We ate here while at the Pumpkin Nights event at the hotel. The experience was incredible. The food was delicious and it came pretty quickly! We recommend the fried rice as it was our favorite thing on the menu by far!
Our server was great and the view of the golf course was really nice
We love Toro!
However, I’m not sure how the bar manager didn’t catch they were out of Bloody Mary mix, Labor Day weekend, during brunch and a golf tournament!?
My family and I celebrated a birthday here and it was so much fun! La bomba is an awesome dessert!
We were in town after dropping off our youngest at ERAU. I scheduled my hubby to play the stadium course and we decided to have a lunch date before. I was a little skeptical because of the limited menu but it did not disappoint! I had the “crispy wings” which were six huge wings in an Asian bbq sauce...amazing and could be a full meal for one person. My husband had the club with fries...another great meal. On top is the wonderful food, the service was fantastic AND you get to sit on the 18th green. A must for anybody!
Just ok food. Overpriced for type of quality.
I'm going to start by saying we really had high hopes for this experience. The menu sounded really great and it seem like a perfect place to celebrate a birthday.
We were seated with a window view as requested unfortunately our view was mostly of a deconstructed patio with taped paper coverings. Not sure if they're refinishing it or what exactly is going on but it wasn't the atmosphere we had hoped for.
The menu was greatly abbreviated from what we had seen online /understandable under the current circumstances. That would've been fine except that the menu was so uninspired there wasn't a single dish that sounded like something we really wanted to eat.
We were hoping there might be a special or two but our server said there weren't any so we put in our orders . I asked to remove the pork belly from the scallops & my fiancéi ordered a steak.
It took so long to get our meal that when I did receive the scallops the server couldn't even remember who ordered what. Mind you there are two people one is a female one is a male and there are two very different entrées heres. The scallops were cold the polenta was immobile it has definitely arrived cold & the polenta they were bedded on was immobile definitely sitting for quite some time before being brought out. The steak was cold and just OK.
We were really excited to try La Bamba dessert and everyone has raved about it so we decided to just go ahead and get it that did not disappoint it was utterly fantastic and we highly recommend it. The server covered the table partially with paper and then throws the desert on the table and pours warm caramel and raspberry sauce is over it absolutely delicious. The best dessert we have ever had anywhere!
Our server either had the worst aim on the planet or they need to cover the entire table because half the desert ended up on the portion of the table she did not cover and with Covid we weren't about to eat off an uncovered surface. We lost a third of it
Always a fantastic meal and over the top service!
Great food with amazing dessert La Bomba was fun !
We loved everything! Especially the Hawaiian Mai Tais!!
We ate at Toro for the first time on Friday. We had a lovely view of the golf course and got to see a few golfers playing before the sunset. The service was impeccable and the food divine. We plan on returning soon.
Great sushi rolls, drinks, and service!
Perhaps it would have been a great experience although we would not know because it was closed OpenTable gave us a reservation and the restaurant was closed
I don't know if we hit this on a bad night or what but there were young kids EVERYWHERE the night we went and with social distancing in full effect right now we were a little uncomfortable with how out of control the dining room was. Parents letting their young children run all over the restaurant and the restaurant staff not seeming to care that that did encroach on other's personal space. Food was good - but I can't say we were overwhelmed, but then again it was hard to enjoy the food with the ambiance being so unsettling.
Awesome food, brunch is our favorite; Adrian is one of the best servers we have ever had. Love this place!
Had dinner on the 4th of July. This was our first dinner in a resteraunt since the Covid 19 shut doiwn everthing. We were of course a little apprehensive but it was time to get out. Having dined here numerous times over the years we felt that they would be following CDC Guidelines. We arrived wearing masks and upon entering the restaurant all of the staff had face masks so we began to feel at ease. We kept our masks on while walking through the restaurant until we were seated at our table outside that was comfortably spaced from the other tables around us. They gave us paper menus and brought our silverware wrapped in a napkin. The servers were all wearing masks as well and Hannah was extremely friendly. Enough of the safety measures. Our drinks and dinner were excellent as always. Great cocktails , sushi was amazing. Entrees of Scallops and Pork Bellies had great flavor and texture. Sea Bass couldn't have been prepared better. Sorry no room for desert. We highly recommend Toro with a great view of the 18th hole of the TPC Scottsdale if you eat outside on the patio.
The food was delicious. Our waiter kind of forgot about us for most of the night. Probably would have had desert but he never to ask until it was too late.
Hostess, Waitress were Outstanding, making the experience even better! Mojito and Kiki drink were refreshing and delicious!
The restaurant has a great view of the TPC 18th hole, the food has their own unique blends of taste!! Must experience the La Bomba Dessert!!
The Original Mai Tai was delicious, the sushi was beautifully presented and the entrees were not only delicious but unique and unexpected in their presentation, as well.
The Havana Roll was a favorite from the sushi choices. The salmon was tender and flavorful and the
What may be one of the best features of Toro, besides the delicious food is the staff. Each person we encountered this evening took a personal interest in our group and our dining experience. They truly love their job and their team and it was clear that their goal was to make us feel special and have an excellent experience.
Excellent food, very innovative. Service was as good as it gets. I will definately return.
Great service, amazing view and sushi was on point!
Absolutely one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to! Great food, service, and beautiful space. Went two days in row...the food was that great!
Waiter was nice and attentive. Food was sub-par, and priced too high for taste and execution.
Server was absolutely great! But our table was dirty crumbles and dead bugs when we sat down. Had to clean it off myself. And a couple flies buzzing around us as we ate. Ick.
Over rated and very expensive drinks with a horrible wine selection.
Ive had better wine at my moms assisted living .
Salmon dish was so boring , no condiments for dry tortillas, no imagination .
Great views and service. Quality of food is wonderful.
Our first time at Toro since it reopened post Covid, and we were disappointed that a couple of our favorite small plate choices were not on the abbreviated menu, but we enjoyed what we had. We thought the calamari were among the best around - a very pleasant surprise! And the corn empanadas are always a good choice. We shared the fried rice entree, and enjoyed it thoroughly - full of seafood with great taste and texture. Shared the Churros for dessert, and while they were excellent, would have really enjoyed a little bit of Mexican chocolate sauce on the side for dipping.
Really enjoyed the fried calamari. My scallops entree was good as well
Good food. Portions a little small. Good flavor. Ceviche was very good.
Limited menu except for sushi. Overpriced for food quality & portions. This is really a 19th hole restaurant with great views and nice service but I would not consider it fine dining as far as food. Short rib was beautifully presented but was very fatty, fried rice delicious but nothing special or upscale about fried rice.
We had a fabulous time celebrating a birthday at this restaurant. Excellent service and delicious food. I highly, highly recommend the La Bamba dessert! It is a must get!
Nice space with beautiful views of the TPC Scottsdale. We were there at night so couldn’t enjoy the sunset views, but would highly recommend. Salmon was amazing and the cheese empanada appetizer was also great. Great service and food. A little pricey for such a limited menu but would go again.
Food and service were Amazing! Hannah was our server again is and she is fabulous. She made us feel special and cared for!
Always a great restaurant to go to the wonderful food and great great great service.
Menu was a bit limited. Sushi was very good, as were the scallops.
Waited 30mins for a table past our reservation time.
Servers were great.
Food was ok. I had the $35 salmon. It was small and dry. Not so good.
House salad was good.
Likely won’t go again
Your not disinfecting tables after use
Love the Nachos! miss the La Bamba dessert, can’t wait for that to come back
Delicious sushi & fried rice plus fantastic ambiance & service. Definitely worth the trip!!!
