Had a birthday dinner for a friend. While I am told the food was outstanding (I don't eat) I usually own have water. They did not have either brand of water I normally drink. So I sat there not eat or drinking.
Our server was very good trying to keep me happy, but it wasn't working. He sang to us in Chinese and Spanish. He was awesome. But I was the one paying the bill and I couldn't get a simple glass of water.... Yet for some reason they have a fully stocked bar and a wine book (and I drink water, I was out of luck) short story, I am very unhappy. All I wanted was to enjoy a nice night and have a glass of water.
Loved absolutely everything!! Food was great, service was great, the view is absolutely astonishing!!
We enjoyed lunch...no appetizers, no drinks: $156 before tip. That is expensive. The restaurant is nice enough, but with parking (net of valet was $15) and total cost I'd say it is over priced. We enjoyed afternoon views. My wife ordered lobster ravioli...the serving was surprisingly controlled ($46) and I enjoyed a filet which was cooked perfectly yet moderately flavorful. Desert was cobbler and cheesecake; both were perfectly average. No complaints. Just would chose to spend that kind of money elsewhere.
The entire staff treated Chris and I like royalty from the moment we walked in until our departure. The scenic view was priceless as we got window seating. We also got the skywalk tour. The entire staff is really dedicated at providing the utmost white glove service throughout the entire dinner. One of our most cherished dining experiences was at the Hub!
Came for my 2 year anniversary with my boyfriend. We had an incredible night and the staff made us feel so welcome. They kept wishing us a happy anniversary at every chance they got. I would definitely come back!!
We both had the prix fix menu with additional wine pairing. Wonderful meal, view, and service!
From beginning to end, our experience was top notch. Our server, whose name I cannot spell, was attentative, made suggestions when asked, was prompt on every request and was spot on. The view was awesome. The food was exceptional. My friend says the lobster bisque was phenomenal. My scallops were cooked, no lie, to perfection. Seems like I'm gushing but seriously, it was a very, very enjoyable, relaxing evening. Yes, expensive, but we were not disappointed.
This is a fabulous place to go for a special occasion, especially in the daytime when you get a spectacular view. Food and service are top notch.
The view was exceptional. The food was just okay, certainly not worth the price. The service was slow and disheveled. It is a nice place to go for a drink. I suggest getting dinner somewhere else.
We had a wonderful lunch with our daughter to celebrate our 25th anniversary.
We had the lunch pre- fix with the stuffed half lobster ( the saffron sauce and potatoes were amazing ) Creme Brûlée which was beautiful and wonderful .
Our waiter whose name we didn’t get because of the very loud music ( after we asked, he turned it down immediately), was so very nice and sweet.
Thank you for a wonderful lunch- we will be back for sure.
Window table and a clear night made for a great setting. Jazz band excellent.
Birthday. Was nice.
We enjoyed our visit. A relaxing and pleasant evening.
We were made to feel most welcome as we celebrated our anniversary. The service and food quality was excellent. This experience far exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed an excellent view of downtown Boston.
The quality of everything was outstanding as usual. And the view of the Boston area is second to none.
I had a great time. The food was awesome. Make sure you arrive 15 minutes before reservations time so you have time for id check and elevator
Food was over priced considering how the quality was. the size of the desert was unreasonably large. the bread was cold. the waiter was talking only to my husband, completely ignored me when he was doing the introduction or asking how the food was. pretty bad experience for almost $300 spend.
I Drove about an hour and half to celebrate my wife's birthday at your restaurant. My intentions were to show her a sophisticated dining experience. Unfortunately, we did have this experience.
We were extremely uncomfortable. Your staff does not enforce the dress code. There were guest next to us with shorts and workout clothes.
I did my research and this restaurant was highly recommend for the occasion I had in mind. You post your dress code on your website and I guided my plans around this.
I hope you have a courtesy gift card so I may have an opportunity to dine the way you advertise
The food is very good and so the service. It is a pity that the tea is in a tea bag and not with a tea pot. A place like this I would expect use loose leaf tea and bring it at the table with a tea pot and strainer.
Had a terrible experience. The food and service isn’t that great. Only go here for the ambience. And if you are lucky, you can get a really nice seat where you can get a beautiful view of Boston.
We have been to the Top of the Hub many times and since they have changed their menu. The quality wasn’t the same as before and the value increased. The service was really fast as if they were trying to turn tables over quickly for quantity of people not quality. We talked about going else where in the future.
Overall great dining experience with an amazing view of Boston. The food was outstanding!
Beautiful restaurant with amazing views. Food was magnificent! and the side dishes were enough for sharing. I would only wish they could reserved the window table as we requested. It was our 15th anniversary and that could it be more special. I know it's not a warranty, however they should look for this special occasions to arrange the tables in the window. Great staff that went beyond and bring us to the observatory. Unfortunately can't remember the name of the girl but she was great taking care of us during dinner time. Great place! we are looking to come back for sure.
Food was very good. We had the chefs 5 course menu. Filet was excellent. Unfortunately the service lets the place down. Waited 30 minutes at table before we were even asked what we would like to drink. And an hour for food.
Top of the Hub was fantastic. My wife and I went to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. It was our first time and the service was amazing.
We were in town on vacation and this restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. We are so glad we went! The food was delicious, the view was unbeatable, and the service impeccable. You’ll definitely want to make a reservation, especially on a Friday or Saturday night.
The view and ambience were amazing! Our server was also one of the best! Knowledgeable, personable, and very energetic. He really made our experience the best. I will say though that I was disappointed with the food. I had been really excited to try it. Our first round was awesome, the oysters were delicious, tuna tartar with the watermelon was unreal, and the cheese selection was amazing. However, our main meals and sides fell short. The scallops were firm and chewy, the lobster was tough and overdone. I'll be back for a cocktail and app overlooking the city, but not for dinner.
I brought out of town family to the Top of the Hub. It was a beautiful day. We were shown to our seats and had an amazing view. The server, i feel badly i don't remember his name, he was tall handsome black gentleman who couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. The food was great but secondary to his service. I look forward to returning.
Been many times. Always great experience. Service and food are terrific and no better view
Phenomenal service, food was delicious, and left satisfied! Server was on top of everything and was friendly which made my first time experience easy going. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone no matter what the occasion is.
Excellent food and excellent service . View was amazing.
Dined at Top of the Hub for our 2nd Anniversary. Top service, excellent food, and a view that cannot be topped. Wonderful experience with memories that we will treasure a lifetime.
I visited the Top Of The Hub for a special dinner date with my boyfriend. The view from the top and the ambience was definitely worthwhile however the service was very poor. We did get a good table and the food although overpriced was delectable. What I was really disappointed about was the service by the staff. The server who attended to us was extremely rude and disrespectful. He lectured us about a few things and also hurried us to order and leave. He was highly condescending in the way he communicated with us and kept cutting us off when we would try to speak; which I especially didn't appreciate. He was also rude when asked to take a picture.
An absolutely fantastic dining experience.
I give this restaurant the highest recomandation .
Great view, awful service. Food was sub par. Better off just grabbing a drink there and taking in the view.
View is great with a window seat but we didn't have one which limited our view significantly. A bit of a disappointment - it would be nice to see them elevate the second row of tables or switch to high tops for the second row in the lounge to give all patrons an opportunity to take in the view.
We had a good time, food , and service was as good as its reputation.
Went for the Brunch. 4 courses, each better than the previous. Nice size portions , Good Drinks and a Friendly, Polite and Personable staff.
Cold food, poor managers service, said he was done my me a favor by taking a confirmed letter that I had, that I paid over $150.00 for brunch for two.
It was to the point where it was not worth getting the manager and telling them about it.
This is a tourist trap, if your from the area, please don’t waste your time, your paying for the view. Don’t waste your money get a post card of the view.
They will NEVER see me back.
