Normally we visit one a year on vacation. This time some of the food was not hot coming out.
The pasta was over cooked and the food was fair. The best part of the meal was the anti pasta platter. Portions were huge for the money.
Food was delicious, and genuinely home-made in house. Desserts especially nice and fresh and authentic. Atmosphere was a bit bland, formula-Italian, but pleasantly conducive to table conversation. Our server was attentive and pleasant.
Come here for the food.
The food came out quickly which was good, until it tasted like it was just frozen and thawed out beforehand.
We were 3 families getting together do dinner on vacation in OC, MD. All of us enjoyed our drinks, meals & desserts. We will definitely be going back to Touch of Italy.
Terrific choices and wonderful service. Everything was delicious, hot and nicely presented. Antipasto was high quality and sauces were spot on.
Our party of 6 ordered within minutes of seating and our meals were not served for one hour and twenty minutes. I believe it would have been even longer if we didn’t question.
We were told the kitchen had a large party to serve before us.
We were compensated with some complimentary cookies..
9 of us family and friends really enjoyed our meal here. The ambiance, service and food were very good. Orancini, Burrata and Antipasto were very good. We had assorted Pasta dishes, Pizza and Chicken Parm were all very good. I would highly recommend this place and we plan to return on our next visit to Ocean City.
I had made a reservation for my family because we had a party of 8 and didn’t want to wait an hour. We still had to wait over 20 minutes with a reservation. The food was delicious. My portion size of the chicken parmigiana could feed 2 people.
They truly are a “Best of Ocean City!” Friendly and attentive staff, fabulous and fresh food and a wonderful atmosphere!
Took our 14 month old grandson here for the first time. The staff treated him nicely. Edith was a good waitress. We enjoy the varied food options. Recommend: meatball appetizer, pasta bolognese, manicotti, calzones, pasta with sausage. We will return.
As always excellent food with fantastic and attentive service. The restaurant has a very vibrant and authentic feel of being in a genuine Italian Bistro.
My wife and I come here twice a year for the past 5 years when we go to ocean city. Food is great, service and ambiance is great. We are from New York and are very picky with Italian food and this is very good. It is a must go for everyone.
Server was great and so was the food
The food was awesome and the service was excellent. I thought it was rather quiet for the amount of people there. I can't get over how good the food tasted. I recommend if you're in the Ocean City area, stop by and eat.
Food was fabulous. Will definitely return
Another must have when dining here, and you can get the meats and cheeses to go from their Italian deli.
We love this place! The service and the food was great. Real Italian specialties. The breads, the meats, the olive oil. Weekend reservations are a must.
Chicken Parm was enough for at least 2 people. Huge dish that was excellent~
Great food. As advertised. Large portions.
We had reservations for a party of 8 on a busy Saturday night. There were people waiting, but we were seated right away. Both the service and food were excellent also
We always make a trip to Touch of Italy when we are in ocean city. The food is always delicious and the service is good. The gnocchi appetizer is a favorite. Chicken parmigiana is very good - HUGE portion! Linguini Vongole, fish, and pastas are all good though the pastas can be somewhat greasy. They also have a deli area. We have purchased delicious meats and cheeses from there and served them to our Italian friends who loved it! Another good thing is that it is one of the few restaurants in ocean city that takes dinner reservations which is a huge plus during the summer busy season.
Another enjoyable meal. Good service. Recommend: fried calamari and specials that night-flounder piccata and shrimp scampi. Will return.
My wife and I went here after reading reviews. We did ask for the quiet room and it was quiet enough to carry on a normal conversation without shouting. We also heard that our portions were large and after talking with the waiter (He was great), decided to split a salad and the chicken parm. I'm glad we did because we couldn't finish it. It was excellent food and exceptional service. The only issue we had is that the food came just after we received the salad. By the time we got to it, it wasn't as hot as we would like. The waiter graciously heated it up for us. He apologized for the food coming too early.
Calamari portion was Much smaller than what we had before. The heads were way too crunchy. everything else was pretty good. Not much change to the menu over time. Ran out of bread and it was Not replaced.
Room Temperature was too cool.
My family has had a condo in OC for 12 years, yet this was out first trip to Touch of Italy. The hostess was nice, but not particularly enthusiastic. Morgan, our waitress, was personable and nice.
My wife & I shared a Caesar salad, which was delivered by the manager, who was also very nice. She had the Chicken Parmesean, which could feed a family of four itself. I had the pizza with proscuitto, mushrooms and artichokes. The entire meal was delicious.
I had no idea there is an Italian grocery store in this resort town. Now that I do I'll stop by to buy some deli meats and pasta.
Eggplant appetizer was disgusting! Not even sure it was real eggplant. Tasted like cardboard. Told server that it should be taken off the menu. No manager came to ask why & no compensation for the uneaten appetizer. Only the pizza or pasta is worth eating there.
Our server was friendly and efficient. Food runners didn't know which seats the food was going to and handed off our food to us abruptly. The food was good and serving sizes were generous however they were out of about 5 things we tried to order throughout the night due to the holiday week. There were sound buffering panels on the ceiling but even with that our table of 8 couldn't converse comfortably across the table due to the amount of dining room noise. It was a solid meal choice but it didn't feel as relaxing or as well paced as a special occasion meal should be for the amount of money we spent for it.
Best part of the meal was getting 100 points from Open Table
soup came and was cold. I didn't know minestrone was a cold soup. party of 6 and only 5 dinners came out. The sixth came out 20 minutes later, NOT ACCEPTABLE! Spent $200 on dinner and would have expected better!
The Italian deli area looked amazing upon walking in. Disappointed in the hostess reception we received. Not 1 word, she did not speak 1 word to us. She seemed aggravated to the point that I thought maybe something happened and she just couldn't muster up a smile let alone a greeting. We've all had bad days so I brushed it off but the husband and I both agreed it made us feel awkward. Waitress was helpful and friendly. Management was also helpful and friendly. Gave us his card so we could order an entire sheet of the dessert we had.
Pizza is the highlight - excellent. The other menu items are good. The market is a lot of fun for foodies with lots of interesting choices from Arthur Ave in the Bronx.
We ate here this past August and the food was definitely worth a return visit. This time we requested a table in the quieter room which helped make the experience even better. Our server Tony was terrific and made our dining experience even better. The calamari appetizer was crisp and delicious. The fra diablo sauce that comes with it was delicious. We both ordered pizzas which were yummy and sufficient for another meal. Will definitely keep this on our must eat here list when we’re in OC.
Large menu with many choices, perfectly prepared entrees, delicious desserts and friendly staff.
Compared to its other locations in Rehoboth and Lewes, this spot falls short both in service and ambiance but the food is still good. Waiter was indifferent and somewhat cynical when we attempted to connect on a personal level. Furniture seemed to be aging and not kept up. Busy place but no personality unless you like being ignored. We won't come back.
The food here was amazing. Truly authentic Italian. The one thing that seriously lacked for us was the service. We went on a Saturday night. They just seemed severely understaffed. I'm going to assume that it is because it is one of the first weekends of the off-season in OCMD and they are still trying to figure it out. Our food came out hot and we weren't in a huge hurry, so it ended up not being a huge deal for us. The server was apologetic and visibly stressed about our waiting.
Very nice place and good service, but the food was very disappointing.
Very nice staff friendly. Food good
Touch of Italy never disappoints! Great food, excellent wine list, generous portions, and desserts like Nonna used to make! Those greeting us were warm and welcoming, and our waiter Nick couldn't have been more attentive and accommodating.. Looking forward to our next visit.
