Once again, this restaurant provided us with the best Restaurant Week experience. The wait staff was exceptionally engaging. The food selection was outstanding.
Always nice for a casual meal or a business meeting. Lots of locals go for the well prepared food
A favorite restaurant of mine, always great service and food! We had a show to get to and the waitress ensured we make it on time, while never rushing us!
Food is always excellent, fresh, authenic. Everyone that works there is kind, exceptional, friendly.
Hadn't been to Toscano's in a while. Not sure why because every time I've gone, I've loved it! Well, they didn't disappoint. Food was so delicious! Excellent, authentic, elevated Italian cuisine. Service attentive without being disruptive. Great Restsurant all around. Will be back more frequently.
Noise level was unbearable! Food and service outstanding.
There is consistently a great selection for the restaurant week menu.
Only quibble I have is that the desserts are overly sweet. There use to be a gelato option but is no longer being offered....simpler is better sometimes!
from appetizers to dessert - a wonderful experience.
Very good. Steak filet special was excellent.
Prosciutto appetizer was really nice.
Food was fantastic, Waiter was to the point of rude. He did not like it that we were there for Restaurant Week and therefore gave as little service as possible including insulting one of our party. He did not realize that if we really liked the restaurant we would definitely return many times.
Great food and great service. We had a lovely evening and would definitely go back.
The food was delicious! Loved the bruschetta to start and then gnocchi and seafood dishes for entrees.
Best value in Boston - great food, nice Atmosphere and profession friendly service. Everything from the apps to dessert is always fresh and well prepared.
The last time we dined at Toscanos it was during a very busy period and it was almost impossible to have a conversation. Despite this, the food has always been exceptional and the service attentive so we thought we give it another try at a quieter time. We were not disappointed. Will be back!
I have never been disappointed with Toscano, both locations. I have been coming to Toscano for several years and try to eat there whenever I am in Boston. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. The food is fantastic, always quality, never routine.
Have been to Toscano's several times and found the food generally good, but on this occasion it was disappointing. Shrimp was extremely tough (probably over-cooked); spinach ravioli flavor was disappointing. Best item we had was wild mushroom pizza as a shared appetizer. Hopefully it was just an "off" night.
The food was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Portions good.
However, The noise level was too high for a comfortable conversation. Distracting and annoying.
I do love the Toscanos. I have dined there many times and recommend as fav restaurant and best Italian food.
Toscano is one of my favorite restaurants! Both the Cambridge and Beacon Hill locations are superb - food, service, wine.
Can't say enough about this restaurant. Food, ambience and service was the finest. Enjoyed every moment of it, we had lunch & dinner there for all three days of our vacation in Boston. The meatballs are the best!! Loved our server Mark!
First let me say that Jorge is one of the best waiters we ever had. He has an amazing personality, he knows the food, the wine, and makes great suggestions. My boyfriend and I came to Boston for one night and we chose this restaurant based on friends recommendation. It was amazing!
Excellent food and the service was very good. Have been several times and will keep going back.
We live in DC but stop in Boston on our way to Maine or Cape Cod. We always dine at Toscanini, The menu is perfect with so many options and every is always freshly made.
I have been coming to this restaurant for, it seems like 30 years, and it is consistently excellent. I love the food, the service, the ambiance, and especially the location. We love doing some shopping at the boutiques on the street, followed by a pleasant dinner.
Unfortunately this restaurant was underwhelming and the only reasons for the above average rating was for our waitress and the gnocchi. Everything else we ordered was under seasoned over cooked. Left disappointed as was looking forward to an Italian meal outside of north Boston
The restaurant was really nice, and the ambience was great- more like formal dining, except that even at 8pm the noise level was quite high. I couldn’t hear the conversations from my friends sitting right across the table. Other than that, everything was good. Considering that all four of us were vegetarians, the staff was really nice and cooperative. They made their best efforts to make substitutions and add vegetables to many of the pasta dishes. The rigatoni with tomato cream sauce, linguini pesto, spinach ravioli, and vegetarian pizza was delicious. Portion sizes were quite big, and hence didn’t get a chance to try their desserts🙁. I would come back again.
I have been to this restaurant a handful of times, and it never fails us. We love coming here, whether it's a friends' get-together or a date night! We went just last Saturday for our friends birthday and they gave us a birthday dessert on the house - so sweet! Highly recommend this restaurant!
We were in Boston for 5 days. We ate at some amazing restaurants. This was the best food and service. Outstanding all the way around and would highly recommend it ..
Excellent dinner! The quality of every dish we ordered was as good as or better than those at our favorite Italian restaurants back home (NYC). Our waiter wasn’t thrilled that we chose to share a combination of antipasti, salads and just two main courses, but everyone else was friendly and welcoming. The place could be just a tiny bit brighter, as no one could read the menus without pulling out their phones for light. A few candles could help. Otherwise, we would definitely recommend Toscano to other NY foodies looking for good Italian outside of the North End.
Great food but setting was noisy. Reservation promptly honored and efficient server.
One of the best Italian restaurants in Boston, a hidden gem, has valet parking
Best. Meal. Ever.
I ordered the papardelle and the pasta was excellent but the duck sauce was a little bland. Others in our party enjoyed the Toscano chicken and the gnocci. They were nice but not great. All the sauces seemed a bit lacking in flavor. The cannoli was great, and the blueberry tart was fresh and lightly sweet, a good summer dessert.
Overall, I felt that it was not a good value because the main dishes were basic, but not excellent.
Gnocchi was to die for, like little pillows of yumminess!!!
Truly authentic Italian food.
Rock hard unripened tomatoes! I ordered the Burrata and tomato salad. Portion was generous and while the tomato was red it was not ripe, hard to cut and.... no flavor. I didn't send it back so as not to complain and upset my guest ....but I should have!!!!
We have been to toscano’s many times and enjoy it all the time. Greeting us at the door and waitstaff very friendly. Will return again. Thank you
Excellent service and food was delicious. A great place in Beacon Hill!
There are many and better Italian restaurantes in Boston. The pasta dishes we tried were very very ordinary. Nothing remarkable to recommend.
Excellent! Every aspect, from reservation adjustment to greeting upon arrival to service and, above all the food!
