The view was excellent!!! I guess it’ll be more romantic at night but still very nice👍🏻 The food was on point with the price; the taste was excellent and the plating was just fabulous. must-go restaurant if you are visiting Boston. ❤️
The view was the star and it was perfect, but the food was great too! The shrimp cocktail was okay, the cocktail sauce tasted like just ketchup [I couldn't taste the horseradish at all] and so it was totally not worth $21. The lobster ravioli was to die for, although it was expensive. It was rich and filling. The lemon drop martini was perfect! The service was excellent. The music was relaxing. I enjoyed the experience totally!
Service was extremely average. Id only return for the view.
Food and service were excellent! View was exceptional.
Sat in the lounge, and got the Top of the Hub burger. While the view was excellent the food was less than average and very overpriced for the quality and taste. Could have gotten a better buger elsewhere for cheaper. The server was friendly, but nothing was memorable about this experience besides the view. Probably would not come back.
I love the view, the food & the service 😊😊😊😊
Celebrating a birthday and anniversary the Top of the Hub is always the place to be!
My wife had her birthday dinner here and she loved it as we all did.... great view, great food
The waiters were and helping staff were hospitable, attentive and full of a lot of positive vibes as they waited different tables. The manager was outstanding. He made sure our dining experience was top of the line, and he was absolutely pleasant. I’d certainly return to Top of the Hub!
The staff is awesome! We were celebrating our 13th anniversary. We also brought along our two kids. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating and seated us at a table with the best view of the city! We were running a bit late and had to extend our reservation and the staff was very accommodating. Thank you and we will be back soon!
Enjoyed a lovely brunch with great college friends. High-end food and service with great views of Boston.
Great dining experience with a beautiful view of Boston. Perfect for a date night or an anniversary dinner!
Excellent restaurant ! Good food, good service, excellent view!
Did not realize you could not bring drinks in from another restaurants because I’m from Louisiana and this is permitted. Chuck the bartender refused to serve me because of this which is ridiculous because we didn’t know
Visited for dinner to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday, and it was spectacular! We were seated in the corner with amazing views beginning from just before sunset until late dark. It was the experience of a lifetime!!
Food was so-so at best but the view was great!
Spectacular views. Good food and very attentive service. A goid place for those special occasions!
Went with family on a Sunday evening. Wasn't very busy. Very nice setting and good service. Jazz band playing in corner with pleasant music. Can't beat the view while you are eating. SUPER awesome. Couple of veggie options. Tofu noodle bowl great for vegans. Good drinks. Definitely something to do in Boston at least once.
Extremely disappointed with my food. We went there for our anniversary with my fiancé. She got the fillet minion and I got the duck. Both my appetizer (lobster bisque) and duck dish were cold and hard. We have been going for our anniversary every year and this was by far the worst experience.
Always amazing at the top of the hub, view food everything really top notch feel.
Second time we have been here. Nice ambiance. For anniversary. A bit overpriced. I would come next time to the bar and get hor’orderves.
I brought my friend to celebrate her 40th birthday there. We are from California so it was our first time there. Definitely love the place and the food was fantastic. We had the 5 course fix menu and it was definitely an experience. Very memorable birthday celebration and dinner for both of us.
Staff, food, view all tops..
Seriously recommend on a visit to Boston.
Clear day and the view was incredible.
Great over all experience- however I booked a month in advance for a window table and view, and were seated in a corner away from the window. Server was amazing! Food was amazing!
Was my birthday and they was very attention!! Very good!!
Everything was very nice! But in said it was SO COLD!!!!!
If I was in Boston again I wouldn't go back. Value was the worst of any of our meals on a 6 day trip. Our bill was $450 for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids.
Some food dishes - wet aged steak and scallops great. Ciopinno and Halibut lacking.
Nice waiter but not empowered to make decisions to create loyal customers or lasting impact.
Price - overcharged view
Service mentality from staff: Fire alarm went off loudly for 30 of 70 minute visit - not one complimentary drink or desert offered. Just listen to a blaring alarm while you eat with a waiter apology.
Value - horrible
Would we go back - no
Was the view great - Yes
Food - average many better restaurants in Boston
Great views of the city. Excellent service. Food was ok. Wish the menu had more choices. Would definitely come back.
Amazing ambiance, food & live music with the best views of the city. Had a fabulous night entertaining friends from California who were visiting Boston for the first time. They absolutely loved it & thought it was the best way to kick off their trip here!
Ian was fantastic and very knowledgeable about wine pairings. We requested a window table and got even better than what we expected!
Wonderful view, better service!
You are paying for the view—go early enough to score a window table! Otherwise you are not getting what you paid for....
Requested window seating for daughter's birthday, didn't get it. Very disappointing. Food was good not great. Went before for anniversary. Probably won't go there again. Not worth the money.
I preferred to have had my seating by the window as i asked for, it was first time i wanted to get some great pic without being all over other people's table. I also dont like how the tables in the middle was so close to others. I felt you having a conversation with your partner, date ect it should be only heard by you too. The tables was to close to other couples as i wouldve liked it.
I'm not from Boston, so i'm not sure if everyone is just rude and that's the norm, but our waiter was pretty rude while we were ordering. I was looking forward to having a nice dinner, but the waiter kept making snide and condescending remarks while we were deciding on what to eat.
My food was great, but I expected a lot better from an establishment like this.
Awesome, food was great and the view made the night
I Spent a lot of money for dinner for four people. We were going to take a few pictures until a employee, not our waitress, told us we could go down to the fifthet floor and take pictures on the observation deck. We thought okay, no problem for us.
We went shortly thereafter to the observation floor. We saw the signs that said there was a $20 entrance fee per person. I went up to to the employee working the front desk. I told him we just had dinner upstarts at Top of the Hub, and we were told to come down here to take pictures. The man said we still have to pay. I told him I don't see why since we would have finished taking our pictures upstairs if we weren't told to come downstairs. We had a table next to the window looking out, why would we pay $80 to take the same pictures we could have taken in the restaurant?
I told him I had the receipt of what we paid for dinner if he would like to see it? He said no, it wouldn't do any good because your waiter would have to escort you down. I said, I think the waiters had more important things to do than leave their other guests and walk us downstairs. He said, sorry we have to pay. He could not see the problem. Needless to say we left without any pictures, which was a big reason to dine at your restaurant since we're from out of town.
Anyone could see how ridiculous their policy was. This put such a bad taste in our mouths that it ruined our dinner and ruined our evening. I would never go back, the food was mediocre, good but not spectacular. The only reason to go there is to see the view, but what good is it, if you can't take pictures. Trying to charge an extra $80 for picture taking is upsured.
Service was great. Menu not much variety. Mojito great. I would go back again.
