View Private Dining DetailsThey did not have our reservation on file but they were very accommodating. Food was great
I love coming here with my family. Very cozy and comfortable
Friend's birthday. Tiara was our waitress and she was Outstanding!
Food was good, only thing was the staff seemed a little impersonal, we just left and I don't even remember my waitresses name because it was never mentioned. Everyone kind of looked like robots...
Food was good tho nothing special. Tables too close together. Extremely noisy with loud music we had to shout over. This was a Saturday night. May be less noisy during the week.
Wonderful evening. Excellent food and outstanding service.
Tosca is always a hit! Good food, nice atmosphere and great staff.
Tosca never disappoints. We seated right away and were attended to very quickly. The apps and entrees were great.
I love going to Tosca's when I have a chance, I enjoyed every bit of this dinner I went with my family to celebrate my birthday and everything was perfect. the only negative thing I would have to say was the reservation process. I had a confirmation for 8:45 pm and when I got to Tosca's they had on their end 7:30p. In the end we still had a great table and service.
The blonde waitress had an attitude the whole time and was absolutely horrendous and everyone in my party agreed. We were there to celebrate my wedding lunch with my family and her attitude was uncalled for and inappropriate. However the other waitress with the bun in her hair was wonderful and we are thankful she was also there to keep an eye on us.
Tosca it good. Food that day was okay we had no complaints. This is not my first time going there been there many many times and I always thought the food was good but be prepared going on a friday, saturday night... very noisey and service is long.
Unfortunately , Tosca is not what it used to be. I haven't been there in about 4 years .
I enjoyed the dining atmosphere and service. I usually go for brunch which is excellent. Though my choices were limited because I am vegan, the food that was prepared was well seasoned and very tasty. There are a lot more vegan selections at brunch and I will probably go then for my next visit. Great overall experience.
Our server was a bit laxed in follow up but the food and drinks are always great so that makes up for the lack of attention that we received.
Family gathering to celebrate my daughters graduation from High School. Mustafa our waiter helped make it a meaningful and memorable evening.
Awesome food!!!!!!
Great food! Great aesthetic and vibe!
I WOULD REFER ANYONE TO THIS RESTAURANT. THEY HAVE GREAT FOOD AND GREAT DELIVERY SERVICE.
Worst service ever! Bad food expensive. Orders came out at different time no dessert served to 3 people. mADE RESERVATION 1 MONTH IN ADVANCE NO TABLE READY FOR US Manager walked around doing nothing
Ambiance was great!
My friends and I came for dinner and were very impressed on all levels, food, service and value. Would definitely recommend to all my friends. We will back.
Short and quick....if you are a wine or sangria drinker, the red sangria is really, really good. Half of my reason for going to Tosca. The other half of the reason of the coal oven pizza, that is always think and crispy....can't go wrong if you like a nice thin crusted pizza. Always a nice crowd there, good for date night, hanging with the homies, or just enjoying family night.
The venue at Tosca is nothing more than relaxing under dim light with great port and delicious fare. The wait staff is attentive without being annoying, their timing is just right. The many variations of food open the palate for return trips. A definite must if in The Bronx!
My first time back to Tosca in several years (moved out of area ). It was even better than I remembered. Very good service. Creative and delicious food with excellent presentation.
I visited Tosca's Cafe on Christmas Day because it was my sister's birthday, at first I was a little hesitant about making the reservation fearing a large crowd and poor service.however when I got there I noticed that although the place was pretty busy the service was attentive and friendly. the food took a little time to come out ,which is understandable because it Was Christmas Day but was excellent and fresh. its Stephanie an environment where I would go back with my friends for brunch or nice night out for some drinks.
Myself and a group of co workers went to Tosca for our holiday lunch and no one was disappointed. From fish to steak to pasta, every dish was delicious as usual.
I brought my sister for the first time .We had a great time but I recommend people to get early to the brunch. The food is always great and the drinks. Nice environment to spend time with friends!
Mussels were extremely fishy, veal was chewy
In previous years went to Tosca quite often. Just returned and was very disappointed with the food. Was not what it was before. Friends that I brought along were not impressed after I raved about it. On a positive note, the service was good, staff very courteous and friendly, the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated and had nice outdoor seating. The food on the other hand was not what I remembered --- sad to say. I hope they make improvements.
Horrible service , horrible food ! Will never return !!!
Great atmosphere, and delicious brunch buffet! I brought in a NBA basketball players parents Rod Strickland and they were in love with the place. Great customer service.
Not a good experience, I celebrated my marriage with just a (12) group of people and I wish I hadn't :-( server did not make our time there enjoyable she was busy on her phone and talking to fellow
co-workers.
I took my family to celebrate my daughter's birthday. She was very happy about the service and the ambiance of the restaurant.
Overall, a very disappointing experience. First of all, I had made a reservation through Open Table specifically letting them know we were a party of 10 plus one infant coming. When we got there, the hostess said our reservation was not in the system and proceeded to seat us at a table near the bar despite there being 5 children aged 10 and under.
Our appetizers came out cold and the entrees were below average compared to what we are accustomed to at Tosca.
While our waitress (Raquel) was friendly and attentive and provided good service overall, it took a very long tine for us to get the check after we had finished dessert.
Amazing experience, excellent food, great music...definitely will be going back soon!
For a great local spot to enjoy with close ones. This is an amazing option. Food and ambiance is good.
I grew up in the Bronx and came back home. I wanted to try a new location and Tosca's came up so I tried it. I typically go to the Pines (F&J) or to Authur ave. Toscas service was very poor and unorganized. The appertizers, salad and dinner all came out within 5 minutes of each other . I didn't even finish my appertizer when the salad came out. The main dish came out before I could even eat the salad. The waiters answer to me when I protested the food coming out too fast was to leave it on the empty table next to me. It was totally unacceptable for the waitor to do what he did especially when the buffet was over and the early dinner crowd didn't come in yet. There were several waiters standing around doing nothing. I would never go back or reccomend the place. I especially went after the buffet so I could try ordering off the menu.
Upon arrival I was informed that the restaurant did not have a reservation on file for me. They were able to accommodate my group due to the fact that it was not crowded at the time of the day.
I was a very disappointed with my Entree'. I ordered the Lobster Ravioli. I was looking for perhaps lumps of Lobster but instead it was like a lobster puree. No lobster favor what-so-ever. Very bland in taste. Someone else in my party ordered Fettuchine Alfredo with grilled chicken. She recieved very little chicken and a bowl full of Fettucine noodles.
Our experience was good, but if not only for the fact that we could not enjoy ourselves because the restaurant inside temperature on a very cold day was even colder inside once our coats were off, so it was a bit too cold for my taste, will return once the weather warms up. Other than that food, ambience and wait staff was excellent.
Will definitely go back once the weathers improves..
