Top of the Hub Ratings and Reviews
First off, want to compliment the service. Someone in our party has a wheelchair and they were easy going and accommodating right off the bat. They never rushed us to order, nor did they rush us to leave, and we were there quite a while after our meal. At one point, I spilled my water and multiple staff promptly came to the rescue, cleaning the spill and replacing plates/silverware/napkins, etc. So fast it was like a NASCAR pit crew.
The steak and lamb entrees were fantastic. Nuff said. The sides were also delicious, but I would have liked a bit more variety. The desert was a bit underwhelming *ahem creme brule ahem* but overall our meal was excellent.
Finally, you can't beat that view. Especially at night. It's great that you don't just for the unique view but also the food and drinks and service. All around an exceptional restaurant experience.
Service was great, at first I was seated at a table away from the view but we had requested to sit somewhere near the view with only having to wait a little time which was fine because the view was very much worth it. Food overall was decent as well as desert, when waiting for food they offered us bread with choices which was nice, appetizers was great, would definitely recommend if going for a special occasion and for a nice romantic get away, it’s a nice place where you’re able to just dress up and go out to enjoy the dinner. It was also nice because they validated parking, they don’t pay for the whole thing but they pay a good enough portion. Overall everything was good and it was a great experience!
For what I spent, I genuinely expected much more. We arrived 15 minutes early for a 7 p.m. reservation and were seated immediately, which was nice. However, we were seated next to a waiter's station, which was not so nice. I understand that there are seats that are not so great in every restaurant, but this was an annoyance nonetheless. The service itself was excellent, our waiter was kind and stopped by frequently. As far as the ambiance, the venue was pretty great. Nice lighting, the view was fantastic, and most everything seemed to convey quality and comfort. The biggest problem I had was with the food. We both ordered filet mignon, cooked medium and medium rare, and they were just average. For nearly $60 dollars per player I expected more. For being cooked fairly lightly the steaks had developed a char that I didn't anticipate and that didn't sit well with my palate. The cut didn't feel like the filet mignon I had come to expect from higher-end restaurants. The madeira sauce was a nice touch, but the whole meal just felt lacking. I had a filet from a Longhorn Steakhouse just the day before and it was excellent despite costing less than half as much. I can't really complain to the waiter that the meal was average. We ordered an accompaniment of potatoes au gratin that was underwhelming as well, but that didn't really faze us as the entree itself was so lackluster. The desert was decent, although I expected more for the price. Overall, that was the recurring theme for the evening: value. I understand that I'm not going to get a good deal, but I do expect a certain quality for what I paid for, something I'm afraid we did not receive.
We arrived a few minutes later than our reservation time and were still immediately seated. The hosts were very friendly. Our waiter was amazing and extremely helpful the entire night. He provided us with great insight into the menu and provided recommendations. He was kind enough to take photos of us as we were celebrating our 7 year anniversary. He even surprised us with dessert and wished up a happy anniversary. The entire evening was perfect. I plan on returning soon and referring all of my friends and family.
Beautiful place to have dinner. We were there early, so it was especially quiet. The New Years Eve pre-fixe menu was lovely - the only disappointment (for me) was no gluten-free dessert option. I have a hard time with ice cream and berries when everyone else at the table gets to have something decadent and beautiful.
Our meal was delicious, opted for a pre-fixed 5 course meal. Perfect sized portions, everything was cooked perfectly. Our server was one of the best we’ve ever had. Wish I could remember his name... beautiful view and a great night. Will come back for lunch with the kids soon.
This was great for a wedding aniversary after a day the ISG museum. Good public transportation and taxi service. Great view on a crystal clear night. Food was pretty good, given the price (you are paying for the view). Caesar salad had hardly any parm cheeze, duck breast meat was under cooked. Presentation of everything was very good and the staff was attentive. Very little wait for water efills, drinks etc. Wine list is excellent, but again, pretty high mark-up. Had the 724 Croze-Herm. at a reasonable price. In all a very enjoyable evening.
