waiter/waitress should give option of salted/no-salt butter.
Tower Oaks is always an enjoyable time. Everything went smoothly. Our waitress was great.
Table for 8 was set up so we could all talk and hear each other.
Lots of good beer and wine, and cocktail choices to satisfy everyone. Appetizers and Starter dishes were delish, followed by a sumptuous meal.
Well done, again!
Tower Oaks served as a great venue for a pleasant evening with friends and co-worker.
The service went above and beyond to help my daughter avoid an embarrassing situation. Appreciate it!
Our second great experience. Really good food, atmosphere and service!
Enjoyed our meals.
Great service and very good food for acceptable price.
Wonderful decorations and ambiance. Very good revise. Food ok.
As always good food, good service, easy to make reservations.
Michael is an excellent waiter!!
This is the perfect spot for a family brunch. There’s something for everyone on the menu: traditional brunch fare, elegant dishes, fresh healthy choices, and a sumptuous raw bar (a great deal on weekends). Bonus: playing “I Spy” with the interesting decor is one of my four-year-old’s favorite games!
Great restaurant—— food services, and the environment all fabulous! Love it!
We had a wonderful server, Mikayla. Food was great. I always enjoy going to Tower Oaks.
The service was excellent. Our complement to our server. I do not remember hiis name. But, he was excellent. Please thank him on our behalf.
Everything was OK ----------------------------------------------
We were very surprised at the slow service in spite of the restaurant not being very busy
Great food, great atmosphere. Loved it. The Margarita special was surprisingly good!
Service was not as good as it always has been. Quite slow. Maybe because a Sunday?
Excellent food and service as usual.
The hostess did not seat us by a window as requested but seated us at what appeared to be the only booth in the room against the outside wall lacking a window. When I asked to seat us at the adjacent booth she declined and said it was reserved. There was no sign indicating such on the booth or the other empty window booths in the room. The booth I requested remained unoccupied for more than a half hour after we were seated and the dining room was not crowded when we showed up to honor our reservation. That was a bad start but our server was excellent. He was attentive without being pesky and got all the orders right and promptly. Food was ok except for the lamb which was tough.
