Top of the World Restaurant - Stratosphere Hotel Ratings and Reviews
We spent around $300 for 2 of us and were a bit disappointed. The view was amazing which made the dinner worth it. The service was a tad slow for our liking but our waiter was amazing. The food was mediocre, not what I would expect for the price point. I’ve had much better filet at half the price. I’m glad we went for the one visit but probably will not return as the experience was neat but we were not overly impressed.
Most of the food was great. the biggest complaint that I had was I ordered steak and the topping was terrible. I scraped the sauce off my steak. the waiter was great about it and comped my desert. other than that we love the restaurant. well worth the cost and great views.
The ambiance was very nice. The view was spectacular. The food was very good but overpriced. New York steak 58$. Filet mignon 58$. That's the meat only. No side dish. When a photographer came to the table to take photos I said sure. It was my wedding. When they came back with them we could choose from different photos. 2 big and 2 small in a nice book. Price 65$. At home I found that they photo shopped the background. So I demanded a refund. Not easy. But I got it.
The food is beyond exceptional! When compared to other higher quality restaurants, it is still priced about 25 to 30 percent higher than it needs to be, but then again so is everything else in Vegas. At least with food this good, you're not kicking yourself afterward. You pay $50 for a buffet of just regular food, you tend to be grumpy or even regretful. You pay $50 for a steak that is mind blowing, and suddenly it's not that bad. Especially when the staff are SOOOO friendly and totally go above and beyond. I never had to look for our server once! He was all over it, every step of the meal. He sensed my son was struggling with the menu and came over to explain what things were. My son was almost finished with his soda and our server was at the table with a refill before my son took his last sip. My son actually said "woah!" I've never seen a server anticipate every need of a diner before, quite impressive. It was an excellent experience that I thoroughly enjoyed and will go again when back in town.
Dined while in Vegas. Breath taking views the ambiance was cozy and the food and service spectacular. They also have an observation deck and a sky lounge to unwind and enjoy music, desert or after dinner cocktails. And if you don't dinner, the sky lounge is open to cocktails and/or appetizers.
That was the best dinning experience in my life!
The food was so great that I'm having dreams about!
The view is outstanding, the waiters are very polite and good persons, the place is beautiful and the menu is great!
That wagyu ribeye was so delicious that I felt like if I were kissing an angel while I was eating it!
The walk and ambiance to the restaurant elevators is not the greatest, but well worth sustaining the bad for the end result. Once you make it to the top and the restaurant, it is spectacular. Great food, great wine list, great view, great service. All those positives get you prepared for the not so great ambiance of the walk back to your ride.
We visited the top of the world restaurant on a trip to Las Vegas for my birthday and have to say it was the perfect setting for a birthday meal. The view from the restaurant is stunning and the restaurant actually revolves so you get a 360 degree experience of Las Vegas. The service was outstanding and the food very nice if not a little expensive (but what isn’t expensive - the whole city is crazy over priced). That being said the experience on the whole was fantastic and we also got to go up to the obeservation deck to take a look around after. As a family travelling from England all in all it was well worth a visit, we don’t really have anything like it at home.
The food, the view and the service were all spectacular. We chose the chef's tasting menu with the matching wines and were very pleased. The service was personable and efficient, and our waitress was able to advise us well on our choices.
Our night was a special anniversary for our small family, and the candles on our desserts were a lovely thought.
This was my 4th time to enjoy this amazing restaurant. 3 of the 4 times, I have chosen to do the pre-set menu, and have always been very pleased. The food is always delicious (total understatement, but words escape me to properly describe this food). Everything is beautifully plated. I love the wine pairings, including the champagne and port. The wait staff always meets the highest of standards, and everyone of them are helpful and polite. Of course, the view is outstanding. I always consider this my ultimate treat when visiting Las Vegas.
