Torch Bistro is a casual fine dining experience in the quaint town of Punta Gorda. Open for lunch and dinner with plenty of food options including fish, salads, soups, sushi and steaks. The pork buco is a best-seller featuring 18 ounces of slow roasted pork shank with a rosemary demi-glaze. What a pleasant surprise! Tried The Torch for the first time tonight and left feeling like we struck gold! First we had a tasty salad with mixed greens ,strawberries, and mandarin oranges with a special house dressing. Everything was fresh and crisp. I ordered the prime rib with Yukon potatoes and a side of cooked zucchini. The meat was cooked just perfect with pink center, the zucchini was not overcooked and the potatoes were cooked properly. The presentation was very professional. Prices were perfect for the entree. The staff was attentive. We will return!

Love torch bistro, great good, service above and beyond, Shane is wonderful knows his food, can't go wrong dining here. Definitely a go to dining experience.
Prime Rib ordered and served medium rare, as requested, with a marvelous horseradish sauce!
The food was outstanding, if a bit rich. Entrees are in the $28-$45 range. The Patricia Dean trio was excellent. The noise level was low so the jazz ensemble was easy to hear. The only complaint we had was cold coffee.
We had a group of 11. Torch put us into a private room, which ended up being a great spot. Heidi was our server and she really made the night. She is excellent at what she does! :)
We will definitely be going back here. Food was fantastic! I had the calamari which probably is the best I ever had anywhere. My husband had the Pork Buco. Again, best ever. Outside wine and drink prices were less than inside so eating outside is a money saver. Bartender was also our waitress. Friendly, helpful and on top of everything. Entire staff that we spoke with were great. We were given a menu to take home so that we can order take out when we don't want to cook. Great place!!
Our evening started by being promptly greeted and showed to our table. The server offered drinks while we looked at menu. The appletinis were delicious , the red house wine was good. My husband ordered the rib-eye steak rare, it came out to perfection. My stuffed flounder was very good. Presentation of both meals was very nice and served hot.
Our server was wonderful, but the two meals ordered were uneatable. The steaks were tough and chewy and the rice and vegetables were cold. The meals were removed from our bill.
