Great food, very nice and gentle servers, great atmosphere.
Food was salty ... only lamb legs and grilled pineapples were good, salad bar sucks
Our first time to restaurant. Food was all very good especially the bbq'd pineapple! It is a must try. Service was great by all the staff and you did not feel rushed.
Absolutely amazing service and amazing food. Would definitely recommend to people who love meat and steak.
Amazing place, good for having a nice gathering, for couples and the taste is so delicious, congrats!
Good food, drinks and service. To rate 5* I suggest adding Sweets for same price, either one per customer or a small buffet. Note I am not a sweet lover!
Ambience: Light coming tru the door was getting into our eyes and was bothersome. Try using some fancy blinds or decoration to block sun rays.
Value for the money could be better, competition in Toronto is tough and do not feel like returning to this place.
The cuts of meat were not of the quality I have experienced at other Brazilian restaurants. The meat often had a lot of fat and gristle (the pork was tough, stringy, and mostly inedible) and even the chicken was fatty. Beef was fairly tough considering how small the pieces are. The pork ribs were tasty. The hot selection in the buffet selection was far more limited than other similar restaurants I've visited. The mushroom soup was tasty, but a little watery. I was pleased to see that pineapple was on them menu.
It was good!
The server Nikita was absolutely outstanding! Fun and welcoming and never made us feel like we were a bother. Very attentive, which was probably difficult with a group of 10 visiting for a bday, among having other tables to attend to. The food was great, excellent salad bar selection, and the sauces were delicious! Thanks for a great night!
We`re Brazilians from Sao Paulo and this is, by far and large, the best and most authentic Brazilian Churrascaria in the GTA. And, yes, we`ve been to the others.
We arrived early for our Sunday brunch reservations, the hostess were friendly and we were seated quickly. The restaurant is big and decorated very nicely. We were seated in a dark corner so it was hard to see things in front of us. Our server also greeted us quickly and explained the dining experience. Now for the food: Not a huge selection of meat for lunch but it was enough. Meat temperature was good and portion sizes were big, but it was cooked more like medium-well then medium. I found the meat lacked seasoning and flavoured. Just my luck, they were not serving any chimichuri sauce or cheese bread for lunch, big disappointment. The food service significantly slows down when restaurants is full and long lineups at the buffet. They took away our dirty plates periodically which was nice but didn’t consistently bring us fresh plates. Overall, this was not our favourite place for AYCE Brazilian and not the best tasting either.
It was my first visit to Touro and certainly won't be my last. Wonderful ambience, delicious food and fabulous service(Halia(sp)) our main server was a delight!
Touro is our favorite local restaurant . Rob and his staff run a fantastic restaurant that never disappoints ! Food is great every time and we look forward to our next visit very soon ! 5 star experience each and every time !
Shrimp was on the salty side ... moderate the salt perhaps ... not much of seafood ... no way to identify if we are having mahi mahi as we were told as there was only one fish dish; the other was mussels ... the pinesapple with cinnamon sugar is always a big delight
I love this restaurant, the beef is the best. I will be dinning here about once a month from now on.
The Food is Fantastic, Wish the server came over more as we were running Low on water and she was just standing on the side but other than that the Meat servers were amazing and always came by with the meats we liked.
Unfortunately, I forgot the name of our server but I'd like to commend her. She is so pleasing and attentive and made our experience enjoyable. She also acknowledged, probably based on my reservation, that we are celebrating a birthday and made it somehow more special with the delicious slice of chocolate cake. I hope they make lunch on Saturdays also.
I will definitely come back for brunch with family.
I have been here a few times with my husband on date nights and for Sunday brunch. And with my family and friends for get togethers and birthday celebrations. I enjoy the ambience. The service is good. And of course the meat. I don't really eat from the buffet section but my husband loves the brunch and lunch dinner selections. Definitely recommend for casual dining, celebrations, date night, business functions and brunch dates. Make sure to me a reservation to me it easier. Summer time you can enjoy it all on the patios. Pricey but we'll worth it as the meet is good quality. Drinks and desserts are not included in the price. But they provided water and the buffet if you like more than just the meat. The parmesan steak, garlic steak, chicken wrapped in bacon and picahna. My husband loves the pineapple too. If you ask your server they will have the rodizio servers come by with you favourites more often. Try it once if you are meat fan!
Salad bar had a lot of options. Meat was very tasty. The only thing I was disappointed with was a plate charge for them to cut the birthday cake of $2.00/person. After spending $500 (as we were 10 people) that should have been waived.
The food was amazing and the restaurant itself is beautiful. Our server however didn't smile once, didn't check on us for over 30 minutes and just had an overall bad attitude. I will still return as I love this spot, but I was very disappointed with the service.
We loved it. The staff were very attentive and tried very hard to please. It was our husbands birthday and they even brought cake out. It was a very fun evening❤️❤️❤️❤️
It was really good went for dinner. But we didn’t get 3 cuts which really sucked.
Amazing Service. Our server shyanne (pardon me if I spelt that wrong) was amazing, cool and patient guy. The food was deliciousssssssssssssss.
We walked in with a reservation and despite tons of empty tables we were crammed in with the only other two families there. We asked to move and they said no - I guess it was easier for the Gauchos if everyone was together. As for the food the salad buffet was good although somewhat small and the meat was very rare. When I asked for something more well done I was told all their steaks were rare or medium rare. They did later bring more well done although clearly they just seared one of the skewers on a grill so it was a bit rubbery. The chicken was pretty good and the pineapple was excellent. I didn't have the lamb but my family did and didn'like it. They said it was stringy and believed it was mutton. Lastly the price was high (close to $300 for 4 people after tax) but that's common for Brazilian Steakhouses. When I'm in Niagara I go to Brasa all the time. I wouldn't be in too big a hurry to go back to Touro, however.
The food was fresh, the meat was prepared perfectly! The variety of meats and authentic Brazilian dishes is fenomenal. Service is outstanding, fast and friendly. I especially loved the fresh spread of different breads, like parmesan bites and warm garlic and cheese breads. Since it's a all you can eat buffet, it a great place to try different types of meats for a reasonable price, from beef, chicken, lamb and pork to beautiful grilled cinnamon pineapple. I would highly recommend it for many occasions.
I would have gave 5 stars, but I feel like due to the fact that we were sitting in a nook beside the bar, the mencarrying the meat forgot about us. I had to hound them down for a few types of meat. There was supposed to be 14 cuts but we saw maybe 8 of them. Next time if I get placed there, I will ask to be moved.
Delicious food, great customer service.
Wines and desserts all the best
Went here for Valentine’s Day dinner with my husband..
The host was gracious enough to sit us where I wanted to sit, instead of the original seating way to the back of the wall under the red lights. I was happy about that.
Our server, I think Samantha, was her name, was very attentive and prompt.
The food was very tasty and ambiance was great as per usual.
This is my second time here.
Would enjoy coming back!
Went on Valentine’s Day. They charged weekend prices. Meat was pretty constantly coming to our tables and we enjoyed all of the meats offered though I personally prefer steaks medium rare. The staff was friendly and checked up on us quite frequently but failed to provide us with a wine list until we asked for it. Appetizer station was always well stocked with lots of variety.
Fantastic place for a special occasion. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Food was really good. Definitely worth going there at least once.
This time wi did not get meat cards till I asked twice. Water was brought after third attempt.
Previous time it was not an issue
Restaurant is okay - a less than your typical Brazilian restaurant. Food was average. I’m not at all impressed with the hot/cold food selection. I think Brasa in Niagara has a fantastic selection of hot and cold foods buffet - far more superior than this place. I understand that there is a 2 hour limit, however, I believe that this can be stretched if the restaurant is full of empty tables. We were basically hurried to leave after 2 hours even if we’re still drinking coffee. This is poor customer service in my opinion.
OUR SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT OUR SERVER WAS GREAT SHE WAS ALWAYS COMING AND CHECKING IF WE NEEDED ANYTHING
BUT THE MEAT SETVERS WERE NOT COMMING AROUND WE HAD TO TELL OUR SERVER THAT THE CHICKEN , ribs, and Steak had no come
The fish was very bland
Server is too slow to clean the dishes and refill drinks
Everything was exceptional and fabulous with this place and great service. The only negative we had was when they brought out the dancers, which only come out once a month on a Saturday. The music was far to loud for those 30 mins while the dancers where out, we honestly couldn’t even talk to one another. Even our server had to yell just to say something, the family next to us where saying the same thing (that was to loud). Other then that your restaurant was amazing, and our party enjoyed everything.
Excellent experience. Went on a weeknight and meat came by our table every few minutes, and it was fantastic every time.
We had a great time Saturday night !! With “Big” appetites and picky eaters ... and a BIG family -there was something for everyone and this mom ... just relaxed, ate and enjoyed the rest of the evening! The servers were amazing and the guys enjoyed the dinner selections that just kept coming and even the corn bread was a hit ! See you next month 🎁 for another family celebration 🎉.
Really enjoyed this place. Delicious meat and roasted pineapple to finish things off.
We contacted Touro in advance of our reservation for my husband's birthday dinner. We needed to ensure that my needs could be met as I walk with a cane & needed a space close to Appetizer Island, not wedged into another table. Kelsey Bevilaqua contacted me directly to ensure she addressed all of my concerns & they were. I only wish she had mentioned we could bring our own Birthday Cake. We arrived about 25 minutes ahead of our reservation and parking was no where to be found. The locale cannot accommodate the many restaurants on the property. It took 20 minutes of circling the parking lot to find a spot quite a distance away. This was a huge inconvenience and frustrating. When we finally arrived inside the restaurant we were greeted pleasantly and seated promptly. The table was perfect and allowed easy access to washrooms and Appetizer Island. The appetizer island would be served better were there someone to direct traffic, prevent cutting in line and keep the flow of the traffic moving. Also, the more popular items, were not replenished often enough for a Saturday evening, full house, crowd. The few complaints we did have were the number of babies and children in attendance. I am not against children in dining establishments, strollers, diaper bags, and unruly behaviour are not appreciated. Thankfully, for the most part, the children were behaved, but as the night went on their resistance diminished. We left a bit early because even though the noise level in the restaurant is tolerable, by the time 9 p.m. rolled around these kids needed to be in bed, and it was no longer tolerable. When you save for some time for a special occasion you really don't want to be exposed to whiny toddlers and crying infants. When that happened that was our cue to leave. Our waiter, Nigel, was outstanding. His quick wit and bright smile made the evening. Gauchos could be more vocal & know more about their meats. Overall we give the experience 4/5 stars and will return.
