Top of the Hub is beautiful! The view of the city really makes the perfect ambiance! Great place to celebrate a special occasion.
Amazing views, were able to seat us 45 minutes early, delicious 5 course meal, spent over &150 pp but was worth a splurge for husbands birthday. Great service and they honored my request for a window seat for the lit up Boston view! Love for a special night out!
Top of the Hub was great as always in terms of view and atmosphere. Service wasn’t that great - waited for our food for an hour and 5 minutes, even though we didn’t order anything special.
It was a special occasion. We requested the window table early in the week to make sure we get it, we were offered a table in the corner far away from any scenic view.
We were not welcomed appropriately by the hostesses who were extremely rude to us.
The manager never showed up to apologize for the inconvenience. The waitress had a below average customer service. The place is not cheap at all but but make sure you deliver legendary customer service to your customers especially for the decent $$$$$ you charge for dinner.
The guests we had were from out of town and it was an absolutely embarrassing experience to us.
Not worth the money we spent at all!!
Made me pay for my birthday dessert
Took a long time to take the bill
Great experience with my wife on our anniversary. We were seated at the best seat in the house corner window excellent food and service big portion. Thank you for making my wife’s first experience there a wonderful one
We both ordered drinks from their drink menu to start, which were very good. We each ordered soup; I ordered lobster bisque, which I loved and my husband ordered the clam chowder, which he liked but said that it was spicy as if it had an excessive amount of pepper in it. For our main courses I ordered the 7oz filet Oscar style and my husband ordered the ribeye. Both were very good, however the steaks were cooked closer to medium instead of medium rare, as we ordered them, a common occurrence in restaurants these days. We ordered the Boston cream pie for dessert, which is both delicious and is entertaining to look at with the Boston city skyline and “Top of the Hub” designed into it. We ordered Irish coffees to go with it, which were fabulous. Any lack in cuisine we encountered (I have to stress how little it was) the view certainly made up for it. If you can catch a time that is right before sunset to see the view both during the day and night, that would be ideal. It’s gorgeous and you could stare at it forever! Also, the staff was wonderful. Our waiter was very attentive and polite. Overall the experience was absolutely lovely and delicious and I would go again in a heartbeat!
Fantastic views, very attentive wait staff, nice food, a special lunch
This is our #1 choice for a celebratory dinner. Everything is always wonderful.
Best place, best view and best cuisine. Was really one of my best nights in Boston. Thanks for the amazing service.
The view was very nice. The food was good as well. There was a table next to us with 3 screaming kids, nothing was said to the table one of the kids even came to my table and started pulling on my table cloth and screaming by us. The restaurant did nothing about the situation, everyone could see the tables surrounding these people were upset, yet nothing was done. Dress code says a more dressed up atmosphere and there were people in shorts showing their buts and people in leggings etc. I came to this restaurant thinking it was going to be a nice evening out but how could anyone enjoy it with screaming children. I spent almost $250 on 2 people and won't come back due to these two things. In my opinion if people can afford to eat there then they can afford to dress how the dress code is. If I want to see the view I would much rather go to another restaurant then to the observatory rather then go back to this place.
Great dinner. Will go again for sure!
Beautiful view, por service and food!!! Unfortunately it’s hard to pay a high price for a Port meal, will never justify the view!
Great place with great food and beautiful views of the Boston skyline
Wonderful food and experience for Brunch (and probably any time). Worth the price!
Guy in the lobby was a bit grumpy when we arrived - we were early and they hadn’t opened yet. However it was my birthday and I was going to let him start it off on the wrong foot so we smiled politely and wandered around the shopping centre until our reservation time. We had seats next to the window and the view was just amazing. Wonderful. Our waitress was kind and attentive. The food was brought out very quickly. We had the Prix fixe menu for brunch and it was plentiful. A couple of the courses tastier than others but it depends on individual tastes. I would totally recommend as a unique dining experience.
Top notch! Top of the hub has definitely set the bar for fine dining. With great flavorful entrees, and delicious appetizers along with a great atmosphere, top of the hub is on top with me.
I’ve been to quite a few expensive restaurants... This was suppose to be a special night... I was proposing to my now fiancée. service and food wasn’t what I expected.” To start off, when calling restaurant... very hard to speak with a person. Got the answering machine like 20 times before speaking with a someone. Food.... My fiancée ordered medium well fillet mignon and got a very pink bloody steak. I usually orders medium rare and that’s what she got. Asking for directions for valet parking to get to the restaurant over the phone was pointless “it took 20min when at destination point to find the garage with no valet person there and had to walk through the mall to get up to the restaurant.(5min walk through the mall) Lack of signage and help to get to the restaurant. I had to look for for a waiter when I needed something. Cloth table were dirty upon seating. Over priced menu but my guess is your paying for the views.
Not worth all the money. The view is nice but the waiter was not attentive and all over the place. My meal was messed up and it took them 20 minutes to get it back to me. My dates dinner was cold by the time my food was out.
Food ok. Go there for the view
Outstanding view. Excellent food. We can't wait to return on our next trip to Boston!
It was our first time there and I would go back again! the food, service, atmosphere and view was incredible. The prices are on the higher side for the amount of food you actually receive but is to be expected at that type of restaurant.
Great location and service in the city!
Great atmosphere. Delicious food. Amazing views! Highly recommended.
Amazing dinner with extraordinary view! Would not think twice about going back!
Birthday dinner- the service and food was excellent!
Lots of fun. And good food
One of the best food spots and easily the best view in all new england
Great experience. Seated near window behind plant divider, next to band. Music fun, not overwhelming. View, ambiance lovely. Food was delicious and exceeded expecation. Service staff was attentive & engaging. Overall wonderful experience.
I have been here a number of times, and the service this time was incredibly slow and not attentive. For the price of a plate, the service should really be much better. I would hesitate before rebooking in the future.
Celebrate a wedding memory
Nice restaurant; if you have a party of more than three people, do not expect to dine at a window table.
Amazing view of the city. Great atmosphere. Live music. Definitely a great place for a romantic outing.
Spectacular views! Brunch was good! Service was average. Overall, a nice experience!
Sunday brunch prefix menu is the way to go! Beautiful view, great service, and delicious food without breaking your wallet.
Apart from the view, I felt that Top of the Hub offers nothing that I can't find elsewhere. To me it has lost some of it's charm and caters to the tourist crowd. Service was slow and the dress code needs to be enforced. For the amount of money I spent this past Saturday I shouldn't have to see a teenagers buttocks showing through her cutoff jean shorts. It's doubtful I will look to Top of the Hub for special events in the future.
It's an old favorite -- great for an easy meal after the BC Football game -- the Pru Center parking garage are very EXPENSIVE!
Spectacular in every way. The place to go for a special night out.
All I can say is outstanding once again! Beautiful sunset, great server, and the meal was perfect. Lobster Bisque, Duck, topped off with the sugar cake. Great night.
The oysters are not fresh, and the food is just ok. Totally not worth the price. It's a place you go for the view, not the food. There is a black stone or shell in my water. I'm glad my friend pointed it out. I didn't recall that they apologized.
