Toscana's Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
Great service - friendly and attentive. Food was very good except for the Caesar salad. It was bit dry and had too much cheese and too many croutons. Our entrees were fabulous so that made up for it.
Our biggest complaint was the noise level. It was overwhelming at times and made us wanted to finish up and get out. We wanted to linger a bit over the bottle of wine we purchased and maybe have coffee and dessert but the atmosphere was unpleasant.
I was in the mood for chicken cacciatore but I did not see it on the menu. I asked my waiter if they make that and he said yes they will. It was superb! I could not finish it all so I took the other half home and ate it the next night and it was great again. Highly recommend this restaurant
Had a super meal with homemade pastas.
Food and service were great.
Unfortunately we were seated next to a young couple who talked so loud at each other that our group couldn't hear our conversation over theirs.
We were visiting the area for the week and went there twice!!
Our first visit! We wish we found this place a long time ago! We had a reservation for four but the 16 person group before us also had a reservation so while Waiting for our table, the hostess left for a good ten minutes to get tables ready for the group of 16 people from Target. Don't know why they wouldn't have it all ready in the first place. It was getting past the time of our reservation and we were being patient but the hostess never once looked at us or said she would be with us shortly but instead just looked away. So I said "excuse me, I have a reservation also". She quickly asked for the name and we were seated right after that. This was the only thing that annoyed us. She sat us in the very back of the restaurant past the bar. We had a fantastic waitress; wish I could remember her name...excellent service! The shrimp bruschetta appetizer was great. Our meals were excellent. The waitress took note we were celebrating my sons 21st birthday and brought a dessert and four spoons!! So nice!
With the exception of the negative greeting at the door which can only be blamed on one person having a bad day, this place deserves a second visit.
Toscana's Restaurant is wonderful! We have experienced take-out and dining in and both are wonderful! Would definitely recommend this Restaurant. The employees are also very helpful and pleasant, which adds to the excellent overall dining in or take out experience.
Arrived at 11:20am on Saturday for an 1130am lunch before graduation. Only problem is they don't open until 12! Luckily they were setting up for a bridal shower, brought us in 40 minutes early. Server, Matt, was phenomenal and accommodating, made sure to get bread and salads out quickly while kitchen fired up. Food was great. Thanks to Matt and the folks at Toscana's my daughter made graduation on time, my 87 yr old MIL had great meal, and family harmony was maintained
I just want to say that the food was fabulous! The waiter was very attentive to all the needs of our guests. He did forget to serve the wine but when he realized he forgot he made sure that he compensated with wine and desert on the house. It was a graduation celebration with the family and everyone complimented on how tasty the food was!
Always great service. The staff is very attentive. The food is reasonably priced and tasty. The Tiramisu was great, it seemed more authentic than other restaurant's and it comes without the ladyfingers, which I prefer. I have had the veal and eggplant parmigiana with fettucini and both were great.
The food here is delicious - it's a cut above what the surroundings and casual decor might suggest. The burrata appetizer was wonderful: fresh, creamy local cheese served with prosciutto, tomatoes, arugula, and a lot of fresh basil. The bread was fresh and tasty, with an excellent texture. I ordered the Fusilli Campagnola, which was delightfully composed and plentiful, with tender chicken medallions, a light garlicky sauce, and lots of broccoli rabe. The housemade pasta is perfect. My companion ordered the Chickien Parmisiana, with the fusilli, and raved about the tomato sauce. We both enjoyed the tiramisu and cannoli for dessert. Our waitress was friendly and efficient and the regulars sitting next to us had nothing but praise for the whole operation. We would definitely return next time we're in the area.
Excellent dinner, excellent staff, very noisy! We had to wait about 15 minutes for our reserved table to be ready. The restaurant was very busy and seemed short on staff. We would have liked a seat at the bar while waiting or maybe the offer to get a drink to sip while waiting. It was congested in the small waiting area as servers entered and left the function room door which opened into the waiting area.
Unexpected surprise. Being Italian and having owned and operated family style Italian restaurants I can appreciate the real deal. Toscanos is the real deal. Great vibe, excellent service, and authentic and well prepared food at a fair value. Will certainly go again
Found this restaurant through a recommendation from Open Table and liked the menu. All four in party were very pleased with the quality of the meal. Can be a bit noisy at time but only goes to its popularity. Waitress was attentive, but distracted at times, otherwise service was great.
Would recommend and will likely return at some point in the future.
