Great food…great atmosphere…love Beacon Hill!
Just wonderful as always!
Brought friends here for the first time….
they also loved the ambiance, food and excellent service.
Thank you Peter for your excellent card and service.
Such a lovely evening……
Such a SPLENDID spot to celebrate a special occasion!! And Peter, YOU Rock!!!! 👏🏼
Loved it.. so many places to eat in Boston, and this was recommended.. The Pasta with bacon and a red cream sauce was amazing.. The bread and aged balsamic was so good.. We really enjoyed our time there.. Nice area of town.. you can walk through public park, visit Cheers and walk up Acorn street and around Bunker hill area..
Thank you. All was as wonderful as always! Food delicious!
Always consistently good. Great food, ambiance and staff. You cannot make a bad choice from the menu- everything is delicious!
Once again, another A++ dinner at Toscano. The food, the cocktails, the staff, it’s all amazing.
First night of vacation!
We had an excellent dinner with friends at Toscano. The food was superb, the ambience was delightful and the staff were extraordinarily friendly.
Food was amazing! The ambiance was great and the servers were very attentive and friendly. I had the rigatoni and blueberry tart, both of which were delicious! Highly recommend.
Wow. Hands down the best Italian restaurant I’ve been to in the city. Great location, excellent service, AMAZING food.
Delicious, high quality food. Excellent wine selection. Great service.
Excellent waitress and excellent food! We had the gnocchi and sole Going back again very soon!
The martinis, wine, food and service were exceptional as always.
Everything from greeting at the door to wait person's greeting at the table to the final check was superb. Roberto noticed that a gift card was delivered to our table by one of the hosts, a surprise called in from one of our friends. He inquired if we were celebrating an occasion. Our 32nd anniversary. His response was nice. Roberto's recommendations were helpful. We only ordered main courses and each dish was superb. The special salmon dish came with 2 shrimp, 2 scallops, and grilled vegetables and a small dish of mild mustard sauce with a hint of wasabi. The shrimp and scallops both had their own distinct flavors (no need for any sauce) and were beautifully prepared. The salmon and the sauce went well together and a salmon was moist and perfect. The vegies were perfect, too. My wife chose the special chicken dish that came with a side of their wonderful wild mushroom risotto. There was a thigh and large breast complimented with a wonderful sauce. My wife and I split the two entrees so we could enjoy both dishes. When the meal was cleared, Roberto brought out one of their signature desserts with a little bowl of whipped cream with a lit candle on the side as a congratulations from the house. The blueberry, white chocolate tart was heavenly. Once devoured by the two of us, we chose to get a second dessert. Tiramisu, the house specialty, was fantastic. Peaked on top of the serving was a thin sheet of dark chocolate that melted in your mouth. Presentation of all the items was spot on. Attention to detail by Roberto was fantastic and he checked in on us appropriately a few times. Support staff were excellent, too. It would be nice to keep Toscano's our little secret as we have been here several times when in the area. But that would not be fair. The absolutely fantastic experience should we available for all.
Wonderful food, comfortable ambiance and welcoming service
Absolutely wonderful. Food well prepared and presented. Will go again when next in Boston.
We enjoyed a great dinner and great service. The restaurant is lovely; would have preferred seating not so close to the main entrance. Seems like this is what we always get when using Open Table.
Overall it was a nice dinner and we enjoyed our evening at this restaurant. We were disappointed on the overall flavor of the steak and lamb chops, but were cooked perfectly. They both lacked seasoning. The bruschetta also lacked seasoning and was served on a very hard piece of bread, I would pass on ordering that all together.
Great, other than the screeching 3-4 year old child nearby that the three adults at the table were totally ignoring (on their phones, chatting with each other). No attempts to engage, quiet, or distract the child, let alone take him out for a couple of minutes to calm him down. I realize that this is on the parents, not the restaurant (or the child, for that matter). I don't recall seeing many kids this young in there, but maybe Toscano could have a few coloring books or something on hand. This is a white table cloth restaurant, and patrons shouldn't have to endure the noise this child was making. Sympathies to the parents if the child has emotional/behavioral problems they're dealing with, but perhaps this type of restaurant isn't the best environment for their family at this time.
Very nice place in a great neighborhood. I know it's Italian and fine dining but the mashed potatoes at Toscana are to be reckoned with. Don't miss the blueberry tart.
Fabulous food with beautiful atmosphere and lovely, friendly staff. Would definitely go again
I love the ambiance at Toscano and the Italian inspired foordis cooked to perfection. My husband and I had the veal scallopini limone and it was outstanding. It is a true neighborhood gem, locally owned and operated
Good is really well prepared. Beautiful restaurant in beacon hill.
The dine out boston menu is always such a good value and always offers good options. The food was so fresh, flavorful and hot. Our waiter Roberto was professional, personable and attentive. It was a beautiful summer night to sit out in the night air in beacon hill and have such a wonderful dining experience. This was my mother’s first visit and she can’t stop talking about how much she enjoyed her and what a great night we had.
The servers are extremely helpful. Someone trying Italian for first time, I definitely recommend this place. Food was awesome
It was a wonderful quiet birthday celebration! The food was excellent, the service was wonderful and attentive! The atmosphere was happy and warm.
Very familiar restaurant week menu . Good quality well prepared. Great services.
Only change for the negative was bread service as now mediocre rolls were served wherein past had good crusty Italian product
Solid Italian restaurant in the neighborhood
The food was amazing. The wine selection was very good and all of it was only topped by the outstanding service. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation and look forward to returning when I’m next in Boston.
Nails it. Every. Single. Time. This place is heaven.
Great meal in an awesome part of Boston.
Our server Lina was simply fantastic; attentive, smart, and helpful. We were seated just outside the kitchen with a glass wall to observe the inner workings of this fabulous Italian restaurant. Was an ideal space, menu, and with unsurpassed service.
Dinner and service exceptional! Noise level a bit high, conversation was a little difficult. Hard to hear wait staff over the conversation noise level combined with them wearing masks. Definitely will not keep me from going back! So glad they were part of dine out Boston!
Always great food and cocktails. Great ambience. Love to go for date night
Absolutely delightful experience. Our first time back and it was just as we always expected. Our waiter, Peter, was a pro. Knew when to let us enjoy our friends and when to guide us in selections. Thank you.
Continued outstanding restaurant experience.
