Always a great spot to come and enjoy good food with good friends. There aren't too many places in the city that do tapas well. This place is one.

Overpriced, but food was good. Typical "small plates" where every tiny bite costs an arm and a leg. Nothing special.

Place was a bit noisy in the front because of Sunday, the street is pedestrian on Sunday and people were playing music on the street and downstairs. We sat in the back terrace. It was a nice terrace.
I had calamari, which was nice and refreshing. Food was nothing to write home about, equally for the presentation. I wouldn't be going back, BUT at the same time I don't have anything bad to say. It was just a convenient spot for me and my friend to grab a quick bite.

The food and wine here is just fantastic, but it is a little telling that it was absolutely dead on 8:00 p.m. on a weekend night. Service was sloooooow, even by actual Spanish-in-Spain standards--empty water glasses, etc, but friendly. Two older ladies actually walked out, screaming at staff for flirting with one another instead of actually assisting customers.

Nice spot that captures slick Euro style and Kensington cache. Don't miss out on the little bar downstairs offering Chartreuse shots.

Service was impeccable. The wait staff really worked as a team and made us feel very comfortable. The squid special was cooked to perfection and delicious! The Papas Bravas are an indulgence worth trying. Would highly recommend this gem in Kensington Market!!!

I love the food and the place was perfect for Valentine's Day. Very small, cozy and the lighting was perfect, I found it romantic .
I have been to the toritos before, I was a bit disappointed to find out that the menu was changed and they run out of ceviche.
Other than that it was good.

We lived about three blocks away and haunted Kensington Market. It wasn't until we moved away that we actually went there.

I'm not a huge tapas fan but I might give it another try now that's I've been to Torito. The service was good (though we went early) and the food delicious. Portions were small but I guess that's tapas for you.

All in all, a very pleasant experience.

Great food at a great price. Got together with some old friends. Wanted to try something new. Torito was suggested by another friend, and glad they did.

My partner and I met at Torito on our first date, so we decided to visit a few years later on our anniversary. The atmosphere was warm, romantic and inviting, definitely perfect for date night.

Our meal was delicious, the service was great, and we will definitely be back.

The food came fast and the drink list is decent. Seating arrangements would not be appropriate for groups. Ambiance is dark, plays on romantic. Washrooms confusing though.

Delish food...Every dish! A little too salty for my friend...especially the ceviche, surprisingly. Beautiful environment...great waitress...not too involved but always handy. Loved it!

My only suggestion for improvement is to ensure drinks come to the table! Going back for sure!

The best tapas in the city...amazing staff, always helpful and checking in with customers often. The tapas are generous, delicious, and reasonably priced. I would recommend the bacon wrapped stuffed dates, ceviche, and avocado fries with a big jug of sangria to anyone.

My husband and I enjoy eating tapas, but always find the 'same old, same old'. Even though the menu was somewhat shorter than I've seen at other tapas restaurants, it had plenty of interesting options. We ordered avocado fries, skirt steak with an egg, lentils and beets, oxtail flautas, chorizo and the patatas bravas. The least exciting was the lentil dish, and even that was delicious. Everything else had unique flavours which were truly a surprise and delight. Twice I sent my compliments to the chef: the steak was cooked absolutely perfectly; it was so tender and flavourful and not overcooked (perfect medium rare), and the oxtail flautas had the most incredible flavour. I don't know what magic they did to it, but man it was good. Anyway, I also found the service was great - kind and attentive servers. This is a gem, I hope you try it and enjoy it as much as we did! Thanks for the restaurant for a great meal out.

Always a menu surprise - this time the avocado fries. And the staff are terrific (they actually seem happy that you dropped by for a meal). It's most definitely a favourite.

One of my favourite tapas restaurants in Toronto. I missed the dates wrapped in bacon which are no longer on the menu, but the ceviche is terrific as are most items. Service is always cordial. This place is a gem

My wife and I went to Toritos last Saturday (May 16th). This is my second time at this restaurant and the first time for my wife. We loved everything about this place. Toritos is located on Augusta Ave, very close to College St in Kensington Market, a colourful, vibrant and diverse neighbourhood, one of the most iconic places in Toronto. Our server Juan did a superb job. He was warm and attentive in his service and spoke with us on several occasions about our food selections and other topics. We ordered 6 tapas and the rib special and we are still debating which one was the best but have not reached a verdict yet. We had Ceviche with corn, Avocado Fries, Croquetas de Jamón Cerrano, Patatas Bravas, Grilled Spanish Chorizo and Grilled Octopus with Chorizo. Each of the tapas we ordered was delicious in its own category. In terms of atmosphere, the décor was nice and relevant to a Spanish restaurant. The music choice was excellent. We listened to a broad repertoire of artists from Spain and various nations in Latin America. The restaurant has an interior dining room and a small but very nice patio. We recommend this restaurant for the superb quality of its food, atmosphere and top notch service. Definitely, we are coming back in the near future.
