Obviously you go there for the view, not the food. The taste of food there is actually OK, although the amount is quite small as expected.
Ambience and view were amazing! Service was great. However not impressed with the dish that I chose which was the chicken. Not seasoned or flavorful. The mushroom soup was very good but needed salt. Husband had the halibut which was decent. Was disappointed in being charged almost $5 for soda water and even more disappointed to be charged twice after getting a refill. This is unacceptable. Understandable that it’s a ‘fancier’ place but most restaurants don’t even charge for soda water. Free dessert for birthday which was a nice touch.
Food was good. View was fabulous. Service was disappointing, rarely saw our waitress or any other server.
Awesome waiter and staff, super friendly, food was delicious, a bit on the pricey side but good. My lobster wasn’t cooked correctly, it was rather chewy. When spending the amount they charge it should be cooked to to perfection.
Very very very good dining experience with whole family
Our waiter Huang was exceptional in his food knowledge and interaction about menu choices ......he really made us feel like we were very important and our satisfaction was worth his efforts.....he was very pleasant !!
Good food and service
Absolutely love this restaurant - always a great place to take a romantic interest or a close family member - definitely one of the most special treats Vancouver has to offer!
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday brunch experience. Aside from the fabulous views, the food was also amazing!! Our server, Gillian, was a lovely young lady who answered all of our questions as well as Bryan, who reminded us of more food to come! Overall, a wonderful way to spend a Sunday morning!!
Awesome view. Appetizers were a bit small and overpriced. E.g., $15 for a shallow bowl of mushroom soup! Mains were a nice size and tasty, but nothing special. Clearly paying for the atmosphere / view. Our server wasn't very good compared to the server waiting nearby tables; she didn't fill us in on any specials and she rarely came by. Recommend only because of the view, but won't be returning anytime soon.
My husband and I went on our last night in Vancouver (we are from the Philadelphia area). The restaurant and the view are gorgeous. We went on a courier night, and the view was still breathtaking. The service was great! Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The drinks were Good. I had white sangria at first which was pretty good, but switched to amaretto sours which were amazing!!! As for the food, I have to say being from the philly/new York area I am pretty picky about food. The food was pretty good though. We got the fried calamari which was a little salty, but good. I'd also like to get it with marinara rather then the sauce they serve it with. Not bad though. For dinner I got the Alfredo with salmon and peas. Very Good! The bill was appropraite for the service, food, drinks, and view. All in all a great way to end our vacation.
Nice restaurant! I would recommend it to anyone who just arrive Vancouver and want to see the whole view of Vancouver.
Buffet was limited. Pop is very expensive. Not good for value. If you wanna see tue view, just go one floor below and you don't have to pay for the bad food
The view of the city was fantastic. The service was poor. The waiter did not bring us drinks for more than 40 minutes-It was not busy at all, he forgot, but took no responsibility and generally seemed to hate his job. He did see that my friends drink was fixed to her liking. The buffet was lovely at first glance and the cold dishes/appetizers/salads were good to start. The hot dishes were not good at all; the brunch had very little breakfast items and all of them were sub par. The eggs benny were terrible-no other egg choices; no potatoes or has browns at all; greasy, poor quality sausages and cold waffles and french toast in small amounts-It wasn't cheap for this brunch buffet. The crab legs were neither hot nor cold on ice and tasted old. It was the worst brunch I have had in years and it was Easter Sunday.
Wow what a impressive evening. The service was prompt, polished and attentive. When the food was delivered it looked like art more than food, very savory! Thank you for the memories
Amazing restaurant with even better views! The food was incredible and the service was top notch. Would definitely recommend it & we’ll be back the next time we’re in Vancouver.
Went here for an anniversary! Was beautiful. Food was good and served quickly. Recommend going when the sun is shining!
Ambience, Ambiance and Ambience. I really liked this restaurant revolving on top of Vancouver. The Service is 1st class and friendly. The food was delicious and the price was surprisingly friendly. I will dine here again and I absolutely recommend Top of Vancouver restaurant.
Great experience and food.
We were celebrating my 9 year old's birthday. She was enthralled by the experience. The service was friendly and efficient. We had enough food for lunch the following day!
Amazing view. But expensive foods and drinks!!! :)
It is good to eat out here.
Food, ambience, employee all of these are very good to satisfy.
If it have some faults, rotation may occur sickness and quite expensive price makes you sick also....
Live music like piano playing would definitely add sophistication to the venue.
Our server was outstanding food was good and the view is something to enjoy.
Amazing service and delicious food with the best view of Vancouver! Would recommend lunch to see everything well.
Good to bring visiting friend from aboard to enjoy
Beautiful view, wonderful food and service. What's not to like about this place.
Me encantó este restaurante, además de una vista excepcional de la ciudad de Vancouver, tiene un menú variado, los platos tienen un buen tamaño y excelente sabor. La atención magnífica.
Great all-around. Views unbelievable!
Went there for a birthday. Food was decent at best. Ordered the New York steak and the carbonara. Both were very bland. Waitress was great, but there were very long periods that we didn’t see her. We ordered drinks, and were never asked if we’d like another round after they were finished; which was before our meal came out. Food seemed to take forever to get out. After our meal, we got a free birthday dessert that, unfortunately, wasn’t good at all. Views were fantastic, service was okay, food was okay. Probably won’t do it again.
We had 11 people, 6 of those being children. They accommodated our every need. It was a truly wonderful experience. We watched the sun set over the beautiful city of Vancouver.
Great venue, fantastic views over the city. Food was delicious, would highly recommend a visit.
Abe, the server, made our very special day more memoriable. Greatly appreciate his service and kindness.
Great waiter but that was it the bathroom was gross and the food was worse. It wasn’t worth the money go for the view but not the food.
Varsities of food is notable
Amazing! What a view, great food and Abdul our server was so charming and helpful, great time. Kids say it was the highlight of the weekend.
well~of course its the best view restaurant in vancouver, food is a bit pricy but still worth it. will be back!
The food here was very mediocre, we ordered the calamari...which felt like out of the frozen food section box. Both our steaks were cooked medium rare. But the cuts were cheap...I read other reviews before, but I felt like people were just too picky. Nope, the reality is that the view is amazing. That alone is a good reason to go. But I'd stick to appetizers and drinks. Save yourself a few bucks and have your entree elsewhere.
3.5 stars if I could
