Top of the World Restaurant - Stratosphere Hotel Ratings and Reviews
Food was good but expensive. Food was served too quickly. I hadn’t finished my starter and was asked if they could leave my main on the table. They didn’t like it when I said no. Then proceeded to try and serve my main as soon as I had finished my starter. When I said I’d like 15 mins break between each course, the waiter stated that I should have said so when I arrived!!!
The food here is amazing! Definitely recommend the scallops as an appetizer and the Surf n turf! They had both of our favorite beers ( golden monkey , Rogue Dead guy) . The atmosphere was incredible and our service was amazing as well. My favorite restaurant in Vegas! Will definitely be back!
This was my second visit and loved it. The view is amazing. Food was really good and service as well.Cannot wait to go again on my next visit from UK to Vegas. If I had to say anything negative then all it would be is. Fois Grais would have been better cold instead of hot. It is a LITTLE expensive but I would have to say I expected that, with that amazing view , service AND food. Okay so marks out of ten. 9.75 But if we had a different starter it would have definitely been a 10.
We arrived an hour before our reservation time and we were given a remote alarm that we took with us to the bar on another floor. Elevator for the floor above was very slow. We enjoyed the view from the bar..... but had to get to the area behind the bar to take photographs of the city in lights. We actually were notified by the remote that a table was ready for us 15 minutes before our reservation. The food we ordered was very good. The champagne we ordered was okay but that was the choice of one member of my family with the suggested assistance of the server. This is a great place for celebrating a special occasion.
Chicken was so juicy and very flavorful, the best we had every tasted. Salmon excellently cooked along with the honey carrots. I would defintely order the Lobster Bisque again. Filet Mignon always a number one entree to eat. Staff very friendly and quick with the food and refilling the water glasses. The Stratosphere dessert was over the top delicious. Of course the view was so pleasant to look at. The price was worth it for the food we received. YES, WILL GO BACK AGAIN!!!
To start with, Joseph from security was very attentive and took us to the desk to catch the elevator to the restaurant. We were greeted by a very pleasant hostess who guided us to the elevator, the ride was great even if it was too fast.
Again, we were greeted by Teresa with a smile like no smile I have ever seen before.
Took us to a great WINDOW table. Our waitress Dee came to the table within seconds being seated, informed us that Maria was going to be assisting her. Water was brought to the table and we were given plenty of time to choose our meals. With a 6 and a 12 year boys, was a joy to see how impressed and happy they were.
The order was taken and a beautifully arranged basket of delicious bread that we all enjoyed with the variety of butters. The Caesar salads were perfect. Our entrees arrived and the look alone was a delight, the taste was just as delicious as the look of the entrees.
100% Recommendable for any occasion.
The Chef's Tasting menu was excellent! Had a table next to the window as it revolved around Las Vegas and got some beautiful shots of the city. The photographer was a plus being able to capture a special night out. Two for one drinks during happy hour was a plus. The wait staff and manager were constantly checking on guests to make sure needs were being met. Just had a great overall experience!
We go to Top of the World once a year for either our birthday or anniversary. You can't beat the view -- best in Vegas. The food is very good. We usually get the 4 course meal because it gives us a variety of choices while still getting an hors d'oevres, soup or salad, main course & dessert.
The downside is it gets pricier each year. However, we will continue to go & recommend it to our friends and relatives.
We loved the view and ambience. We made the staff aware that we had 1 hour 45 minutes for dinner and then we had a show to see. Unfortunately the staff neglected to put our dinner order in .We had wine and our soup but had to leave for our show. We would definitely come here again .We are all human and make mistakes and the staff recognized the mistake.
Our sever was in a hurry to have us eat. We had the 4 courses chef’s tasting menu and the wine pairing for 98$ + 30$ per person. Restaurant was winding down since we had a late reservation. It was borderline rude from the serve to bring everything so fast. We had just finished eating our meal and the next one was there. We had the new wine pairing before we finished the last one.Food was good, cooked to perfection but the salmon could have had more flavor. Take the filet, it was very very good.. Decor was amazing. Overall, We should have gone elsewhere and have a great experience instead of being rushed in a nice ambiance.
The view, atmosphere, and service were wonderful and the chocolate martini was to die for. The filet mignon was everything it should be but the seafood (shrimp and scallops) were undercooked and poorer quality than expected. The deserts saved the night and were amazing!
You're paying for the experience not quality. The food is not worth the price. The service is not bad but not at the level associated with fine dining when compared to the price. You're really paying for the rotating room that has a great view. I imagine most reservation are from visitors of the city, and special ocassion (i.e.,birthdays...etc) guest. The allure to reserve is enticing.
