The food was fresh, the meat was prepared perfectly! The variety of meats and authentic Brazilian dishes is fenomenal. Service is outstanding, fast and friendly. I especially loved the fresh spread of different breads, like parmesan bites and warm garlic and cheese breads. Since it's a all you can eat buffet, it a great place to try different types of meats for a reasonable price, from beef, chicken, lamb and pork to beautiful grilled cinnamon pineapple. I would highly recommend it for many occasions.
I would have gave 5 stars, but I feel like due to the fact that we were sitting in a nook beside the bar, the mencarrying the meat forgot about us. I had to hound them down for a few types of meat. There was supposed to be 14 cuts but we saw maybe 8 of them. Next time if I get placed there, I will ask to be moved.
Delicious food, great customer service.
Wines and desserts all the best
Went here for Valentine’s Day dinner with my husband..
The host was gracious enough to sit us where I wanted to sit, instead of the original seating way to the back of the wall under the red lights. I was happy about that.
Our server, I think Samantha, was her name, was very attentive and prompt.
The food was very tasty and ambiance was great as per usual.
This is my second time here.
Would enjoy coming back!
Went on Valentine’s Day. They charged weekend prices. Meat was pretty constantly coming to our tables and we enjoyed all of the meats offered though I personally prefer steaks medium rare. The staff was friendly and checked up on us quite frequently but failed to provide us with a wine list until we asked for it. Appetizer station was always well stocked with lots of variety.
Fantastic place for a special occasion. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Food was really good. Definitely worth going there at least once.
This time wi did not get meat cards till I asked twice. Water was brought after third attempt.
Previous time it was not an issue
Restaurant is okay - a less than your typical Brazilian restaurant. Food was average. I’m not at all impressed with the hot/cold food selection. I think Brasa in Niagara has a fantastic selection of hot and cold foods buffet - far more superior than this place. I understand that there is a 2 hour limit, however, I believe that this can be stretched if the restaurant is full of empty tables. We were basically hurried to leave after 2 hours even if we’re still drinking coffee. This is poor customer service in my opinion.
OUR SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT OUR SERVER WAS GREAT SHE WAS ALWAYS COMING AND CHECKING IF WE NEEDED ANYTHING
BUT THE MEAT SETVERS WERE NOT COMMING AROUND WE HAD TO TELL OUR SERVER THAT THE CHICKEN , ribs, and Steak had no come
The fish was very bland
Server is too slow to clean the dishes and refill drinks
Everything was exceptional and fabulous with this place and great service. The only negative we had was when they brought out the dancers, which only come out once a month on a Saturday. The music was far to loud for those 30 mins while the dancers where out, we honestly couldn’t even talk to one another. Even our server had to yell just to say something, the family next to us where saying the same thing (that was to loud). Other then that your restaurant was amazing, and our party enjoyed everything.
Excellent experience. Went on a weeknight and meat came by our table every few minutes, and it was fantastic every time.
We had a great time Saturday night !! With “Big” appetites and picky eaters ... and a BIG family -there was something for everyone and this mom ... just relaxed, ate and enjoyed the rest of the evening! The servers were amazing and the guys enjoyed the dinner selections that just kept coming and even the corn bread was a hit ! See you next month 🎁 for another family celebration 🎉.
Really enjoyed this place. Delicious meat and roasted pineapple to finish things off.
We contacted Touro in advance of our reservation for my husband's birthday dinner. We needed to ensure that my needs could be met as I walk with a cane & needed a space close to Appetizer Island, not wedged into another table. Kelsey Bevilaqua contacted me directly to ensure she addressed all of my concerns & they were. I only wish she had mentioned we could bring our own Birthday Cake. We arrived about 25 minutes ahead of our reservation and parking was no where to be found. The locale cannot accommodate the many restaurants on the property. It took 20 minutes of circling the parking lot to find a spot quite a distance away. This was a huge inconvenience and frustrating. When we finally arrived inside the restaurant we were greeted pleasantly and seated promptly. The table was perfect and allowed easy access to washrooms and Appetizer Island. The appetizer island would be served better were there someone to direct traffic, prevent cutting in line and keep the flow of the traffic moving. Also, the more popular items, were not replenished often enough for a Saturday evening, full house, crowd. The few complaints we did have were the number of babies and children in attendance. I am not against children in dining establishments, strollers, diaper bags, and unruly behaviour are not appreciated. Thankfully, for the most part, the children were behaved, but as the night went on their resistance diminished. We left a bit early because even though the noise level in the restaurant is tolerable, by the time 9 p.m. rolled around these kids needed to be in bed, and it was no longer tolerable. When you save for some time for a special occasion you really don't want to be exposed to whiny toddlers and crying infants. When that happened that was our cue to leave. Our waiter, Nigel, was outstanding. His quick wit and bright smile made the evening. Gauchos could be more vocal & know more about their meats. Overall we give the experience 4/5 stars and will return.
On a rare day off work my wife and I went for the weekday lunch. For $27 each we had 8 different cuts of meat to choose from. Our waitress was great, our plates were never empty and the meat was incredible.
Days later I was still thinking about how delicious the food was and since it was my birthday we decided to splurge and pay the $50 each for the weekend dinner. We were told a number of times that we had 2 hours to eat. Since our lunch took under an hour and a half I didn't see that as a problem but that was just the beginning of what was going to turn into a disappointing and expensive experience.
There was only a few tables set up for 2 people and they were all located in the worst locations of the restaurant. I refused the first table we were offered as it was right beside the kitchen entrance. The next offering wasn't much better but the snotty and unpleasant girls at the front desk were showing their obvious displeasure, and we decided just to sit where they placed us. Note to owners....Lose the teenage divas at the front desk.
When the first meat server finally got to our table it was with pineapple, then it was chicken wings, then pork and then more chicken. We asked our waiter if someone with beef could come to our table. By the time we had our first bite of beef a half hour had passed. At least half the meat on the menu was never seen and we continually had to ask our waiter to get us someone who was carving beef.
Would we return? For lunch, absolutely. For dinner, not a chance. $75 for a fabulous lunch or $135 for a middle of the road dinner? Dinner service was slow, the seating was awful, the cheap meats were pushed and the beef was mostly overcooked and full of inedible gristle. Also, since we live in a first world country with perfectly acceptable tap water don't ask if we want overpriced still or sparkling water and don't then serve us room temperature tap water.
Five stars for lunch. Two stars for dinner!!!
Food was good and came regularly. One major complaint I have is that the waitress I had was very rude and gave me attitude throughout my entire stay. Mood and experience was ruined due to her attitude. Would advice this restaurant to hire a waitress with more experience.
A bit pricy but ... Good food, pleasant atmosphere and great service.
MY ABSOLUTE FAV RESTAURANT. ALL YOU CAN EAT, PERFECT FOR A PREGNANT WOMAN LIKE MYSELF. I ASKED FOR THE MEAT TO BE WELL DONE (BECAUSE OF MY PREGNANCY) AND THEY DID A GREAT JOB AT LISTENING TO MY REQUEST. THE MEATS WAS WELL SEASONED AND THE SIDES WERE GREAT.
The meats had a lot of fat on them. To fatty
They should be sliced thinly and served to customers not big chunks of meat given to customers.
Copacabana is better
It was my first time at the restaurant and it was such a pleasant experience. I went on New Years Eve, and the service we got was amazing. The waiter went out of his way to ensure that my partner and I were satisfied with our food, and he also engaged with conversation. We wanted the pineapple topped with cinnamon- and couldn't get enough of it. The waiter helped us by bringing more of the pineapple dessert even though the area was busy. Very impressed and definitely will come back again sometime soon.
The restaurant had a great atmosphere. The waiters and waitresses were very nice and overall the food was very delicious. Love the Garlic Steak and cheese bread
Had a party of 8, only complaint was the table was a little small, basically 8 people squeezed into a 6 people table, we had an advanced reservation so I found that very odd. We were in the back, we felt some items never made it to the back. After we realize what was happened, we started requesting specific items to the servers, and they were very accomodating on bringing what we have asked for. Food is super tasty. Very good value @ lunch.
Both the food and service was fantastic.
I was very disappointed by the service we received. We came here because it was closer to our home but would prefer to make the drive downtown to Rodeo or Copacabana.
There isn't a point to open table. They don't really read it. I asked for the desert to have happy birthday on it through this and they didn't do it. And when they called to confirm they said table for 4 but I asked for 2.
Excellent customer service. Food was plenty and available non stop. I personally would rather have a good Keg steak for the price but well worth the experience.
Had a beautiful lunch date with the wife. Place had a big spacious dinning area that people don't bump into you or pack like sardines.
Our server kept checking on us if we needed anything which I appreciated at same time not turning into a annoyance.
Gauchos constantly going around offering different types of meat. Chicken Wings and Pork Ribs were good size but I came for the Beef! Like my beef medium rare or medium which was fantasic. Sirloin, Rump Cap, Garlic Steak to name a few.
Food was coming out in a timely manner from the kitchen. Good selection of salads as a side dish or if you're a vegetarian the main course.
Pricewise not inexpensive but I would come back for that special occasion(s).
Parking lot gets busy since other restaurants in area shares the same parking spaces.
Great atmosphere and food tastes spot on. The meat selection was great and excellent customer service. A bit pricey for the quality of food but definitely recommended.
