Muy buena vista
Really good food. The only bad thing was the dessert. We had the cheesecake, I don’t think it was made in the restaurant. The taste was bad. Overall a great experience, with great food, good service and an amazing view.
I enjoyed my time there but was disappointed that you only serve the dine out Vancouver menu. Overall it was a good experience, except for the food choices that's all.
our server was amazing - she was so helpful and polite. the food was good for the price as we had the dine out menu! i would recommend this restaurant to my friends in the future.
I went to Top of Vancouver Revolving Restaurant with my family to celebrate Chinese New Year during Dine Out Vancouver 2020. So, we ordered from the dine out menu instead of from the regular menus. The food in itself was okay. I had the New York steak. My family ordered duck duo and Arctic Char. The food is not bad but not outstanding either. If you compare the items on the dine out menu versus the regular menu, there is a discount in the price, roughly 40% off just to ball park. However, when I rate value, I think about the regular menu. Since I felt the value was just about right for the dine out menu, I inferred that it's likely a little overpriced for the regular menu. The premium is obviously for the view you get. We got a table by the window and the view was quite good. I can't comment on the tables not by the window. We had more than one whole revolution during our dinner. So we got to see all the directions. The ambiance was great. Tables are spaced far enough apart that the effective noise level is low. People also tend not to speak loudly maybe because this is fine dining so people are more aware. Service was great. You ride a designated elevator to the restaurant. There is parking space in the building, but not a lot, like about three dozens lots.
Food and service superb!
Good view and service
It’s cosy friendly romantic atmosphere the most polite servers and the food is so good
We went out for dine out Vancouver and ordered from the set dine out menu... I got myself a cocktail that said it had 2oz of liquor, well, the glass came and it was no bigger than a 6oz glass with lots of ice and I did not taste ANY alcohol! Second, we were asked if we wanted bread so we said yes... when the bread came; I kid you not , it was 2” x 2 1/2”... I’ve attached a photo... I can honestly say, that was the cheapest portion of bread at a restaurant EVER!!!
My husband got the steak and it was full of silver skin and gristle (he was disgusted,as he’s a real meat fan). Myself, I got the duck which was on the dry end.
The deserts were ok... all in all we discussed the cost for what we got, and honestly... the service and the view got our highest reviews.., the food was MEH. Which is too bad, they could rock the roof if they had better prices (on the moderate end) and better experience without being cheap!
Renovate the place. The restaurant looks so old and worn. Food could be better and prices were quite expensive for the quality. Joe fortes pricing but not the same quality of food.
The view was great. Service was slow. Food was okay.
Made me feel like a tourist in my own city! Loved the atmosphere and the food was delicious. Although it’s out of my normal dinner budget, I would save up to go back for their white chocolate cheesecake!
When it's dine-out Vancouver, the services is good but the food is not what we expect. Also, servers urge people to leave the table.
Haven't been here for a long time and thought to give it a try during the DOV event. The menu had a good selection and we were all able to choose something we liked.
The food was surprisingly good and the view is always great. The dining area is getting dated and does need a renovation soon but the overall atmosphere was very nice, food was good and the service was friendly.
Would come again.
Really disappointed that I didn’t get a window spot when I reserved for a birthday dinner. I would love to come back for another experience but I’m not sure how I feel about paying $130 for 2 and not getting a window spot like I visioned.
outstanding service, great view, dessert is just so so.
We enjoyed it very much, the dine out menu was excellent
Great view at the Top of Vancouver - However the food and dining experience was not great. We visited the Top of Vancouver to celebrate a special milestone birthday and participate in the Dine out Vancouver event. The food served was not very high quality. It seemed like they had pre cooked the dinners and left therm under heat lamps. One of our entrees (Duck dish) was served with the plate being hot but the food was luke warm. The server did offer to take the dish back and heat it up - we refused as the duck was already dry and a reheat would not have improved the texture - only dry it out more. The other dish we had (Pork Ribs) was very dry and actually difficult to cut with the knife provided.
Also our server mentioned to us, as we were paying our bill, that they have a 1 hour 45 minutes limit to finish you meal - not sure why this was mentioned at all as we were finished our meal and the table beside us arrived at the same time an they were half way through their entrees - at least another 30 minutes before they would be finished. Then our server took the opportunity to wish me a happy birthday - even though it was my wife’s birthday and that was indicated in our reservation. Perhaps she should have taken the time at the start of the meal to ask if we were celebrating anything special. To top the experience off - the restaurant “graciously”applies an 18% gratuity to your meal. I am of the belief that a tip is earned - if you are going to take the 18%, I expect the level of service to be at that standard. We have no problem tipping higher if the service is excellent.
The price of their Dine out Vancouver menu is on the high end at $45 / person. We have dined at other restaurants participating in the event at the $35 / person level and had a far superior dining experience.
If you want the 360 view of Vancouver just buy a ticket up the elevator and have a dinner somewhere else.
The food is expensive but the taste is not equal to the value. So salty we all know that majority of Canadian is not using salt nor sugar at home, I work for people with health problem and Nanny at the same time to the reputable family is West Side area.
One thing people nowadays are pretty particular of what they eat, last my son who is with me is a Chef Supervisor at Versace Hotel in Dubai, UAE, and my dad is a chef too. I hope this will help to improved your food quality in the level of the price you guys charge and more smile in customers face. Thank you
The only reason I go to the Top of Vancouver restaurant once a year is because my daughter likes to spend our joint birthday lunch there. The food is OK, and priced in accordance with the location. Obviously, the view is very nice, and there is a price for that. I really wish there were some vegan options both for entrees and desserts - currently NONE (which is a pity considering that this is Vancouver after all). If you don't mind eating meat or seafood, it's a good place to take beloved out-of-town relatives for a special meal. Lunch is great because it's often quiet so more likely that you'll get a window seat.
Great experience.Patrick was really awesome! And the rest of the staff are amazing
I brought 3 out of town relatives, one was the first time in Vancouver. The restaurant was perfect, even on a rainy day, it was a spectacular view. The selection of food from the buffet was amazing. If you love fresh seafood there was a wonderful assortment. We spent probably 3 hours and it was so relaxing and special, what a treat, I would recommend dining there
The restaurant has an excellent location. As a revolving restaurant, you have a great view to the harbor city of Vancouver. The Sunday Brunch menu is a great choice for family with kids. There are variety of food you can enjoy. The staff also provided an excellent service. My family and I had a great time here. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to explore Vancouver.
A fun night with a spectacular view!
Waiter try to sell you drink
Is my dad birthday, the server is excellent ( unfortunately I forgot to ask his name)
Make an early reservation to ensure you get a window side view or you'll end up waiting. The mushroom soup & mussels are excellent as is the arctic char entree. The duck was a little dry. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Would have been nice to know that a 18% gratuity was automatically tacked on to the bill. However the service was good.
Pretty good, excellent service and the view is awesome !!
Service is very good, but foods is not good
Food a little overpriced.
The view is excellent from the revolving restaurant.
The service was wonderful. Food was perfect. The views were unbeatable. My date was gorgeous. We’ll be back.
View was amazing but food was just okay. A glass of wine $18. Hello? And they had box wine that you can get in box - Copper moon. Automatic 18% gratuity too. That is the highest price I have seen for a glass of low end wine. Drink before you go and take in the amazing view.
duck duo is horrible!!!!! other dishes are fine tho
The waiter Jason was AMAZING! It was my moms birthday and he surprised us with a piece of yummy birthday cake with a lit candle and sung happy birthday. Such a great experience!
Great food it took a bit to bring out but we were happy got to spend time with each other love the circle rotation I would bring many other people there wondering if there is any discount or promotion so we can use they gave me cake at the end was very happy about that are it on my birthday something I'd recommend for next time is parking that comes with the meal like if you book a spot and you have arrived you get a parking pass for 2 hours it might attract more people there specially considering the price is heavy
Sehr empfehlenswert.
