Krystina was amazing. She was attentive, professional, and fun. She really made our meal experience wonderful. Thank you!
Outside of the view almost every part of this experience was disappointing. The menu was boring. The food was mediocre (duck and Halibut) to downright inedible (short ribs). The service for a high end restaurant was terrible. Oh the desert was really good s passion fruit creme bulee. I honestly can say this ranks as one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I have ever had
The food was absolutely delicious. The views were great. Wish they had more menu options
The food and the ambiance of the restaurant were great. Our only issue was the service, we had not one but two servers that weren't very attentive. We had to wait over 20 minutes for someone to come ask how we were doing and we had been waiting for someone to come around so we could order more wine, we were a little upset because the restaurant was not even full that evening, we would understand if it was very busy but that was not the case. The quality and taste of the food was divine. The ambiance was beautiful.
Would recommend for view, service was not professional. Servers seemed unsure of which table they were to be attending. The truffle fries were amazing though! Food was good, we ordered a second glass of wine midway through dinner, it never came.
Dessert was however outstanding! Had the caramel budino...heavenly!
Would suggest better training for staff😊
Neysa was amazing! We loved the service and the food + view was great!
Mothers Day Brunch. We were seated at a window overlooking a cemetery. Asked to move and were told no. Server didn’t greet us. When she did she forgot multiple things requested. Told us she’s worked there for 8 years and today was a really bad day for her. Then later another server came in telling us how it’s been such a bad day for her. We were uncomfortable trying to celebrate a happy occasion among two miserable servers. Then at the end I asked for hot chocolate because I’m 9 months pregnant. Was told they don’t have it but the coffee is always decaf.... (I’m wide awake st 10:30pm jittery from “decaf” coffee.) top it all off with the check having an 18% gratuity charge for large parties added to it. (We were a party of three).. With a bill of $300 for three people I would expect much more than received. Won’t be back.
Mother’s Day brunch buffet truly makes you feel special. The view of the valley is beautiful, the made to order treats are fun, there are plenty of options for all types of diners and every item is high quality and unique. My favorite go to though is the seafood, I especially appreciate that the crab legs are already split which make consuming them so much easier.
The view was amazing. Sit outside if weather permits.
What a hidden gem! Everything was absolutely amazing. I peaked at the menu before hand so I had my dishes planned, but our wonder server Guillermo recommended the specials and they did not disappoint. The Meyer lemon ricotta ravioli was def my fave. So unexpected, and so delightful. The foie gras. The tomato basil soup. The Waygu short rib. The pork tenderloin. Goodness, even the bread they serve before dinner. And of course, the view can’t be beat. I was visiting from LA and only had limited free time, so glad I spent it here!
I always enjoy dining here, I’ve never had a bad experience. AJ was our server and he provided excellent service. Can’t wait to go back!
Love the outdoorseating at sunset early dusk! Food is always good! Waiter was thorough and terrific. One of my favorites for special occasions. Noted in reservation that it was our wedding anniversary! Was not forgotten! Waiter presented a piece of cake with Happy Anniversary! on it. Such a nice touch!
A great place to take out-of-towners or the fabulous view
We were there for our anniversary and i requested if possible a window table and the one given us was to us the best in the house. I also requested a rose on the table but they were unable to do it saying it had to be done in advance which I did in the reservation
View and service were excellent. Food was very tasty but not hot when it came to the table.
Service was great, drinks were great, view was amazing, the shrimp appetizer was the highlight but the food came out cold. Spent $600 for my twins graduation celebration, not a great value for the money.
Great place for sunset. Food excellent!
Probably the best view and most gorgeous designed restaurant in the area… I’ve been coming to this restaurant for nearly 30 years… The recent interior design changes do not fit the architecture and organic nature of the resort… And the food is just a four out of five… All of that can be overlooked because of the gorgeous view!!
Apps were good. Drinks were good. Entrees were bland.
The service was excellent
Views were nice, however the food was pricey and the service wasn’t spectacular.
Unbelievable dining experience! Food, service and view second to none!
This is now my favorite restaurant! It is so worth checking out!
The food was very good. But difficult justify paying $200 for a single course for 2 people and a shared dessert
The best experience ive had so far, super friendly and courteous staff, the waiter very kind and helpful as it was our first time there! I would definitely go again!
We absolutely loved the chicken and donuts appetizer, and the dessert was great. However, we were disappointed with the Caesar salad and we remember the bread being much better at a previous experience here. Lastly, the pork tenderloin was very salty and we couldn't finish even half of it. The staff was friendly and the ambiance is great at this restaurant, and our previous experience was great. This time our experience was lacking.
A beautiful place for a first date. Great food, great view, great ambiance. Will always remember the night.
Our overall experience would have been rated Outstanding but there was one flaw in the evening. There was a group of 8-10 people who wanted to take a picture of the beautiful sunset. It would have been a little more tolerable if they didn't linger so long. They crowded our table and the two other tables on the west end of the patio. They trampled the landscape and could have easily gotten hurt. Their rear ends were right against our table, making it very unappetizing. Maybe a barrier could be put up and a nice sign to keep off the landscape and the tables set up differently so people can't invade your space while you are enjoying your sunset dinner. We enjoyed our evening so much after they left. Our server was Jaqueline and she was very pleasant. She apologized for the rude customers and even took the time to take our picture with the gorgeous sunset. Jaqueline helped make our 27th anniversary a special one.
Rocky I and Lisa G were outstanding helping me set up a birthday dinner for my brother and his wife. They arranged for a special evening including window table, birthday dessert, and remote payment. Lisa was especially kind when a last-minute credit card issue popped up, and she helped me resolve it without upsetting my guests.
Thanks so much to Lisa & Rocky!
Beautiful views of the valley from every table. Casual atmosphere.
Made reservations and was seated right away, the service was amazing as well as the food, I got the pork tenderloin and it was outstanding! The view was also spectacular, would recommend going when the sun is setting or it’s already night so you can see the lights of the city. Overall very good experience, a little pricy but i would 100 percent recommend it!
Amazing views, food and service! Had the New York strip and it was cooked perfect to temp with great flavor. The Brussels sprout are absolutely amazing, so crispy and flavorful. Our server Jacqueline was so kind and prompt during our visit.
Very nice restaurant for a quiet dinner and some alone time.
What a wonderful evening spent with my husband along with my parents and brother/wife. I have to say that our experience at this restaurant was made especially fabulous due to the service. Our servers were attentive and were very pleasant to converse with. The food was wonderful. My Pork Tenderloin was done to perfection, a blush of pink and very tender topped with a smoky bacon...delightful. Three of our party had the Duck, very tender and flavorful. The Arctic Char was beautifully done and a nice portion size. The sides were definitely shareable except for the mushrooms...there were definitely not enough of them (so delicious). We did have a pretty long wait but it was due to a large party that came right before us. Our servers were very apologetic for the wait, it was refreshing to have it recognized. We had enjoyable company so it turned out just fine. The bread selection that is served before the meal was very nice as well as the dessert menu. The chocolate cake was too cold for my taste but I am sure this is needed to prevent slippage of the ganache frosting. The Crème Brulee was shared by some of us and it was raved about.
The views are lovely, I had just hoped we could be placed at the window to see everything better since my brother /wife were visiting from the Seattle area but where we were they could still see some of the sights. It just means we will have to come back!
I have one small complaint and that would be the Chicken and Donut appetizer. We have had them one other time and they were so soft and pillowy and this time the donuts seemed to be a little dry and not as enjoyable. The shredded chicken was very flavorful as the first time but a bit on the dry side as well. I don't know if I would want to risk ordering it again due to the price but it makes me sad due to how much I have raved about them in the past due to our first experience.
Overall, it was just a wonderful experience and we all had a great time, THANK YOU!
We love the buffet for Mother's Day, but we can't go this year, so we went for Easter. We have enjoyed the Mother's Day buffet for years. It is an annual event for my family. The service is excellent, the servers are friendly and we love the Top of the Rock ambiance. We spend two hours enjoying the meal and the time together. It was super special again this year!
One of the best Easter brunches I've been to! Great food, and service. Lovely views.
This was an Easter brunch for six of us. Not a good meal to rate a restaurant on. However, sitting on the patio of this restaurant was a great view of the valley looking north to Camelback mountain. A great view. Brunch was pretty routine as food goes. The usual offerings of prime rib, seafood and various salads and a large dessert bar. Mimosa’s included in the $69 dollar price. 18% tip was automatically added to bill. No problem there, but for buffet, percentage perhaps could have been less. All in all not bad but not great food. The restaurant is starting to show its age but still a unique place.
I have taken my family to brunch many times. We love the variety of foods. With so many different ages and palates the Marriott’s brunch is fantastic. I would have given 5 stars but this time a lot of the food items had a bit too much salt. We will be back and also I would like to mention the view is spectacular
