Beautiful space with a great location and convenient Valet parking. Our reservation was for a Saturday evening and it was busy but the Hostess was still able to seat us right away. Menu had a very good selection with moderate prices. It was a little too noisy to have a conversation but other than that it was a nice night. I would definitely go back.
Wonderful meal with outstanding service from Daniel.
Always good, I especially enjoy their branzino. Toscano is always popular, so reserve ahead. I wish it were a bit less dark, or else that they would put candles on the tables - lighting could be more intimate.
Excellent meal. Both of us enjoyed the food. BUT, it was much too noisy and OpenTable won't credit me for the meal. What's up with that? They know I ate at Toscano and they want me to review the restaurant. But they claim that I never ate there.
I'm happy to send a copy of my credit card receipt.
Delicious food and cozy ambiance with attentive wait staff
What a lovely evening, amazing food.
Every entrée was incredible, look forward to going back.
Outstanding service. Decadent food. Will come back!
Excellent service, great food, fine ambience. Our go-to place for special occasions
Wonderful service excellent food, enjoyed it immensely
Always a favorite -- with the very best (no joke) vodka martinis anywhere.
Went to Toscano's on a Friday evening. The location is attractive and cozy. The wait staff was very attentive. The food and drink was very good and it was a great evening. I will return.
We always have an incredible time at Toscano’s. Food, wine and service are always perfect in this cozy restaurant.
I was meeting a relative from Maine at the restaurant. We had made arraignments to meet at a certain time for a reservation. Medical treatment at a local hospital ran late. It was a mid week evening with plenty of available seating. We made to feel very uncomfortable and as if we were taking money out of everyone’s pocket as they didn’t turn the table over. I was embarrassed as I’m sure my company was as well. We won’t be returning. I would think with MGH down the street you would of been a bit more understanding......
Excellent as always. One of our favorite Boston restaurants
Recommended by friends whose daughter attends BU. Lovely place that serves great food and drink. The area is also worth a visit, so an after dinner stroll is possible.
Consistently terrific service, food and beverage, and overall experience. Made a reservation, requested to be seated at the bar, this was not only accommodated but also on time. Highly recommend!
Dinner was perfect in every possible way!! Our server, the meal , the ambiance... !! Toscano is consistently excellent—a very special dining experience!!
We have been here a few times in the past. The service is outstanding but the food quality has gone downhill. It is now just average, nothing special
Excellent food and service. Accommodated special requests.
Excellent all around. Good choices on the menu, at very reasonable prices, especially in such a beautiful restaurant. Wine selection is fantastic. Highly recommended.
The attention to detail in the way they service their tables is impeccable!
We always enjoy our experience at Toscano! What a great place!
Asked for the table by the window and was pleasantly surprised that they had saved it for us! The waiter was great and the tomato caprese delicious
Always a great Restaurant Week menu and there's no skimping of this well prepared food
Great service, a little slow to start. Food was good.
First of all, service was okay. Food was mediocre. I ordered the Pollo Toscano for entree. I barely had two bites of it. Chicken was over cooked, sauce was bland, and the mushrooms were also flavorless. When finally the dessert came, tiramisu was served oddly in one of those ice cream bowls, which was unique but it's more like some alcoholic cake had a car accident with chocolate cream/mousse and got smashed in. There were no identifiable layers, just a smash. Not my kind of tiramisu. Not amazing at all. I left two stars for the delicious Polpettini Fiorentina (veal/beef/pork) meatballs but that's about it! Would not come back!
4 of us decided on a sit-down dinner at well-rated restaurant over adjacent bar/hole-in-the-wally places. We ordered the 3 course pre-fix menus during restaurant week. The service was decent but the food was very bad. One of us got the risotto, two ordered the chicken parmesan and I got the veal scallopini. None of the primi and secondi items had any taste or flavor to them. The veal tasted very bland and potatoes were undercooked. The chicken and the parmesan crust fell apart in no time, and the marinara overpowered everything! The disappointment level was particularly high considering we paid 55$/person including a glass of wine. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Had it been one item, I would give it a second shot, but we sampled 3 items between the 4 of us, and they were all deplorable.
Sat at the Bar. Mark was attentive and lovely
My roasted salmon was excellent, however the Tucson Soup was barely warm.
And the dessert was only ok.
Incredible food, delicious, fresh, fantastic presentation. 6 of us at our table, every single one of us were pleased with our evening, starting with drinks, fresh bread on our table, first course, second course, and lovely dessert. Excellent service from the bar to our table. Looking forward to returning soon.
Always a great place for dinner— one of my favorites!! Went there for Boston Restaurant week. Excellent menu! We were the last to leave that evening and never felt rushed.
Everything was perfect! Went to Toscano for Dine Out week and was not disappointed! The food was flavorful and delicious, the waitstaff was lovely and attentive and the ambiance was perfect for a romantic dinner with a loved one. I will certainly be returning!
This is a great restaurant. Just not during Restaurant Week. The foood was good but not up to 5heir usual standards. We. Will go there again but not during Restaurant Week
Always fun with excellent staff. Roberto did such a nice job for us! Great selection and specials.
This was a very awkward dining experience. About half a dozens waiters just stared at us while we were eating. It was very uncomfortable.
The food was not very flavorful and we felt rushed the entire time we were there. I would not return
This has always been a favorite of ours in the city and continues to be one of our ideal date night spots with a great atmosphere, wine list and menu. The Salciccia Pizza might be one of my favorite pizzas of all time, and love that they always feature delicious specials which adds excitement and variety to each visit.
One of my favorites in Boston. It is a perfect setting for both personal and professional events. Food, service, venue- all outstanding. Biggest drawback - getting a reservation at this very popular restaurant!
Pizza wasn't bad but nothing special. Excellent service.
