Terrific food, wonderful staff, and great experience.
Great authentic Italian food. A reliable Charles Street standout.
Wonderful ambiance overlooking Charles St. and outstanding homemade ravioli, branzino fish, and beset salad.
We enjoyed our experience at Toscanos very much. The food was great and the waiter was completely accurate in his descriptions of the dishes we ordered. We all expressed a desire to return.
Very nice, it was a pleasure to enjoy the food and service! We love this restaurant!
Excellent will go again
My favorite restaurant in Boston! Great service as always.
It was our first time dining here and we had a great time! Service was very attentive, food was delicious (rigatoni toscano and the 4 cheese gnocchi) and they brought a dessert out for my husband's birthday with a candle (it was a surprise). We would definitely go back again!
Our first time at Toscano, it will not be our last. The service was great, the portions were plentiful. Share the appetizers, they are huge. The Osso Buco was great. Wine wasn't overly pricey. Can't wait to go back.
Terrific service, delicious food. Great place to celebrate a birthday!
All three courses were very good: Caesar salad, veal, and for dessert frutti di bosci served in a sbaglione custard and chocolate cake. My wife had a glass of moscato d'asti and I had a quartino of Chianti riserva. We go here regularly for birthday dinners and are never disappointed. Worth mentioning is the warm welcome we received on arrival from the maitresse d' Cost ($114) was what we expected. Not quite haute cuisine but we weren't expecting this. Finally, though there is a valet service, we've never had much trouble parking on Charles Street.
Outstanding finish to a great time at the theatre! Delicious food and excellent service. Will return soon.
Haven’t been to Toscano in years mostly because there are so many choices. After revisiting, I will remember to return more often. All was wonderful. The kitchen was so accommodating with splitting orders, preparing a special dish all on a very busy Saturday night.
Thank you Toscano!
Overall great dining experience. Our waiter was attentive and very pleasant. I had the eggplant parmigiana as a starter and it was fantastic! The portions were very generous on all of our items. We would definitely return again.
Terrific staff and excellent classic Italian food.
Toscano is an excellent spot for lunch in Beacon Hill. There's excellent variety on the menu, so if you don't want a large main course (or their amazing pasta), you can order appetizers, soups and salads. Nice selection of wines by the glass and some really terrific dessert cocktails as well.
It was a really good place to go. We had a great time and the food was good.
Toscano was a great dining experience! During my reservation I marked that the occasion for dinner was a date and we when we arrived not only did we get seated 15 minutes early, but we also got set up with a really nice table immediately next to the window. which did tons for the romantic atmosphere.
Overall, the dining was great. The wine came out perfectly chilled and the food itself was fantastic. We ordered the Bruschetta as a starter (very yummy!) and we had a the Gnocchi and the Orechiette Vitelo (highly recommended). My only qualm is that the overall experience felt very rushed. Maybe it was because our reservation was for 9 PM and the restaurant closes at 10 PM but I would take 2 sips of my wine and the server was there to pour me half a glass more. In all the overall dining was great, it could have been a little bit more protracted but it was still highly enjoyable.
My second time at Toscano and I loved it again. We were in Boston for a conference and had a table of 5. The service was excellent and they had no problem handling special orders. The food was fabulous. I highly recommend the house appetizer. I had a seafood mixed grill with grilled vegetables. My husband had the tiramisu dessert and loved it. Great wine selection too. My only complaint is the noise level.
