Wonderful setting; lovely ambiance; attentive but not intrusive service (Mario is outstanding). Food and drinks were noteworthy; however, Chipotle Cobb Salad was too heavy on the Chipotle (overpowering to our taste). Burger on a brioche was lovely. Boston Cream Pie for dessert was magic. Price for lunch was as expected. Table by the window on the Downtown side offered an extraordinary view. All-in-all, worthwhile.

I loved it, from the food to the view of Boston. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the service. The server didn’t really interact with you, it was only “what would you like” “would you like anything else” and that’s it. She tell us how the food was or how we are doing. It felt like they were robots because they stood at a certain place and moved to their tables to ask the questions I said

We took our 11 year old foodie grandson to lunch there as a Christmas present. The view and ambiance were impressive as always! Our server was excellent and most of the dishes were very good. We're quite happy with our choice.

Good food. Nice views if you can find them. It's unfortunate that you cannot reserve a window table ahead of time. We are from RI and have been there three times in the last couple of months. Each time we are told that despite having reservations we would have to wait at the bar for a window seat to open up. Problem is that the bar is already crowded beyond capacity with people waiting for the same thing. So, even if you are willing to wait you end up standing in the passageway holding your drink and getting in the way of servers and people coming and going. Now, the food is good but it's not extraordinary. It's all about the views. Otherwise, it's a great dining experience and the validated Prudential parking is a nice touch.

View is amazing! Food was very good. The waiter was not great. He left us waiting several times for Rosing and thirsty. He forgot the birthday cake we had ordered in advance and was not appreciative of the 35% tip even though he didn’t earn it.

I was extremely disappointed overall. We went to celebrate our sons birthday and requested a window table. We got one, but in a section of the restaurant they knew had no heat. We had to sit in our coats the majority of the dinner. On top of that my medium rare filet was first sent overcooked. They promised one would be done correctly within a few minutes but by the time it was brought to my my whole family was finished eating. They did not charge me for it and did remember to sing happy birthday to our son so that was nice for him. I will not be returning to this restaurant anytime soon.

My husband and I wanted a romantic date night for our last night visiting Boston and Top of the Hub did not disappoint! We were coming from walking around the city and visiting museums, so we weren't dressed up [sneakers, jeans, long sleeve shirts], but we didn't feel out of place either. When we got to the restaurant, it was a little bit chaotic, I assume because dinner is such a rush. The hostess seemed a little flustered and I was worried she might even forget we were waiting to be seated [we had reservations for 5pm], but I quickly realized that large groups ahead of us were being seated and things were smoothing out. We were seated by about 5:10 which was perfectly fine to me. We were next to the window with a beautiful view of the city at night. The atmosphere was romantic and comfortable; we were never disturbed by excessive noise or disorganized/hectic activity by the staff or other patrons. We had the 5 course pre fix tasting dinner with wine pairings and everything was phenomenal! Our server, Victoria, was wonderful and incredibly pleasant. She explained each course concisely and with a smile. We never felt rushed or abandoned. She even went out of her way to accommodate my wish to have Boston Cream Pie instead of the Creme Brûlée that the course came with [though I did have a bit of my husband's, and it too was delicious]. Overall we are extremely pleased with our experience here and would definitely go again, as well as highly recommend it to others.

We celebrated my sister's and my niece's birthday over Sunday brunch at the Top of the Hub. It was perfect! We were fortunate to get a window seat, overlooking the Charles River- beautiful! The meal was terrific and big portions. Well worth the price. Our server was a lovely lady- so very sweet and accommodating. We had a wonderful time and the memories will last a lifetime.
Thank you!

First off, want to compliment the service. Someone in our party has a wheelchair and they were easy going and accommodating right off the bat. They never rushed us to order, nor did they rush us to leave, and we were there quite a while after our meal. At one point, I spilled my water and multiple staff promptly came to the rescue, cleaning the spill and replacing plates/silverware/napkins, etc. So fast it was like a NASCAR pit crew.

The steak and lamb entrees were fantastic. Nuff said. The sides were also delicious, but I would have liked a bit more variety. The desert was a bit underwhelming *ahem creme brule ahem* but overall our meal was excellent.

Finally, you can't beat that view. Especially at night. It's great that you don't just for the unique view but also the food and drinks and service. All around an exceptional restaurant experience.

Service was great, at first I was seated at a table away from the view but we had requested to sit somewhere near the view with only having to wait a little time which was fine because the view was very much worth it. Food overall was decent as well as desert, when waiting for food they offered us bread with choices which was nice, appetizers was great, would definitely recommend if going for a special occasion and for a nice romantic get away, it’s a nice place where you’re able to just dress up and go out to enjoy the dinner. It was also nice because they validated parking, they don’t pay for the whole thing but they pay a good enough portion. Overall everything was good and it was a great experience!

For what I spent, I genuinely expected much more. We arrived 15 minutes early for a 7 p.m. reservation and were seated immediately, which was nice. However, we were seated next to a waiter's station, which was not so nice. I understand that there are seats that are not so great in every restaurant, but this was an annoyance nonetheless. The service itself was excellent, our waiter was kind and stopped by frequently. As far as the ambiance, the venue was pretty great. Nice lighting, the view was fantastic, and most everything seemed to convey quality and comfort. The biggest problem I had was with the food. We both ordered filet mignon, cooked medium and medium rare, and they were just average. For nearly $60 dollars per player I expected more. For being cooked fairly lightly the steaks had developed a char that I didn't anticipate and that didn't sit well with my palate. The cut didn't feel like the filet mignon I had come to expect from higher-end restaurants. The madeira sauce was a nice touch, but the whole meal just felt lacking. I had a filet from a Longhorn Steakhouse just the day before and it was excellent despite costing less than half as much. I can't really complain to the waiter that the meal was average. We ordered an accompaniment of potatoes au gratin that was underwhelming as well, but that didn't really faze us as the entree itself was so lackluster. The desert was decent, although I expected more for the price. Overall, that was the recurring theme for the evening: value. I understand that I'm not going to get a good deal, but I do expect a certain quality for what I paid for, something I'm afraid we did not receive.

We arrived a few minutes later than our reservation time and were still immediately seated. The hosts were very friendly. Our waiter was amazing and extremely helpful the entire night. He provided us with great insight into the menu and provided recommendations. He was kind enough to take photos of us as we were celebrating our 7 year anniversary. He even surprised us with dessert and wished up a happy anniversary. The entire evening was perfect. I plan on returning soon and referring all of my friends and family.

Went for the New Years Eve special and honestly the only satisfying part was the view. The foods was shockingly terrible and the entrees were cold. The desert was insultingly cheap and tasteless. Not at all what one would expect for $200 per person.
