It was a wonderful evening and birthday celebration! The service and food were amazing! The view is amazing!
We were outside however they should’ve had the tiki lights on to give it a more inviting and romantic atmosphere
Great dinner, view and wait staff! Food was excellent and our waiter took great care of us.
Not too impressed , 70's styled restaurant. My daughter thought this would be great for my birthday. The food was ok, nothing spectacular and pretty expensive and my daughter and I split something. Once was enough, there are plenty other places to see in the area and it.
Was very nice! We were celebrating an anniversary. Was expecting to have a Great view! No! Instead of a nice quiet romantic table with a view....we got a huge booth for 8 people & no view!! Almost said something, but didnt..was very disappointed. Food was excellent! Just no special moments.. felt like I was eating at McDonald's!!
Top of The Rock is very romantic but VERY over priced.
Leisurely but attentive service. Enjoyable view. Delicious food; generous portions.
The only piece missing for outstanding experience was nice fresh baked dinner rolls.
Outstanding service and food. Definitely on the list to return.
I thought I was going to a great sunset dinner location, but there were only a few tables by the windows and the sunset was shielded by terrain just outside the restaurant windows.
the ambiance was perfect for our anniversary, quiet with amazing food they made a special dessert for us on the house the waiter was knowledgeable and he offered explaination of all the entrees as we asked
Not a great menu but 5 star service and view.
Great experience and atmosphere. The food was amazing.
The restaurant needs some updating but the view and food more than cover that. The drinks are strong, the appetizer shrimp are totally amazing, and the ribeye steak was perfect. Order the lemon drop martini with the deep Eddie vodka as well.
Delicious food, beautiful views, looking forward to returning.
Went for my partner's 50th b-day. We had reservations and weren't seated timely. We watched over a handful of people walk in without masks. This was disturbing and incredibly unsettling since my partner had just undergone a medical procedure.
Service was slow, the requested seating for the birthday wasn't fulfilled, he had the pleasure of looking out to the kitchen his entire meal. The experience was mortifying especially when youre trying to celebrate a loved one. Terrible dining experience!
Top of the Rock is always fabulous!
So glad they're serving again!
I really enjoyed the evening. Was relaxing. Thank you.
Food and service were amazing. If you go, book an outside table to enjoy the view. unfortunately we chose to stay inside and it was extremely bright, had horrible music and just didn't give the ambience of a top of the mountain 5 star restaurant. Because of the Covid they are not allowing you to select specific tables but pick a non busy night or time and maybe you can get one of the premium outside tables that really showcase the view.
Great view, Great food and wonderful experience. It was my hubby’s birthday and they took care of dessert for us. They made it very special
Great, everything was great!
I totally recommend this place. Always exceptional service and food is amazing!
It was a special night and the restaurant and staff were great. We will definitely go back.
The views were stunning, the food was impeccable. The ambience is retro, which is OK, the server we had was efficient but not overly warm and friendly. All in all, we would come back again. The filet mignon steak I had was one of the best and most tender of my life, even when compared to the finest steakhouses in major cities I’ve traveled to.
great very romantic
book ahead like we did ! fills up fast
Very nice experience: food, atmosphere, music, service.. highly recommend !!
So my girlfriend and I went to dinner here. The view is amazing all around. The restaurant itself was quiet and comfortable. You definitely pay for the view and if this is what you’re looking for I recommend this place. However, we sat inside to avoid the hot Phoenix weather and we were sweating even at our inside table. For dinner, we got the Thai shrimp as an appetizer which was good, my girlfriend got the filet which she loved, but my ribeye was 70% fat and little meat, which I’ve had a better meat cut at Texas Roadhouse. All in all, I would go back, just make sure you get the filet if you’re hungry.
Labor Day girls weekend
Look the same bottle of wine we got was 42 dollars we looked for it and found it was 16 dollars. I cook better steak on my grill. And the view was not all that great.
Dined outside, great views! Good service, nice menu with equal seafood and meat choices. Able to accommodate gluten free easily. Wasn't the best about subbing out asparagus and Brussel sprouts that came with entree as some in our party weren't fans, they prefer you order a side.
outstanding service and food as always. Great views and very careful with respect to COVID.
Showed up 4 minutes before reservation, door was locked, even though website showed that the should have been open for half an hour at that point. Hostess opened and said they were not ready sent us away in 117 degree heat to wait. Returned 15 min. later and were seated. Beautiful restaurant nice server. looked down and found the table was filthy and never cleaned off, most likely from day before. Really not good in this era of Corona Virus. Not to mention in a establishment were dinners range from 30-55.00 per plate. We got up and left. Normally I would have let the very odd and awkward greeting go. I would have asked for a table cleaning also. However this was supposed to be a special evening of fine dining. Really not ok.
Food and type was off. Not good at all. Wait for our food for slickness.
The food was delicious. The views amazing especially at sunset. It’s a very nice place to go and have good conversation, not to loud.
Last Friday night: The food that we ordered was not good. The ravioli appetizer was heavy and all one note: heavy cream, cheese and salt. It needs to be lightened, can benefit from a little acid from lemon as a finisher, Fresh thyme herb. waiter didn’t offer to grind the black pepper on it, just dropped it off at the table and ran off. It reminds me of something you’d see on a 1980’s menu. The summer roll with shrimp was not good. The shrimp was separate from the summer roll and neither worked together on the plate. The cooking method of the shrimp- fried and crunchy and then doused with sweet sauce to make it soggy didn’t work. That sauce did not work with the satay for the summer roll. The summer roll had lettuce and fresh herbs but that’s it. I could care less if I had it. It was all very strange. The dessert we ordered was the earl grey creme brûlée. Not good. The top had a burnt taste and the inside was watery and had blueberries. The flavors didn’t go together. I was very disappointed with all 3 dishes we ordered. After the appetizers, I didn’t want to order an entree. Our waiter was also very rushed and did not attend to us, just rushed past saying “yes miss.” The hostess at front took 3 phone calls and had me standing in front of her while she was taking the calls. My daughter went down to the bathroom and back up in all that time and we still had to wait. It was very rude.
Had an amazing experience here, must try the white truffle butternut squash ravioli!
Top of the Rock was an awesome experience. Guillermo was our was our waiter and he was the best. Food was perfect as was the view from the top. Chicken and Donuts.....if you haven't tried it yet.....put it on your things to do list!
Delicious food good value and great view! Would recommend to anyone.
The food, service and location are outstanding! The whole experience was wonderful! Will be coming back in the fall when it’s cooler to eat outside.
Food was great and the view was outstanding. However, for the price you pay the service was terrible. Don’t know if it’s COVID-19 related and they can’t get staff to work or something else. But they definitely need to pay some attention here.
