Beautiful atmosphere but lack luster food. Kitchen needs to try harder. Wonderful view however!
My husband and I both ordered the prix fixe 5 course dinner with wine pairings. The food AND the wine was incredible, with every dish better than the last one. Our server was incredible, the ambiance was incredible and the view was stunning. Thank you Top Of The Hub for a beautiful evening!!
we had a great tiime evenn we had a winter storm we couldn't see the view but service was excellent
Great food and great view -
Everything was great but failed every request we had for the evening while celebrating husbands birthday. The meal and server were fantastic though
The ambience is great.
The only thing that troubled us a little was that the waiters checked our table too often, made us wonder if that was to imply that we should hurry up...
It’s so romantic to sit right next to the window and see the beautiful view... LOVE IT!
We celebrated a career promotion! Everything was great!
Famous Boston spot first time trying it out. Beautiful views absolutely stunning restaurant. A little dated in some areas. The food was great but extremely expensive. It’s perfect for a special occasion but very special one lol
The view never disappoints - and the food complements the experience. Foodie-worthy menu. Delicious. Well prepared. Nicely presented. Interesting cocktails. Decent wine selection and moderate price. Great service. Have been a few times. Very consistent and will definitely go back. There's live music too if you fancy a drink at the bar.
A truly amazing dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday! Always an outstanding experience!
The View was incredible
Our waiter was courteous and accommodating - a gem! The food was less impressive, but maybe doesn't need to be given the great view from the Hub. My lobster bisque was fine, but nothing memorable and the Ceasar Salad was almost worthless - only white pieces of romaine with less the ordinary dressing.
WE BOTH ENJOYED OUR TIME GEATLY. THE FIVE COURSE MEAL WAS REALLY FUN AND TASTY. OUR WAITER LENNY WAS GREAT ---THANK YOU
The overall experience was great when the deserts were served for anniversary celebration but the service before that wasn't great at all
We loved it!! The food was so so the portions are little!!
It was wonderful overall. The noise level was high and it was hard to enjoy talking.
Went at the end of February, was probably 50-55 degrees inside. Could have been warmer.
It was our last night in Boston and we decided to go here. Unfortunately is was foggy so we couldn’t see the city well.. (it’s on the 52nd floor.)This place is awesome though. We sat by the window (highly recommend asking for a window seat.) The food was very good despite some locals saying it was “just ok.” Definitely a place to go if you are visiting! Would love to eat here again when it isn’t foggy. Amazing!
Wonderful! The wait staff was terrific and the food was great! Kudos to Tyler, our waiter, he's the best!
Everything was perfect, from the hostess who made me feel better about the rain and fog ("Think of it as dining in the clouds") to the wait staff, view, and excellent meal were amazing. Our special occasion? Met the sister I never knew I had for the first time - and it was lovely. 56 years and no clue. We have so much in common too, and so do our daughters. So glad I chose Top of the Hub because we'll never forget it :-)
I was there for my birthday and was worth everything. We had a special table next to the live band which was playing an amassing music. Food was very tasty and fresh, service excellent. ambiance was very classy and we just enjoyed every minute of our stay.
We are very happy for making the right choice of choosing this restaurant for my birthday.
I already recommended it to my friends and posted all pictures that I took in Facebook.
We definitely are coming back soon.
The service was very good and attentive. My steak was a somewhat under cooked but my girlfriends salmon was absolutely delicious. And the cesar salads we got were pretty good.
The Top of the Hub has a great view. The menu is varied and offers a tasting menu. They have a creative cocktail list. The food was very good. The servers were excellent. There sides can be shared and are a good size. One of us had a side and it was large enough for an entree. The server was attentive. After dinner we listened to jazz in the lounge/bar area. Nice bonus
Reservations I made well in advance with comments letting restaurant know we were celebrating 2 birthdays...
Table for 4 was nice and close to window. Evening started off fine. Main course arrived and my filet was well done( i ordered medium) i asked waiter to please take it back because it was over cooked. My guests all waited against my wishes to eat until my steak came back. It came back in ten-15 mins later rare purple in the middle. I showed the lady who asked me to cut into it. She apologized and took it back again. I forced my guests to eat their cold meals. The woman came back 5-10 mins later and said “here you go, we comped this filet”, dropped it down and walked away without waiting to see if it was as expected. It was not. It was the same steak , now crispy and dry on the outside and still raw inside. The waiter never came back to the table and checked on food or water glasses. I called over the mgr and handed him my plate and told him that the night was ruined and i would rather have just had a medium filet than a comped one. Why can’t a restaurant of their status cook a filet properly?
And why did the waiter disappear for the whole second half of the meal?? Clearly they are resting on the location and views. The dining room was not full on a Sat night and I prob would not go back.
There are too many great restaurants (steak) in Boston to put myself through the unprofessional, not up to par, dining room at the top of the hub again. They should never, never send out a $51. filet if they don’t know how to cook it....... unacceptable!
It was great! The prefixe menu was great! It was the perfect amount of food. I would have liked more bread though and the desert was very big!
Our waiter was very nice and was happy to take our photo at the end of the night.
Glorious view and delicious food. A special experience
It was really great lunch time for our wedding anniversary. I wanted to have dinner but could not find a time to reserve on that day. Thanks for staffs.
Top of the Hub is elegant yet affordable. Family of four stayed and enjoyed great view, food and service for 2 plus hours all for less than 75 dollars each. Top of the Hub is Top of my List
Amazing place, great service and Food perfect!!!! Very impressed
I have always wanted to go to Top of the Hub restaurant so I thought it would be perfect to celebrate with my husband for our one year anniversary. We had reservations for 9pm. When we walked in the hostess seemed less then enthusiastic and told us “stand over there and wait”. It was a little awkward waiting in the hallway next to other people eating but the wait wasn’t long. We were brought to a small table in the middle of several other tables. I asked about the empty table next to the window and was told it would be an additional 45 min wait. I agree to just be seated since it was already 9:15pm. After ordering our meal a couple walked over with the hostess and they asked to be seated at a table next to the window (same as I had done). She agree to move them and looked at me and said “you can’t move after ordering your food”.
Our food was good. We had the filet, the 2lbs lobster and creme brûlée but our service was very slow and we had to flag the waitress down whenever we needed something including drink refills. I’m assuming because we were in the middle of several other tables of guests and it wasn’t easy to get to us. She did seem to be attentive to other tables. Overall the food was good but the experience was not what I/we had hoped for.
Views that can’t be beat, excellent food (the truffle potatoes Au gratin are amazing and the Boston cream pie cake is something special), and great service. It’s worth every penny.
After a week in Boston on vacation for my sons 4th birthday, we finished with the Top of the Hub. It was everything we could have expected and then some. Food was great and arrived was exceptional. Suggest anyone that wants to see the city from a unique perspective you have your venue.
Engagement lunch 💍
She loved the lobster raviolis. I was si happy that she loved the view.
This was an excellent evening from beginning to end.
Food was cooked perfect. Great seating with a beautiful view! Dessert was so unique. 10 out of 10
Great time with family celebrating publication of a book!
Good staff made us very comfortable.
Kudos to Eoin!
Ian was a very attentive waiter. We enjoyed the food, the great view of Boston, the nice and quiet music in the background.
