Spoke with Chef Sean and he prepared an off the menu item for our table. Food was great, service was fantastic. Although they were busy, we were not rushed to consume. Even though one of the restrooms was out of service, I waited in a short line and spoke with other diners, received a fun tip while in the area...Winemaker for a Day at Raymond, Buena Vista, or Deloach wineries. Went to Deloach and had a great time.
Cheers!!!!

We enjoyed the restaurant. The service was outstanding - attentive, friendly and professional without being hovering and grabbing your plate the minute you put your fork down. The food was interesting and well done, although I would have liked some greens on my beet salad. The hamachi appetizer and the swordfish dinner were great, as were the scallops. The roasted cauliflower with the scallops was delicious! The surprise with the apple and "red hot" ice cream...it sounded strange but was delicious. We were disappointed in the wine list. While it was really extensive, the cheapest (mediocre) bottle was $80 and it went up to at least $1000. The place is extensive. I recommend the 3 course meal, if available.

During every visit to the Napa Valley, I make it a point to dine at Torc. Chef Sean O'Toole sources the highest quality seasonal and local ingredients, then skillfully prepares one delicious dish after another. This dinner was no exception. For the starter, a melt in your mouth Hamachi Crudo was accented with a brightly flavored winter citrus and yuzu. The Swordfish main course was a showstopper! The plate was was streaked with a Meyer Lemon preserve, which complemented the ocean fresh, perfectly cooked steak. A local artichoke puree rounded out the memorable preparation. Finally, the "Sleeping Beauty" apple with a sweet/savory mascarpone sage ice cream served as a satisfying end to the meal. The ever changing wine list curated by Sommelier Cynthia O'Toole, offers a refreshing balance of old and new world selections, which pair well with the cuisine. Case in point, a Central Coast Rhone style wine served with the swordfish created surprising bursts of flavor on the palate and really enhanced the dish. The O'Toole's, as well as the rest of the staff are just as warm and hospitable as the food is good. Locals or visitors feel like family in this casual atmosphere. While I walked out the door well fed and very satisfied, I was already thinking about my next dining experience at Torc.

Interesting menu - well executed. Service was professional and attentive without hovering. Pacing of the meal was terrific - they gave us time to really consider the options before we ordered - and the courses were timed perfectly - never rushed or left with empty plates for long periods of time. Food was excellent - interesting combinations, high quality ingredients, nicely plated. Noise levels were reasonable, lively atmosphere but conversation was not difficult and we didn't have to shout to be heard. We each had a different entree and no one was disappointed! Lovely evening and looking forward to a return visit.

The waiter really had a chip on his shoulder. The kind of guy that didn’t seem to like his job or like you either

Came here for a birthday dinner. The food, although rather slow to leave the kitchen, was delicious. The cocktails and extensive wine menu were a welcoming bonus. I would come here again for the deviled eggs alone. Overall, a great dining experience.

Eclectic variety of well-prepared food choices. Excellent wine and cocktails. Pleasant, unobtrusive but attentive service. Cute stone building with wide open seating plan-tables a little close, so no really intimate tables but warm and lively vibe.
