About Toro Toro

Located at 100 Chopin Plaza, Toro Toro is celebrated chef/restaurateur Richard Sandoval’s creative Pan-Latin interpretation of a contemporary steakhouse. This sophisticated and sexy concept is modeled after Sandoval’s Dubai Toro Toro, which was named “Best Latin” and “Best New Restaurant” by Time Out. The restaurant’s selection of meats, carved tableside rodizio-style, along with an array of small plates, composed main-plates and a la carte steaks draws foodies while Toro Toro’s buzz-worthy bar, emphasizing Latin-inspired cocktails made with ultra-premium Latin spirits and a well-curated collection of fine wines from around the world, draws the cocktail crowd.

My time at Toro Toro was amazing! Came back here after coming with a group for a birthday, this time for a date and I received great care and attention. The scallops are my favorite, the wine was great & Ruth was very pleasant! Would recommend!

By far the best lunch value in downtown Miami. Service is always phenomenal and their weekday lunch buffet has delicious staples as well as rotating daily dishes.

ToroToro is the lobby restaurant in the Intercontinental Hotel. We went Friday night and liked it so much that we went back Saturday night for a casual, relaxing meal. You can get tapas or full entrees. We liked the heirloom tomato and burrata salad so much we had it both nights. The empanadas were good, as well as the arroz, a latin variation of fried rice. Service is outstanding.

There aren't many good, walkable, casual restaurants to be found in the area. If you're staying at or near the Intercontinental, it's worth staying in for ToroToro.

Loved this place! The service was what won me over! There was a problem with our food so the chef felt that it wasn’t his best so he redid our meal and had appetizers and drinks on the house for waiting so long for our meal. They care about you unlike other restaurants. Food was amazing as well! We’ll definitely go again.

We went back the next night, if that's any indicator of how much we enjoyed ToroToro. The food is based on small plates with some large plates. My wife and I shared small plates both nights. The food and service were very good both nights. There aren't a lot of casual choices close to the Intercontinental. Staying in for ToroToro is easy and we were pleased with our experience.

We were tired from traveling so did not want to venture out. Toro Toro was in our hotel and it was just right. They had small tapas plates if you wanted something lighter or regular choices if you were hungrier. Food was very good as was the service.

My only concern is I presented 2 gift cards for $50.00 each and the manager would only accept one. Can someone answer me back with a valid reason and how you can get us to return for future engagements
Thank you

Stopped in for an awesome Thanksgiving day feast! Something completely out of the ordinary as compared to our traditional American Thanksgiving meal. Carlos and the entire wait staff took very good care of our party. Multiple layers of flavors unraveled as the various Pan American aperitifs arrived. The main course was Turkey Breast which was cooked to perfection by the chef. Followed by a bountiful dessert made up of 4 flavors which were a guava empanada, bread pudding, vanilla ice cream, and fruit sorbet. Truly a meal fit for a King!

My friends and I had a great dinner at this restaurant. Our server Matej guided us through the menu and helped us pick some of his favorite dishes. Definitely try the octopus and the crispy shrimp for appetizer.

Maybe its because we eat there often, be nice to see the menu change. The fresh juices are wonderful. The beef and chicken has way to much salt and not enjoyable. Servers are terrific

Really surprised about the Toro's Sunday brunch. It's not an indefinitely offering of brunch's classics, but more a selective, excellent prepared smaller goodies, smartly placed around the restaurant. Really excellent value for your dollar.
Slightly less positive, the loud music, which makes a conversation with friends quiet challenging...
A must place in Miami for your Sunday brunch

A restaurant of this category should definitely not be in the lobby of a hotel! Completely destroys the ambience. Having been at Toro Toro in Dubai, reason why we went to the Miami restaurant in the first place, there’s no comparison.

Just terrible. Chicken dish came out overcooked and luke warm. Second attempt about 20 minutes later was better, then a 20 minute wait for the dishes to be cleared. No value for money here, just stay away.

My husband and I were in Miami on vacation and had dinner at a great restaurant earlier in the night, but I wanted to take him to toro toro for there amazing Labomba dessert. We arrived later in the night just for dessert and coffee. Apparently, the waitress was not at all happy with us about just wanting dessert. She literally never smiled, barely spoke two words to us, slammed the coffee on the table almost spilling it, never offered refills on the water and gave us an 18% service charge. We weren't there but maybe 30 minutes, the dessert was amazing, but the service was rediculous. We were going to give her a bigger tip just for getting dessert (our bill was $35 by the way.. we weren't talking about $10) but since she put an 18% service charge for 2 people and threw a temper tantrum she got her 18% and that was it. It really put a damper on the experience and we won't be back again. Moral of the story.. don't go for a late night dessert!

No too good. Unfortunately the noise from the hotel's bar was too loud . The choices that you have for the Miami Spice menu are no too good . Don't go for the fish I couldn't eat it ! . Other people in my table had meat they said it was good . Nothing impress me that nigh . Service was mediocre . The place is average .
