We had a lovely time at Toscana. The food was excellent from the homemade rolls to the dessert. We both had pasta dishes and they were inventive and tasty. The service was impeccable and the ambiance relaxed but elegant. Cannot wait to go back when we are next in Boston.

We had an occasion to celebrate so we chose Toscano. We dine at Toscano several times a year. The food is consistently delicious and the service exquisite. We are always very pleased with your dining experience there.

Service was great ..very accommodating, nice and friendly .. food -pretty bad .. linguine with clam sauce made with tomatoes ? / tough rubbery clams -kinda like slices of a sneaker ..had the veal scallopini with lemon sauce - pretty horrible-tough meat /sour ,bitter sauce ..pasta special was undercooked, tasteless, weirdly pungent ( supppsed to be a truffle cream sauce)..also , pretty expensive for such bad food .. nice ambience though ..maybe local people get better food as place was packed..

Normally Julie and I dine with it being just the two of us, this time we had guests so our choices were different as with our needs. With this being our friend’s first trip to Toscano we tried to explain all the wonderful option including where it was lunch, they could order a smaller portion of pasta dishes. Something we didn't think about is that each of our guests had special needs. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that these needs were not just taken in stride but they explained the process to ensure their safety and requirements were met. Our server Roberto was amazing. He expanded on my thoughts (without having heard me discuss their menu) and made suggestions. When we ordered and finished with our friends both completely cleaning plates. We each split a dessert which they loved. We had ordered our favorite wine (white), but one person preferred red so Amy found something that went with everything that was ordered; service never seems to stop at Toscano. This was a special meal as our friends are getting married and lunch was the precursor to some shopping. Everything was perfect and our friends are already looking forward to meeting us in Boston for Toscano again...so are we. Thank you, Bill & Julie

Top notch from start to finish. Four of us went mid day on Saturday. Had a reservation for 3pm so it wasn't super busy. Ordered the grilled calamari which is always excellent. We then split 2 pizzas and 2 salads. Pizza was thin crispy crust. We ordered the Quattro formaggi and the verdure. They were both very good..Everyone at the table was very pleased with their meal. Also ordered the tiramisu and creme Carmel for deserts. Not a traditional tiramisu but very nice. Creme caramel was excellent. The service was superb and the price was reasonable.
