As always, solid Italian food served hot by a professional staff.
Loved the bowl of carrots, celery and crisp radishes on the table when we sat down. Such a great idea. Ordered calamari but it was really chewy so they took it back.. instead we ordered the arugula and parm salad, great choice. My husband had the veal chop. It was his best ever, cooked perfectly. I had penne rigate which was delicious. My nephew has the pizza with prosciutto, excellent. Service was superb. It was a wonderful meal and experience. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.
we had a delicious dinner before going to a concert.
The food was excellent however the service was questionable...I was with a friend from NY and
really wanted the evening to be special...We were offered little...no appetizers...no wine selection other than what we ordered by the glass...no desert...and 4 different times we were approached to remove our plates while we were still eating...The food was wonderful but it was
almost as if they really really wanted our table and quickly...Maybe they don't like customers who reserve thru Open Table?
I have been coming to Toscana for decades, and it never fails to meet my expectations. The staff is attentive, the food is always perfect, and the desserts are delicious. I never feel rushed when I dine there (but I also make sure that I don't linger too long, so that others can get in and get seated!) A little pricey, but worth the money!
Toscana is consistently good. It is my "go-to" local restaurant...Convenient, courteous parking which is a must...food excellent. Service from management and staff excellent. I can't recommend it highly enough. I'm always ready to schedule lunch or dinner at Toscana
We will come back.
Great food! Great service!
The place is loud though
16 years and NOT one single bad meal or a day the service was other then terrific. Love the food , eating at the bar is a great timesaver and drinks next door at their Bar is a nice touch.
Not much of a wine person but have loved the selection and what they have in glass when the occasion called as well
I had a great dining experience at Toscana. I really enjoyed our server and the quality of food. Thank you again for making my experience really enjoyable. I will be back
Great as always - don't miss the homemade pasta at Toscana!
All Good loved the black truffles and mushroom pasta
This restaurant is one of my favorites. Love this place!
Ottimo! Best Italian restaurant in LA. Have been coming here since they opened 28 years ago.
I love this place. A neighborhood treasure. Never had a bad meal. Ever.
Service was poor. The waiter forgot our pizza but was kind enough to comp it after I told him he forgot it when our main courses came. He then digit our roasted potato order and a salad. We got the salad but didn’t ever get the potatoes but it was charged for. This place is a staple for me but I sometimes feel they think they are doing me a favor instead of realizing the value of a regular customer. Lately they have lost that living feeling.
Toscana just gets better and better. I've been going g often and like it more each time. Yesterday with good friends who had never been to Toscana. Oliver great service. He has a real understanding of th menu. He made good recommendations for everyone and handled the meal perfectly.
I'll go back soon again. Toscana is a neighborhood gem!!
Everything was fabulous! The food, service, atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!
I love Toscana but have found it hard to get onto for good reason. I celebrated my birthday with a friend who likes to eat early. It was perfect as usual.
The place had no ambience at all. The staff was scrambling to get tables together. They were laughing with each other and were very loud. The tables are tiny and the place is super bright. The food was good but a very limited menu. First time i’Ve ever been disappointed in the reviews for a place. This was so off, I will make sure I never go back there.
great food, try the spicy seafood pasta in tomato sauce!
The more I go to Toscana the more I like it. This was a get together with a friend/client I had not seen in years. She drove all the way from Long Beach. The weather was awful. Toscana perfect for a rainy daylong lunch and good talk. We each had pasta--delicious. Service perfect. Lunch much more quiet than dinner when there are too many tables with kids, but still like Toscana.
This is my go to lunch place now that Bouchon Beverly Hills is gone. And it is closer to home. Win-Win.
Real Italian food, not drowning in sauce. Fresh fish. Italian speaking waiters. You are made to feel at home.
Had an early supper on New Years Eve, service was excellent. I liked that they allowed wine tasting even for a glass of wine order. Having been to Tuscany I felt the food was authentic to the region. Overall good food and service so I will return. The restaurant is in a nondescript building so minimal wow factor from the outside.
So disappointing. 15 minute wait even with reservation. Food mediocre when in past it has been great. Service still very good. Too expensive for quality of meal. Won’t go back. Maybe it was just an off night.
Mark, Robbie, and Sophia are Great. They make the dining experience amazing! Best place in town.
Consistently outstanding food and service. A real Brentwood gem!
The white truffle dishes are spectacular. Very good food and great staff.
Went there for special occasion. They had fresh white truffles, which was awesome. Always excellent.
A terrific meal, with wonderful food and excellent service. Service was professional, courteous, prompt and unobtrusive. The food was simple and superb - well prepared and great ingredients. The atmosphere was warm and friendly and welcoming. A perfect evening.
Service was great.
Food was disgusting. Service was average at best - staff is rude and entitled.
Service busy but not attentive. Almost impossible to get water refilled (yes, we had a bottle of wine as well, but it is Southern California where you can't be without your water). Bit of a rush getting plates off the table as soon as last bite gone. Wine steward did not listen when we said didn't need a wine cooler because the wine was right temperature - he was looking around the room as if we didn't exist. The tomato, onion and cucumber salad was remarkably tasteless, in large part because the tomatoes were industrial strength- not farmers market- and not even appropriately cored. Other dishes OK, but didn't stand out. Not a bad meal, but not one to make one rush back, for sure.
excellent overall with great service and food. I recommend it to all
The overall experience was fantastic! Food was delicious and service was great. Will definitely be back!
Toscana is neighborhood for us. Emilio the waiter is tops. Sophia, the hostess is delightful. Everything is excellent. We'd come back more often but have trouble with getting free own day nights and Toscana is too busy on the weekend.
Love the place.
Great lunch. Mark is an excellent server who went over and above. Their tiramisu is dangerous!
Great dinner and service . Max was our waiter.
Kitchen is working well. Halibut was excellent.
