Meats were cooked perfectly, but lacked seasoning. Service was slow. The beet salad was really good. The scallops were overcooked but flavor was good. Deserts were very creative.
Been here multiple times and it’s one of my favorite spots. We cane for a birthday, however, and they did nothing for the birthday to make it special.
Great brunch spot!
Food was great! Loved it!
Steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Truffle fries outstanding
Great food, especially if looking to share some plates among friends and family. It’s a very varied menu and the drinks are high end. M one complaint is that even when it’s not busy, the staff has been trying to get us out the door quickly, so too much being asked “have you had a chance to figure out what you want” which gets annoying when trying to socialize and takes from it being a welcoming environment.
Restaurant in overall is really nice, my waitress was very friendly and understanding. Food wise I order steak for my mom and mother in law and I had to return it because was complete burn. For mine I asked medium well cook and it was complete full cook and it tasted burn as well. I will recommended the lomo saltado empanadas that was really good and la bomba dessert but my entrees were very bad especially that the restaurant is a steakhouse and very expensive.
Don’t sit at the high tops they seem to be a challenge for the wait staff most of which are too busy chatting at the bar
coming back as soon as i can! service was incredible, so clean, so tasty, great place
Excellent service, food and ambiance! The “La Bamba” dessert was the best dessert ever!
Omg this place is amazing. I booked this place for my birthday brunch and it met all of my expectations. The food was great and the scenery was awesome. Thank You toro toro for a amazing birthday brunch!
The food is 5 stars! Delicious yum! Many choices, to choose from. Combinations of salads, mango and beets, arugula and peach, quinoa with golden raisins, fara with feta cheese..., Spanish rice, delicious well seasoned proteins... and the desserts did not disappoint! Endless Mimosas if you’re into drinking. The servers kept the Mimosas flowing! I had to ask to have my glass water refilled.
The restaurant is dimly lit, romantic untit the customers flow in and it’s endless and overwhelming chatter so much so that I could not hear my friend speaking to me. Something should be done to absorb all that noise.
There was a female DJ who played only Spanish songs, while dancing and recording herself! It seems only appropriate to have the DJ play an international playlist that would be more inclusive since hotel Intercontinental serves an international clientele as well as local customers.
Finally, the noise level and the DJ’s lack of insight on playing to all customers present were two of the most negatives on an otherwise 5 star dining experience. I’m hopeful that these conditions will be addressed and corrected.
Birthday dinner with family and friends.
The waitstaff and front of the house were great. We were seated promptly after we arrived. The pan fried scallops were perfect. I had a 30 day dry aged ribeye with lobster Mac and cheese. Both well seasoned and grilled to medium rare perfection. My wife’s chicken dish was equally spot on. We ended the evening with the house desert of berries and ice cream. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Miami.
Delicious food and possibly the best service I have ever experienced. If you’re a meat lover this place is for you
Food too expensive for what they offer. Don’t like the meat
Dinner was amazing. Food and service was exceptional. Loved the intimate setting.
Amazing steak and desserts
Carlos was our server and did an amazing job. Was very knowledgeable and attentive. Food was amazing and the dessert was a perfect finish.
Girls trip and friend birthday
You have to try their specialty drinks especially the encierro. Out of this world flavor and presentation. Phenomenal chef everything was perfection. I will definitely make it a habit to visit this restaurant every time I’m in Miami.
Phenomenal food, service, and atmosphere. My husband and I were long overdue for a date night and were definitely WOWed! Georgina was our server and she was nothing but pleasant and anticipatory. She truly created a perfect experience, along with the delicious recommendation of food. Perfect temperatures, taste, and appeal. Great job Toro Toro team!
nothing bet the best every single dish was delicious! The 30 day age rib eye was orgasmic. the pork belly was perfectly cooked. la bomba for dessert is just to much.. so many flavors wao. a must for everyone
Good food and service
Excelente me encanta es algo familiar y excelente servicio
Sunday brunch with family was amazing! From the attention we received from Georgina, then the combinations on the salad bar, seafood and sushi stations to the delicious desserts and banana foster station all was absolutely delicious! Can’t wait to be back...
Top notch food ! Delicious appetizers especially the one with Short rib and my favorite was the Chicharrón de Camarones ... absolutely amazing. Drinks variety is great! If you visit Miami you have to try Toro Toro... Not a typical Hotel Restaurant!
Great Service! Excellent food! Delicious dessert! We loved it!
Food was amazing! Weird spot in the hotel and was a bit noisy, but can’t really complain about anything as it was so good! Def recommend!
Muy buen servicio de los que trabajan ahí
My experience was great at Toro Toro! I am very satisfied with the food , service , my waiter Andre , and the ambiance of the restaurant and hotel. I loved that my 12 guest table was ready to go when I arrived and the birthday dessert spectacle was amazing, VERY SATISFIED! Definitely will go back for brunch and dinner
Food was great, service was good. The problem, at the bar, they had techno music blaring and a awful electronic violinist trying to be entertaining, she was awful. It was literally like listening to fingernails on a chalk board. Very very loud, I had to wait for a pause in the shrieking so my server could hear my order.
You can get better value for your money elsewhere. I will not go back.
Lunch was so good, we came back for dinner same day. Excellent selection of Spanish wines.
Yassine, our server, was lovely. The food was incredible. So pleased will definitely come again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal in Miami.
We eat here every winter and always enjoy it!
We also always enjoy the bomba for dessert
SO much food! Amazing brunch - everything was fresh and delicious. Oysters, shrimp, eggs, meats, salads, desserts, mimosas, bloody Marys. Not too crowded or loud and the service was excellent. The only complaint is that we all over ate but after brunch you can walk it off around beautiful Bayfront park. Will definitely go back.
I went to Toro Toro for a brunch and it was very disappointing.
It cost 55 dlrs per person which is ok for that kind of venue.
There is a DJ playing all kind of music but very loud, which make very difficult to have a conversation with your partner or family members.
The food was just ok, there was not a fruit station, there was not an omelet station, there was not a juice station, there was not a big variety of food as far as a brunch in a 5 stars hotel should be.
I will not go back to this place for brunch and I don’t recommend it either for brunch.
Fantastic for a birthday Sunday celebration. I enjoy it everytime.
The food was spectacular and the service was amazing. Our waiter Orlando was so attentive and professional. He was quick to get our food and made sure that our drinks were refilled. He was so pleasing to all of our request. It was a great night to celebrate.
Dry aged steak was amazing. I would recommend you get the steak one temperature level less that you would normally get. If you like medium, order your steak medium rare. Reason being, is your steak is served on a sizzling skillet which continues to cook it after it’s on the table. I ordered medium but was medium well. By the time I finished eating it. The bar is nice as well. Would eat there again
