We were surprised to get a restaurant week menu. It was a great value for delicious food. The service was wonderful too. Highly recommend and will definitely return.
This is still, my favorite Italian restaurant to date. I’ve been coming here for several years. The food is always authentic Italian, yet modernized and elevated . Service is always outstanding, food is always great, and great wine list (although I’d love to see a barolo by the glass option). This is where actual Italians go out to dinner for Italian food. Bravo Toscano’s keep up the stellar service and product !
Service excellent and food is consistently fabulous.
Everything perfect as usual. Wonderful waitress. Early but cheerfully accommodated by hostess.
Excellent food. Toscano never disappoints
Great food at a good price. Big portions. Service by Stephen was prefect
Great food and the tiramisu was outstanding!!! I would definitely recommend this Beacon Hill gem!!!
Service was extremely attentive. The food was good but not rave-worthy, and the bar is high for Italian food in Boston. Honestly my favorite part of the meal was the bread! It was delightful soft, just salted enough focaccia. I had 3 pieces!
Love this restaurant. Tonight we felt a bit rushed and our table was a (strange) booth right near bar and host stand and difficult for 3 people to talk.
Went to Toscanos for my birthday. I had heard great things about the place for months and decided to give it a shot. It was a Monday night, and the earliest reservation I could get was for 8pm. Showed up around 7:15 expecting to have to wait at the bar for 45 mins, but was sat immediately which was great. My girlfriend and I sat in the back room by the kitchen, and it was nice and quiet. Our waiter was extremely attentive and made us feel welcomed. We had a bottle of wine, the cheese plate with truffle honey, calamari in a red sauce, the rigatoni with truffle cream sauce and sausage, and orecchiette with veal and mushrooms. Everything was fantastic. Will be back again.
Our favorite Boston restaurant for many years! Always fantastic in every regard.
Our server, Janine, was wonderful.
Nice venue, good decoration, friendly welcome. The starter size was large but tasted good, we both had pizzas, the base was good and crispy, the speck pizza had great flavour, the Italian sausage was nice but lacked a little flavour. Overall a good dinner.
Terrific everything!
Cindy was Outstanding as a waitress I would go back just because of her. The food was so good. Please go for the food and Cindy. Thank you Toscano will be back
One of our consistent favorite whether for special occasion dinners, just a weeknight date, or business lunches. Specials are just that, the staff is very accommodating to your requests.
beautiful restaurant, excellent waiter, terrific food...loved it !
The food is always so good here. Our waiter was very friendly and the service ice was great. Look forward to our next visit
We go here every Friday and we are never disappointed. The staff are professional and courteous, the food always outstanding! The ambiance and decor is stunning.
Great Italian food in a nice setting. The pasta dishes are amazing. Osso bucco a must. Noise level is high in a busy night.
Delicious dinner in beautiful setting; only slight negative was the pasta being under done.
Food was amazing and service was great! Nice ambiance, maybe a little noisy at times but so worth it overall. This will become a regular spot.
Excellent food , service and atmosphere .
Waiter was kind and attentive, food was delicious and fairly priced. Ambience was quiet and relaxed. Great experience.
Great Food. Beautiful restaurant! Staff friendly and helpful. Ambiance is great.
Toscano has been one of our favorites since it opened on Beacon Hill years ago. The food never disappoints. The night we were there they had a roasted porcini mushroom appetizer that was the best use of mushrooms I've ever tasted - some sort of light grill charring, maybe, and some fresh herb that I didn't recognize. Outstanding. I would eat two servings as a main course! As usual, their fresh homemade pasta is fantastic. I had the linguine with clams - tons of clams, perfectly cooked - and my husband had the rigatoni with smoked bacon/tomato cream. The rigatoni is one of their original dishes and is as delicious now as it was from the start. Service is professional; you never have to look around for your waitstaff; water is refilled before you drink half the glass. Wines by the glass are very reasonable - $11/$12 for a carafe which is two full glasses. Altogether, appetizer, wine, and pasta for two people, the total was a hair under $75. Reasonable price for outstanding food and service.
Absolutely hands down best experience in Boston
Food and service was fantastic as usual!
Lovely time, seated early, great waiter s d great suggestions. Their simple spaghetti with tomato sauce is as good as it grayscale. Had awesome rack of lamb too.
Exquisite, from a to z. Highly recommended!
With 5 diners we were thrilled to be seated at a round table by the window it felt like we were tucked away by ourselves. The service was friendly and welcoming and loved that all our food was delivered at the same time. The menu was diverse so that even our vegan diner was happy with all the choices presented. The salads were interesting and large enough to share as were the entrees. A few of us took home doggie bags. Everyone was happy with their choice and all will return again for another wonderful experience.
Nice, but not outstanding Italian resaurant. The food was very good. Fairly noisy, but we were a group of four, and we could all hear each other when talking in a normal voice.
Toscano is always a pleasant experience! A friend and I decided to treat ourselves to dinner at Toscano Wednesday night before we went to a show at the Colonial. Our waiter Peter was fabulous. Our meals were delicious. I had the veal parm special. The wine was good as was our flourless chocolate cake dessert. The price was fairly reasonable. We sat at the window table overlooking Charles St which is always lovely. Toscano is a gem!
Great spot in Beacon Hill, street parking right out front. Server was attentive and food was good. A good spot for a business dinner and something for everyone on the menu. Definitely recommend.
A sophisticated, but traditional, Italian restaurant with Impeccable Service, ample choices and, Generally, excellent food.
Great as usual.
Great food...even better service. Kudos to Toscano for a great evening.
Toscano never disappoints. The menu is extensive without the long list of specials. The Osso Bucco was tender and the saffron rice was perfect with it. It also is one of the few restaurants that has great seating for 2 people rather than stuffed in a banquet.
Daniel was THE best wait person and was as important as the food in making our dining experience exceptional.
Peter is the best, we continue to enjoy Toscano every time!
Excellent food and even better service...wonderful night out. I would highly recommend, and can’t wait to get back.
Excellent dining experience. Everything was perfect from the M’aitre d to the server to the food. Everything was delicious. My wife and I both had specials that were outrageously well prepared. The server was friendly and new the menu well. Highly reccomend
