Beautiful view, wonderful food and service. What's not to like about this place.
Great all-around. Views unbelievable!
Went there for a birthday. Food was decent at best. Ordered the New York steak and the carbonara. Both were very bland. Waitress was great, but there were very long periods that we didn’t see her. We ordered drinks, and were never asked if we’d like another round after they were finished; which was before our meal came out. Food seemed to take forever to get out. After our meal, we got a free birthday dessert that, unfortunately, wasn’t good at all. Views were fantastic, service was okay, food was okay. Probably won’t do it again.
Great venue, fantastic views over the city. Food was delicious, would highly recommend a visit.
Abe, the server, made our very special day more memoriable. Greatly appreciate his service and kindness.
Great waiter but that was it the bathroom was gross and the food was worse. It wasn’t worth the money go for the view but not the food.
Varsities of food is notable
Amazing! What a view, great food and Abdul our server was so charming and helpful, great time. Kids say it was the highlight of the weekend.
well~of course its the best view restaurant in vancouver, food is a bit pricy but still worth it. will be back!
The food here was very mediocre, we ordered the calamari...which felt like out of the frozen food section box. Both our steaks were cooked medium rare. But the cuts were cheap...I read other reviews before, but I felt like people were just too picky. Nope, the reality is that the view is amazing. That alone is a good reason to go. But I'd stick to appetizers and drinks. Save yourself a few bucks and have your entree elsewhere.
3.5 stars if I could
Based on what I overheard from another diner complaining about their meal, they are nothing but consistently mediocre.
Go for drinks, a great view, and share a dessert.
The ambience was excellent and the service was quite good. The food was just alright! We were fortunate to have a good evening weather wise and the overall experience was good.
Amazing view but the food was so overpriced for what we got. Salmon was too dried, and the combination of corns and beans in rice was just a bad mix. A simple mushroom or asparagus or even broccolis would do better.
Pork ribs were too greasy...
Views were absolutely incredible! Servers were very professional and kind. Was an amazing experience, and will most definitely be dining again.
Our experience was nice, but was missing the "something special" that comes with an upscale expensive restaurant. The food was good, but was far over priced for what it was. Could have been better. Just too much to pay for what is pretty standard food and service. That said, the view was amazing, and we did really enjoy the flavor of the broth served over the mussels. The rolls are quite good also.
We enjoyed a delicious meal and the view was gorgeous. Very relaxing. We took our daughter for her 19th birthday. The waiter brought her a piece of cheesecake with a candle n top. The evening was wonderful. I would go back.
Excellent food, excellent service!Server Raja was excellent, friendly and professional!
Great spectacular view of Vancouver.
Worthy menu with good Selectoin of wines.
Perfect for day and night occasions.
Kitchen closes early though.
Birthday for 3 of us 3/4/2018 and friends first visit vancouver from Italy
Special celebrate 3 of our birthday and friend’s first time visit Vancouver from Italy ! Is no doubt about the restaurant which 360 degree view of our Beautiful Vancouver, but yesterday’s foods were the worst over the last 21 years in here, I mean it’s still fresh but not enough ( not many choices.. and I kept on telling my friends how amazing even just crab legs, your restaurant will come up with few different ways .. but not yesterday ! And no sushi too, bread is hard, and the roast beef is over time and even I waited and waited .. hope till the middle will be better, but no luck ! When everything goes wrong, coffee won’t be an exception .. it’s warm and bitter! And glad services still excellent and everyone offer to help ! Hopefully someone in the restaurant will read this too becoz we’re planning come back in April ..
The view is incredible..the food was less inspiring and would keep me from coming back
The food was way too overpriced. Server forgot our drink. Bathrooms were ratchet. Only good thing about it was the view.
Everything was pretty good accept my steak was so tough with grissle that I was only able to eat maybe hald of it, I was on a date and didnt want to return my meal but normally I would have. The waiter saw all the steak left on my plate and asked if I wanted a box and I told him I did not because the steak was to tough to eat he just said ok and took my plate and left. Besides that beautiful view and nice restaurant. my date had the duck and that was excellent.
The view was fantastic. Had early evening sunset and darkness. The steak was very good. The dessert was outstanding. Wonderful place to eat, but kind of pricey, but worth it once in a while.
Absolutely stunning view, great service. Out waitress was Tmaya and she was really nice. Very satisfied with the experience.
Good place for dating
Over priced for average food.
The Mac & cheese came out cold and when I informed the waiter he asked if they would like them to reheat it for me. I laughed at this suggestion and asked for a new one. By the time it came out the main meal was finished.
To “applogise” they gave us a free cheesecake which we noticed they were giving out to all the couples. Some apology.
Then to finish I asked for an espresso which low and behold came out cold.
All in all a terrible experience aside from the view of the city.
It was a great experience, my clients were satisfied with the service even though they were not that hungry they could get great desserts and beverages!
Genoten van het prachtige uitzicht, eten was goed. De bediening vriendelijk maar vergat een aantal dingen.
Great place to take you friends visiting out of town.
The view is unbeatable. Suggesting to make a reservation through restaurant's web site. Easy, quick. It sends a confirmation back to your way.
Staff if friendly. Menu is ok. There's nothing I haven't seen/eaten in my life before. It's over priced on my opinion. Well, you pay a tourist price for this. Expected.
It takes an hour for a floor to make a full turn. Find out when a sun set starts and book an hour prior to it. You will watch city sites going through deautifull transformation. it's spectacular.
One down point: there is no coat hangers so you are placing your clothes over back of your chairs.
Not exsactly my style.
Great views. Food is mediocre.
I’ve been to Top of Vancouver several times now and each one feels just as incredible as the first encounters. I’d highly recommend this spot to anyone for almost any event as you will often find all types of attires present. The price is slightly higher than most “traditional” restaurants but it is made up for tenfold by the quality of food.
Beautiful view, service was good, wine was excellent, food... very disappointing... my halibut was overcooked and without taste, it was like eating plastic... not good for the value. I did not complain because I was celebrating a very special occasion and I did not want any negative vibes at our table. The kitchen needs to improve, I would go again for the experience, perhaps for the calamari and my wine that were fantastic, never for the halibut.
GREAT EXPERIENCE. My spouse and I booked a reservation for our daughters Birthday dinner and she was very excited. The elevator ride up to the top seriously impressed her, but not as nearly as much as the actual view when we reached the restaurant and we were seated. The view was gorgeous and it was a cold and blizzardy night, which was awesome to catch on video. The food was delicious and healthy! The service was quick and polite and nearing the end of our meals our server gave my daughter a free slice of mango cheesecake .... a yearly thing? I think so.
The best view of the city, great athmosphere, Great service.
I had a horrible experience at this place. I drove from North Burnaby to downtown and showed up for my reservation 15 mins early. Paid for parking Only to find that when I arrive the elevator is out of service and 40 people standing there waiting for it get get fixed. No one from the restaurant was down there to let anyone no what was going on. I tried calling them over 5 times only to get disconnected time after time. I will never go back nor will I recommend this place to anyone.
Sunday buffet was absolutely swarmed so they were out of a lot of the choices.
We were seated right away, had made reservations. We had the calamri, beat salad, wedge salad to start. All very good. Main course was the duck and salmon both very good. Service was polite and prompt
The food was amazing, the cheesecake that evening was the best cheesecake I have ever had. It was perfectly made and dissolved in your mouth perfectively. However, our server seemed not that knowledgeable about the entrees or wine list. And when we needed his attention is was nowhere to be seen.
There was a food runner/water lady (Michelle; sorry if I spelled it wrong) who was absolutely amazing. She is Brasilian and was more than happy to speak in Portuguese with us.
Fantastic food I must say I had a great time it was fun had by all it had the best view I have ever seen and the food was awesome
