Toscana's Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
I've had your food at the place I work on two occasions. It was catered and I thought it was great. I just had to try the restaurant and me and the five other people I went with all thought the food was great. Excellent service also and the prices are very reasonable. Plan to return soon.
Great server! We were seating within 5 minutes of our reservation. The food is consistently excellent. My cioppini was delicious and had such a large piece of very fresh haddock, I was moved to ask if they had enlarged their portions! Toscana never disappoints.
We had our work Christmas party here and it was the first time for most of us. It was excellent!! Food was great, portions were great, almost everyone took home a doggy bag and brought to work the next day for lunch! Service was great! Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!
I dined at Toscana’swith 4 friends. We had a really nice time. Our waitress was very good. She was attentive and helpful in choosing drinks and food. I had a side arugula salad to start which was good. For my dinner, I had a special which was cod over roasted squash served with asparagus. It came with a lobster orange ver blanc sauce which I had on the side. It was delicious, so many flavors! Everyone was happy with their meals which were big portions. I would recommend Toscana’s to anyone!
Toscana's was a delightful dining refuge for two couples on a snowy Saturday night. Our server was attentive, informed and pleasant. The entrees--two specials and two from the menu--were excellent, and ample enough for three of us to bring home lunch for a future day. We had an early table, but the dining room was full when we left despite the moderate snow outside. We have enjoyed Toscana's for many years; not frequently enough to be "regulars, " but often enough to watch it continue to consistently provide great food, quality service and a pleasant atmosphere. Needless to say, we will return.
Fabulous Italian food! Everything from appetizer to dessert, including fresh, crusty bread was spot-on flavor, prepared very well in generous portions, with all being house-made. A variety of house-made pastas and sauces and creative specials also. Smaller portions available for most dishes. Cocktails were large and authentic. We loved all of it. Service was excellent.
Ambience and decor could use a bit more zip, but nothing major....couldn't detract from the wonderful food. We will go back often.
We were celebrating our anniversary. Thoroughly enjoyed our dinners of Fruite de Mare with home made Fussili and Veal Scallapini with Gnocchi! The delicious, warm home-made bread with seasoned olive oil hit the spot. Since we were so full, for dessert we ordered and shared 1 delicious and light Teramasu. Our server, Diane was so helpful and attentive!
Food was delicious and true Italian, and came in massive quantities. We were seated near two large parties who got a bit noisy, so conversation got more difficult as their alcohol intake increased. Service was fantastic until the end- we were going to get coffee and dessert, but our waitperson seemed to disappear for 20 minutes.
I was disappointed because on my reservation I stated we were celebrating a 90th birthday. I reiterated this upon entering and also to our waitress. NOT one person said happy birthday to the 90 year old! Most restaurants would have picked up on this wonderful occasion and probably brought him a dessert!
This was a special occasion and I messed up the number of people. I put 2 and we were 6. some of my family had been there without me earlier in the week and loved it. So we chose tis for my special birthday. When the mistake was realized they went above and beyond on to seat our party and the did. I ordered the special, which was a Lobster Risotto with a butternut squash base that was one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. And to top it off, because they knew it was my birthday and they recognized my family from the other day, the presented us with the most scrumptious desserts. This is one of the best restaurants on the North Shore of Boston and worth every reasonable amount that it costs. Thank you Toscana's.
