Parking details
The lot directly in front of our restaurant is metered & monitored by the Port of San Diego seven days a week from 10am-8pm. The meters accept quarters and City of SD Parking Meter Debit Cards. It is $7.50 for the three hour maximum. We offer valet service that is $10 for our guests and available seven days a week from 11am until closing. Should either of these options be unavailable there are two additional public lots located on Pacific Coast Highway and W. Broadway.

My wife and I were celebrating our 48th anniversary and were greeted by the hostess with a "Happy Anniversary" and big smile. Got to the best view table in the house and had specially printed menus and an anniv. card. A visit from manager Nick, and our waiter Adam was great. Brazilian Lobster and Swordfish were exquisitely prepared. Love this restaurant!

We went for my wife's birthday and the view was beautiful. They put us in small room surrounded by windows and the ambiance was great. The waiter recommended the Swordfish and it absolutely fantastic. The service was great and we highly recommend Top of the Market.

We were celebrating my brother’s engagement, which the staff and management were aware of. They were very accommodating to the occasion and made for a very wonderful evening. The service and food were great! We will definitely be coming back.

Our dining experience was awesome! We were disappointed that even though we were able to make a reservation through open table, we were not able to use our "open table" GIFT CERTIFICATE...Would recommend this being disclosed when making your reservation on Open Table. Would be awesome if this restaurant would let us use our open table gift certificates, especially in light of the increase in menu prices since our last visit. Our server was awesome by the way! Great Job~!~~!~!~!~!~!~!~~!~

Wonderful dinner. Peter helped us select s terrific wine. All of the food selections were just delicious. Service was outstanding and the sunset was beautiful. Never disappointed by this restaurant.

They have amazing clam chowder soup and sword fish , amazing place with amazing view of the bay and coronado island . We love the place i highly recommend it for couples or families on special occasions its very quit and cozy

Service was excellent. View is outstanding. The half dozen oysters on the half shell were excellent, severed with several unusual ices. The prawn cocktail was not really prawns, but 4 large,curled shrimp, cooked well, but the presentation of the $18 prawn cocktail was the worst I have ever experienced...4 curled up shrimp lying flat on a plate with a small ramkin of cocktail sauce. The presentation down below, in the less expensive Fish Market restaurant, is much nicer and more impressive. South African lobster tail was sold as "16 ounces"....NOT! Plus it was very TOUGH (waiter called it "firm") and had very little flavor (waiter called it "slightly sweet")...I'll say! Not as tender or flavorful as local lobsters or fresh Maine lobsters. King crab legs were delicious but promoted by waiter as "1 and a half pounds"...NOT. Plus they loaded my plate up with the many puny leg tips instead of the meaty bases of the legs. I wonder where the meaty portions went...I can get more king crab by buying one leg at Costco! A very romantic experience, with excellent service, ambiance and view, but disappointing food and over priced.

The food was amazing! The recommendations were "spot on"!! We sat on the covered patio, it was quieter than the restaurant. The complimentary birthday cheesecake was so delicious! I would even go for dessert and coffee. The only thing is that the parking lot has meters even on Sunday until 8:00.

From the hostess to the bartenders Cliff and Brian, to our server Bill and a special visit to our table from the GM Mauricio, everything was FANTASTIC .. it was a special occasion and everyone did an exceptional job. The food was prepared perfectly ..

We had a sunset dinner at the Top of the Market to celebrate my wife's birthday. Although she had been to the Fish Market before, this was her first experience upstairs at the Top of the Market. We were seated on the veranda overlooking the bay. Our waiter, Peter, was excellent, the scallops were excellent and the early evening was excellent. Although the indoor dining area had a moderate noise level, the veranda was quiet where couples could easily communicate and fully enjoy the experience. The Top of the Market made me a hero on my wife's birthday.

Although our starters (Jumbo Lump Crab Cake, Gambas Al Ajillo, Grilled Spanish Octopus) were very good, my guests and I found our main courses (True Holland Dover Sole, Oregon Dungeness Crab Cioppino, Scottish Isles Salmon) were bland and unseasoned. I really wanted to like the meal and the starters promised something really good, the mains couldn't deliver, though.

I booked The Top of the Market for my Mother-in-Law's 90th birthday and came into town to celebrate with her over a special dinner before the family gathering was to be held. The staff was just amazing and so attentive. When we arrived they wished her a happy birthday, printed a special menu for her to keep, the GM made two delightful table visits, and she was presented with a beautiful dessert. The entire meal was lovely, the service was terrific, and my Mother-in-Law had a wonderful, memorable birthday. She was very touched. Thank you for your kindness and caring and providing such a great dining experience.

Wonderful service and a great Meal. JT and his busser took great care of us. I'm pretty sure that our water glasses were never empty, but you never knew that they were there. the sword fish was spectacular.

Unfortunately the food did not live up to the high prices. I was very disappointed with my scallop dish and my husband's steak was quite fatty. Certainly not worth $50 a plate.

We followed up a 2 hour harbor tour with a late lunch and drinks with a great harbor view. Service and food was excellent as always. We left some pictures we'd purchased during our harbor cruise on the table when we left. The staff recovered the pictures, was able to find a phone number for me (assume via Open Table where I'd made the reservations) and called me to let me know they had them and would hold them for me. I was so thrilled at the effort and conscientiousness of the staff to go to the trouble to track me down and provide the pictures. A very uncommon trait these days in many many cases. Well done staff and Top of the Market . . . just reinforced my very favorable opinion of food, service, and staff.

We had a reservation at 5:15, were seated in a magnificent table with a beautiful view of Coronado, Harbor Island and the Midway at sunset. Our waiter was extremely professional, friendly, attentive but not overly so. The food was exceptional! The overall experience was terrific and we will be back!

The food, view and service was great. I had the tuna and my wife the scallop. Both were great. The Sancerre was a perfect pairing.
