Yassine, our server, was lovely. The food was incredible. So pleased will definitely come again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal in Miami.
We eat here every winter and always enjoy it!
We also always enjoy the bomba for dessert
SO much food! Amazing brunch - everything was fresh and delicious. Oysters, shrimp, eggs, meats, salads, desserts, mimosas, bloody Marys. Not too crowded or loud and the service was excellent. The only complaint is that we all over ate but after brunch you can walk it off around beautiful Bayfront park. Will definitely go back.
I went to Toro Toro for a brunch and it was very disappointing.
It cost 55 dlrs per person which is ok for that kind of venue.
There is a DJ playing all kind of music but very loud, which make very difficult to have a conversation with your partner or family members.
The food was just ok, there was not a fruit station, there was not an omelet station, there was not a juice station, there was not a big variety of food as far as a brunch in a 5 stars hotel should be.
I will not go back to this place for brunch and I don’t recommend it either for brunch.
Fantastic for a birthday Sunday celebration. I enjoy it everytime.
The food was spectacular and the service was amazing. Our waiter Orlando was so attentive and professional. He was quick to get our food and made sure that our drinks were refilled. He was so pleasing to all of our request. It was a great night to celebrate.
Dry aged steak was amazing. I would recommend you get the steak one temperature level less that you would normally get. If you like medium, order your steak medium rare. Reason being, is your steak is served on a sizzling skillet which continues to cook it after it’s on the table. I ordered medium but was medium well. By the time I finished eating it. The bar is nice as well. Would eat there again
Great food, the tacos were amazing, tuna tataki also great, but the best part was the steak. Ambiance is upbeat and trendy. Great for date night. Service great too. Only small complaint was the lighting, it’s very dim, I had to use my flashlight to read the menu lol. Will def be returning.
they use a lot of sugar in the preparation of food and drinks
The place has delightful food, the place is gorgeous and romantic.
I first went to Toro Toro in DC in 2014 and the food was phenomenal ... went back there in 2015 and food was not as good and very noisy...
Wanted to try the Miami one and food, ambiance and service were really good. I would recommend even if prices could be a bit better for some small bites!
great atmosphere although a little dark xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Went to Toro Toro for Sunday brunch. The buffet was very diverse! There was something for everyone. Salads, meat, fish, breakfast, and desserts! The service was great too! Our bottomless drinks kept coming out fast!
Great service but the food was inconsistent
great place for brunch celebration, everybody enjoyed it, very happy of choice made with Toro Toro.
Good service. Waitress was very helpful with menu suggestions. The food was good.
Food and service was awesome, we even got La bomba the desset free, courtesy of the manager. Thanks for the great experience.
The Service was outstanding but the food was far from decent..Need to work on the quality of the food.
Staying in the hotel, and we often avoid hotel-based restaurants, but I am glad we tried Toro Toro. Really great steaks and apps, had an aged N.Y. Strip and Lomo Saltado Empanadas and Chicken Chorizo Croquettes. I found the steak on par with the usual suspect chain steakhouses like Ruth’s Chris or The Palm. The Brussel’s Sprouts are not to be missed. A complimentary cheese bread and salsa was a surprising treat. Finished up with the Torrejas Sopaipilla dessert, three perfect little pastries with an incredible creamy honey drizzle. Also, very good dessert wine selection, not just Port, but Sherry, Madeira, Malbec, Icewine, etc. Again, nice little surprise. Our waitress, Georgina, provided both excellent and attentive service, but also great suggestions.
My mom and I are frequent cruisers and stay at the Intercontinental Hotel in Miami for piece of mind, comfort, convenience, and proximity to the Port. We love the classy atmosphere of Toro Toro and have been eating here for dinner since our initial visit in 2015. The menu has changed slightly over the past 4 years, but each dish has always been freshly prepared, so it’s not a deal breaker. We always manage to find something on the menu that appeals to us. We also receive consistent quality and attentive service.
Last night, we were promptly greeted by the host and were seated in a quiet corner of the restaurant. It was 6pm on a Sunday night and although I probably didn’t need a reservation, I made one anyway through OpenTable. If you want to try this place, I recommend researching what events are going on in town that day and make a reservation ahead of time.
Georgina is an absolutely delightful waitress who made suggestions on what to order. We ordered two Tres Palmas Specialty Cocktails which she brought with Cheese Bread. I forgot to ask her what type it was, but I can only assume it is Brazilian Cheese Bread (Pao de Queijo). Again, I may be wrong.
We continued with Choclo Enpanadas (which are filled with Corn and Mozzarella and served with a Chimichurri Sauce). My mom ordered the Charcoal Adobo Chicken (not pictured) and served with Cilantro Rice and Scallions. I ordered the Ceviche Nikkei and Seasonal Cheese & Charcuterie Board. All excellent choices. I don’t think you can go wrong with just about anything on the menu here.
What continues to impress me about this place is the taste and the quality of food and the way the food is presented. Don’t expect an inexpensive bill. If you’re on a budget, this isn’t the place for you. Looking forward to our next visit in a few weeks.
Toro Toro at the Miami Intercontinental hotel is an amazing spot. The service and the food is impeccable. Sunday Brunch is a must do...
Excellent, nice place to meet for lunch and food was very good.
Everyone enjoyed it
It was awesome food and service, but a little dark inside. It was very hard to read the menu.
The food was absolutely fantastic and the service and atmosphere were great.
Great experience and the food was delish
The quality of meet is good, but the preparation is just below average. I’ve given this place 3 tries and it ether overlooked or over seasoned or fire burned.
Really overpriced for the food I received. The tostones appetizers were hard and the for 65$ per person I expected a better steak, not something that was all fat.
It was my birthday, I booked a table for February 14, two weeks in advance, I invited my family and friends, I was already in this restaurant and I really liked it. Only when we came to restaurant we see that they changed the menu for a special Valentine's Day, I do not understand why they did not warn in advance. It was terrible, everything was tasteless, I was with invited people, we could not leave. We came to eat delicious steaks, which in the end was not on the menu. The service was terrible, very slow, I was very ashamed in front of friends.
In the end I saw in check they put 20% tip that did not deserve, I did not want to leave anything at all. And the tax of 7% was calculated on food and on tips also, they had no right to do it, it is illegal! They cheat people !! After all that We were got a piece of paper for a free parking lot with a restaurant stamp, spent 20 minutes of hard conversation with a parking attendant who wanted us to pay $ 30 and he didn’t know anything about free parking! Horrible place, the evening was spoiled !!
Love love love this place, amazing food, great ambiance and excellent service. Thank you Richard for the fabulous hospitality!!!
Pricey ... tricky.
Made reservations but They ONLY had their menu
2 person 275.00. 😒
Place is very nice but I wasn't impressed with the food.
Best ribeye I’ve had in years.
My father is in Miami visiting so decided to show him around some hot spots in Miami. This came up as one of them. The food was great, the quinoa salad, octopus steak was a bit bland but still no complaint. Service however was terrible, we sat for 2 hours before getting food and we were barely acknowledged by our server.
As expected from Richard Sandoval cuisine, delicious Food, I loved the menu
The place is quite noisy though
Very noisy and poorly lighted. Hard to even read the menus. Very slow service, though the servers were pleasant. I couldn’t even see the bill yo sign it. Little did I know that they had already included an 18% gratuity on a party of four; unheard off and unusual. So bad service ended up with 38% tip. They should tell customers of this practice as it was not posted anywhere. I personally wouldn’t go back for a third time. Most embarrassing of all is that I was entertaining.
Excellent food and service!!
Better every time!
Had the buffet and it was overpriced for the food offering. Every item were missing or unavailable.
Food was ok.
