Top of Vancouver Revolving Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
washrooms are in horrible conditions: poorly maintained, outdated, filthy dirty & no toilet paper in most stalls. is there no haccp safety or sanitary program in place? need some lights in there too.
the only thing good was that service we received at our tables.
i even called to let them know how bad there washrooms were —no one, not even Manager, had the courtesy to call back
We were lucky to have lots of blue sky the day we came for brunch. We were on holidays from Australia and I had read about the brunch in one of the visitor brochures.
We thoroughly enjoyed our day, great view, good variety of food and friendly service.
Put this on your Vancouver to do list.
I took my girlfriend here & it was our first time up in the Vancouver tower & this restaurant. We had a late dinner so we got to see the city & waterfront all lit up. The lighting in the restaurant was just right for a romantic dinner. The food & wine was delicious.
My girlfriend kept telling me that it felt like our honeymoon & it did.
My husband and I celebrated his birthday in the TOV Revolving Restaurant and it was a great experience. Unfortunately the view wasn't that far because of the rainy and misty weather, but the food and the variety of the buffet were amazing, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was very lovely. I can strongly recommend the Sunday brunch in this location.
Excellent brunch buffet for the entire family. Beautiful views of Vancouver and super friendly service staff. Definitely the best choice in dining if you're looking for a buffet with excellent menu choices, unbeatable view, welcoming atmostphere and all at a very reasonable price. We'll be back very soon!
100 % recomendado. Volvería en otras ocasiones!
Booked a table for 12 on New Year's Eve. Was told we would have a 'window table', which turned out to be a table with 2 seats at the window, and 10 seats stretching towards the inside of the restaurant. All around were empty tables which I repeatedly requested to occupy (to split our group so we could enjoy an actual view). Staff kept rejecting my requests claiming they were fully booked. By the time we left 2.5 hours later, after having paid our 1200 dollar bill, all the tables in our vicinity remained as empty as they were upon our arrival. Manager then insisted he did the right thing by reserving tables for no-shows while our group did not enjoy any view during our dinner. Half the restaurant was empty, yet the staff served the interests of no-shows rather than those of paying customers.
This is one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had downtown. Our food was not even hot, lacked flavour - desperately needed salt, it was extremely disappointing on ALL fronts. Crunchy rice - great flavour can’t fix it being underdone. The pasta dish was bone dry and completely bleh - except for the overwhelming “fishy” flavour of the prawns. Gross. Service was at best mediocre. The only positive was my water glass was endlessly imminently filled by the water person - had they only paid this much attention to the food we might have not wasted the $216+ it cost us.
Very disappointed with the service. I called multiple times to make a reservation; took around 1.5 hours to wait for the food; waited a long time to get waiter refill the water; asked for the paper napkins, which never came. Finally, about leaving, we were required to tip 18% gratuities!
My husband and I celebrated our wedding 20's birthday in the TOV Revolving Restaurant and it was a great experience. The view was so beautiful, althoughthe rainy weather, the food were amazing, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was very lovely. I can strongly recommend dinner in this location. The dessert was a show. Congratulations to all the restaurant staff.
The food and view were both great, but the service couls had been way better if you consider their prices. They took forever to get our order and whwn my brother requested the Wifi password to one of the guys who were serving water, he was extremlely rude and said: - Ask the waiter!
Not the kind of attitude I would expect on a place like that.
Great service however disappointed with the food. The lamb, veggies, and potatoes were plain jane. Nothing special about them for $45. The Cajun halibut was clearly overlooked and dry. Luckily the view and ambience are worth the price tag, so we'll be back. Hopefully the food will be better.
Went here for Christmas dinner with my partner. The hostess was very kind and gave us the option wait for a window seat. The food tasted fair, but given the price I was expecting a lot more. Our sever wasn't very engaging and we felt a bit rushed.
When I found a piece of (white) plateware in my Calamari I asked the person tending to us what it was. He told me it was a part of the (black) mussels, which I laughed at.
Ambience was spectacular though, as always.
