parking a bit dificult
Celebrating our son running the Boston Marathon on Monday. Also an early birthday celebration.
The place as loud, waiters didn’t know what they were talking about and the gnocchi was the “only pasta made in house” and was the only gnocchi I’ve ever had that was bad. It had no bite and the sauce was weak at best.
The Basil Gimlet and Chocolate-mouse-tiramisu were excellent.
Food was great as always but service was slow.
Great service and delicious food & drinks! Would highly recommend
Everything was great. Celebrated an anniversary and received a lovely tiramisu on the house. Nice touch
We were so happy to be back @ Toscano for Sunday lunch. Fabulous swordfish & scalloping, beautiful panna cotta, and we were well taken care of by our waiter, Francisco.
Food tasted fresh and flavors were exceptional. One of our party ordered a clam pasta and one of them had sand in it, otherwise all was fine.
Very skimpy for the price....sides on plate ridiculous
Victor, our waiter, was spectacular. The food is incredible, the ambiance lovely, and the service was top-notch.
Have been to Toscano's several times and have always enjoyed everything on their extensive menu, even when it was something I had never had before. Definitely worth a visit if you have never been there. Reasonably priced, generous servings of good wine and food.
Always nice place to have a business meal. Wine is a bit sour for my taste but overall not too noisy food is great
The food was very disappointing from the bread to the soup, to the salads, and main entree’s.
The waiter tried to give us an “experience” however the amount of time to get a glass of wine & to order our meals and finally eat was almost 2.5 hours. We like to dine but the food was NOT worth the wait.
Loved Toscano for our 18 year anniversary! We had caprese for antipasti, I had pappardelle bolognese for dinner and blueberry torte for dessert. The service as impeccable, and we are so happy we chose Toscano to celebrate our day.
Great date night spot! There's so much on this menu that visiting multiple times a year is not a problem. We had appetizers of grilled calamari, beet salad and Gorgonzola. There was hardly any gorgonzola on the salad, that could be much improved. The pasta dishes were delicious and the desert and wine menu robust. The service was outstanding - ask to sit at Cisco's station, he's terrific.
I went here to celebrate my anniversary with my boyfriend. We’ve both never been before or even heard of it but I’ll definitely be going here again. The atmosphere is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the staff was so nice! It’s also in a very quiet location so you don’t hear the noise of the city.
Toscano’s lives up to its awesome reputation. The service was flawless (Thanks Victor) and the food was delicious. We shared a salad and a pasta course with two main courses. A Pinot Grigio from their excellent and affordable wine list perfectly complemented our dinner choices. I do appreciate having shared dishes split in the kitchen rather than my fussing with the division fat the table. Shared beet salad, tagliatelle with shrimp in a fresh tomato sauce were generous half portions. Followed by a perfectly grilled swordfish accompanied by roasted red pepper, arugula and zucchini and a wonderful veal Milanese were perfect choices. Dessert was out of the question after that feast!
It is a tad loud, but that is what happens when everyone is happy and relaxed and enjoying great food.
Food is excellent. We started with Bruschetta and Minestrone Soup, which were excellent. Our entrees were the Pappardelle Bolognese "Bianco", Linguini Pesto and the and Pork. All were superb. I think the best Bolognese around. The Pork was tender and juicy, which is often a challenge with pork. It is a great restaurant for outdoor dining without being outdoors considering the wide open windows. I highly recommend.
Food was uneven. Risotto was mushy and poorly seasoned
This was the best restaurant I’ve ever been to on a date. I swear to god please try this place. The food is to DIE for and my waiter, Cisco, was the best! He made sure we had the best experience and went above and beyond to give us everything we needed! Lovely setting! Delicious food! The mussels were so good I had to finish them and yet I still finished the applewood bacon pasta. And you can tell it was good quality because I wasn’t bloated or anything afterwards. Fresh ingredients make the difference! I will be attending again!
There are lots of 'higher end' restaurants in town, but not many that you leave feeling like the bill was really worth it. Toscano is a truly classic fine dining experience, especially for a special occasion. I have been there twice now and both of my servers were incredibly kind and cordial, food was fantastic and well portioned, and the overall ambiance is very nice. You can't go wrong here.
Great Italian restaurant near Harvard Square. Relaxed and attentive service.
Excellent food, service, ambience, fresh. Food quality, sauces for the pasta were outstanding, desserts were way above. This is a no miss place while in Boston in either locations
We always love it! It’s our favorite local restaurant. The staff is consistently polite and solicitous.
I went there to celebrate my doctoral dissertation defense, and it was the perfect choice for my celebration. The food was exquisite, the service was wonderful, and the atmosphere was beautiful. Cisco and Leo made us feel so welcome, and we had such a perfect evening!
Our party of four was seated promptly even though we were early for our reservation. We enjoyed a wonderful table by their sliding front windows. All of our drink selections as well as appetizers and main courses were delicious. Our waiter was the best! We will be returning and soon I hope.
Wonderful, attentive service and delicious meal!
One of the best restaurants in Cambridge. Food was fantastic and service was outstanding. Go there--your college children will love it (especially compared to dorm food!!!)
Attentive service, warm staff, nice ambience and reliably good food. Homemade sausage pizza was however quite bland
Not quite as good as their Boston counterpart. Food good but not Boston
Toscano is the best Italian in Harvard square and the food is to die for
Excellent service and food and wine was fantastic
The food was delicious and the decor was gorgeous! Great meal and even greater service.
So happy they are open again. As always delicious food, gracious staff, lovely ambience. Chose the Dine Out menu, great meal, nice portions.
Will dine at this restaurant again.
Excellent food and service, crisco was a outstanding waiter… We enjoyed our restaurant week dinner…
Service was so nice. Food and wine were great. Definitely visit again.
The grilling here is a signature feature. Great grilled fish, lamb, and vegetables. We’ll be back.
Delicious food, good wine list, not too crowded, helpful staff who aren’t overbearing. Definitely recommend!
I went here for Boston Dine Out and had a wonderful experience I would go back in a heartbeat. Food was tasty, our waiter was very personable and provided great service, and prices were reasonable. Definitely recommend!
