Located downtown inside InterContinental Miami, Toro Toro is celebrated chef/restaurateur Richard Sandoval’s creative Pan-Latin interpretation of a modern steakhouse. This sophisticated and sexy concept is modeled after Sandoval’s Dubai Toro Toro, which was named “Best Latin” and “Best New Restaurant” by Time Out. Celebrating 10 years, the restaurant’s selection of rodizio-style meats, along with an array of small plates, composed main-plates and a la carte steaks draws foodies while Toro Toro’s buzz-worthy bar, emphasizing Latin-inspired cocktails made with ultra-premium Latin spirits and a well-curated collection of fine wines from around the world, draws the cocktail crowd + infamous Sunday brunch.

                                                                                                          They need traditional American cocktail sauce for the oysters and boiled shrimp. The mignonette sauce and that hot red sauce for the boiled shrimp is nasty tasting. Also the food pans are not kept hot so the food is luke warm when you plate it but cold when you eat it. The desserts and seafood are the opposite. They are room temperature, yuck. The strawberry white chocolate fountain didn’t have enough agent in it to harden enough to the bland tasting fruit. Three adults ate for $405. They added the 18% tip themselves before I got the check. Do better for $405 for brunch for 3 people.

                                                                                                          For the past five years, my family and I have enjoyed Mother's Day brunch at Toro Toro—visiting about three times over that span. We’ve always appreciated the service, ambiance, and wide variety of food. Unfortunately, this year was a different experience. The restaurant opened at noon for the special brunch, but it took the hostess 15–20 minutes just to seat the three families ahead of us. This year, they closed off an entire section of the restaurant, which made the lines at food stations feel more cramped and caused the tables to be set uncomfortably close together. After we were seated, it took another 20 minutes before anyone came by to take our drink order. The servers seemed disorganized and were even arguing amongst themselves. At one point, I asked the hostess who our server was and why it was taking so long. We also noticed that several food items that had been available in previous years were missing, making the selection feel noticeably reduced. At the omelet station, only one staff member was working, and she became overwhelmed when her pan malfunctioned. She had to wait for someone to bring a replacement, further slowing down the line. Overall, we were disappointed with the changes in layout, the limited food options, and the decline in service—especially considering the $100 per person price tag.

                                                                                                          Where to start....we were greeted by a very nice lady and seated at our table. Then our server Edgar came over. He told us the favorites and the chef's recommendations; as well as his. The food was absolutely delicious; every single thing we ordered. The complimentary Columbian cheese bread...best I ever had. Guacamole and plantain chips, lomo soltado, skirt steak and Brussels sprouts. Then for desert we shared La Bomba....wow was that good. We were a party of 4...definitely recommend

Great suggestions and delivered on the reservation note I requested too. Ordered the arepas, ribeye, Mac and cheese and the La Bomba dessert! Super creative and unique! Thank you for the hospitality! Each dish was a work of art: perfectly balanced flavors, Oto's impeccable presentation, Yahaira's attention to detail which made the experience memorable.
