Dylan is the best waiter ever!
The food tasted fine, but the portions were very small. The broccolini dish litteraly had three small stalks of broccoli. The tacos were probably the worst part. Each of the tacos had about 1/2 ounce of meat in them. Ordered a drink that was so watered down, we had to send it back. Service was not attentive...disappeared for long periods of time.
Waiter was nice but so busy that we didn’t see him for long periods of time.
And food wasn’t bad but average
Babies screaming in background for like two hours. Not restaurants fault but didn’t help our experience
Mojitos was tasty.
Amazing meal. Such a great place.
Best value in dc. $39 all u can eat tapas. Extra $20 for bottomless drinks?? You are crazy not to go! Oh yeah, and the food is delicious too!!
The service wasn't the best. We had to ask another waiter to refill our drink more than once since ours was nowhere to be found. Also, the buffet they stopped replenishing after 2:30 even though brunch ends at 4pm. The guacamole was excellent, other than that the food was not good and considering it is endless food, you would think they would at least try to continuously put out fresh food AT LEAST until 3:15/3:30. No! The mac and cheese was NOT good. Where was the cheese? I heard so many good things about the brunch at ToroToro, but was highly disappointed.
Food has really fallen off. Although the drinks kept coming it seems like they only put a splash of vodka in the lemonade....
Tapas were delicious. Drinks very good!
My husband loves tapas restaurants, so thought we would try this one out on our way to the Pink concert. $39 for all you can eat off the dinner menu (minus the Grill items - $10 add-on). Menu items range from $6 to $14 each, so $39 is a great price. If you want unlimited drinks (including alcoholic beverages, it's an additional $20. $20 for all you can drink. You order what you want, but then they still bring items you haven't had a chance to try. We actually had to tell them we were stuffed and to not bring any more food, even though it was delicious. I would definitely recommend and return to Toro Toro.
need to improve in service. people working there doesn't seem happy to be there or understand simple requests
Great place with a great crowd and ambiance. The restaurant has a lounge downstairs which had excellent music!
It was my birthday, i do wish the servers would have acknowledged it even with a candle or complementary dessert. They didn't, yet id specified on the reservation. It's not always that ur actual birthday falls on a saturday. I was clearly wearing a sash.It just woulda made the brunch extra special than any regular dining. Nyway other than that it was good.
We loved the food and the atmosphere, our waitress was super friendly. We had a reservation for 730, told a hostess that we were grabbing a drink to wait for our friends, but she never checked us in so our table was given away and we didn’t sit down until 45 minutes after our reservation time when we grabbed a seat at the bar instead. That was the only negative part of the evening, but the rest was great! The dishes are a little pricey for small plates, but still a very cool and enjoyable atmosphere.
My son was visiting from New York and so I decided to take him to my new favorite - Toro Toro. We had a wonderful evening and as usual, Toro Toro did not disappoint. We were stuffed to the gills but thankfully decided to try the La Bomba, a wonderful combination of cream cheese mousse, sorbet, ice cream, berries, chocolate crumbles and caramel and chocolate drizzle. It was wonderful!
Loved the food and the service. Drinks were a bit watered down. Would have no problem recommending with those caveats
Great food and service.
Needs a better wine selection.
This used to be one of my favorite places to brunch - it's gone down hill. The buffet was tiny and not worth $39. The food that was available was lackluster. Advertised on menu that they had a made to order guacamole bar - it ended up being a bowl of runny guac on the buffet. Won't be going back.
We did a tasting and were able to sample a number of different items on the menu. Thank goodness we did this because almost everything we ate was A+. I loved the entire experience and would come back here next time we’re in town
Express lunch is fantastic. I could come daily. Great service.
Nice place. Service from the bar tender was outstanding
Great food and the staff was awesome - perfect for a group, chill place with good food and drinks. Totally worth a visit.
Went here with a party of 8 for my birthday. Table ordered the special for unlimited plates and drinks (around $70 PP). It was well worth it, the food was delicious we ate almost everything on the menu. Our waitress was very kind, courteous and the manager checked up on us from time to time. I would definitely recommend this restaurant .
Side note: Plates were small for this special but you could order as many as you want. Dishes were vibrant and tasty. Nice relaxing ambiance.
Haven't been in a few months. Was disappointed by the reduced food selection at brunch for additional seating. The values has decreased. However, the service was awesome and the bottomless drink option is still worth it! Our server never allowed us to have an empty glass all the way to last call.
I wouldn’t do brunch here again.
Really a nice place. Great for after work with a crowd.
Some of the best tapas anywhere and the greatest servers and staff.
Menu has very few gluten-free options. Not recommended for those with Celiac disease.
We had party of 8 to celebrate my sister’s bachelorette party! The food was delicious, the bar was outstanding and the atmosphere was amazing, just slightly noisy! However I will recommend Toro Toro again and I will visit again!
I was having lunch with a colleague after a morning-long meeting. We decided to try Toro Toro because we like to visit places that neither of us has been before. We decided to go with the lunch special that included all of the small plates on the menu for $19. We chose a few items and then our server suggested even more. We had everything from beef skewers to brussel sprouts and everything was delicious. I asked about the weekend brunch and found out they have a buffet and a bottomless mimosa bar! I will be back when I have more time to over-indulge!
Absolutely loved the food. Did the all inclusive small plates and really enjoyed everything. Plus our server was entertaining and very helpful. Would definitely come back.
Music from the club below made it a little difficult to talk at the table but otherwise we very much enjoyed our evening
Great variety and good value from an all-you-can-eat-to-order menu. Full points for flavor, freshness, and fun. And the servers were helpful and responsive. Loved everything.
Food & service were exceptional as always. Thank you Dillan!
Music far too loud. :(
The food was good and pretty much made up for the service, which was incredibly friendly but inattentive nonetheless.
Food was great, service was great. Can’t beat it.
The service was absolutely fantastic with an attentive staff handling our orders and refilling our drinks. He made a booboo on the initial check but immediately told us and fixed it with a new receipt before we even signed. Food was great and a good size for 2 ladies. Drinks were sweet but paired with the food nicely.
I’ll be back again on many other occasions!
Fantastic service and food. Don’t try doing the math just get the all you can eat special and enjoy all the fantastic choices.
Nice spot for dinner, great ambiance, music was a little too loud for having convo. Food service was good but there was always a delay on refilling drinks. We seemed to have two waitresses assigned and there was a disconnect between them as to who was to check in on our status. Fix those couple issues and Toro will be aces. Look forward to coming back
