Tony's Italian Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
We were met at the door by Toni himself. I said you must be Toni he said I am in his retired gangster voice. I felt we were in a scene of a movie. He sat us and resumed pacing. I gather he runs a tight ship. It was not busy we had reservations at 7:00/7:30. Our waitress was attentive and paced for us just right. It was our Anniversary. She apologize and thought she was not there for us as Toni asked her to help with a outside large group. Do not order the dessert. Not made in house. No pastry chief (industrial ). The bruschetta is to die for. I make better Caesar Salad dressing. And my husband said your Lasagna is much better. I have to agree. My pasta was good. Good enough to box up. It is a very cute place out of the way. Visit Toni He is waiting to meet you.
excellent food and service. The selections were good - the setting very nice and a destination
restaurant to attend.
Good place to talk and not have outlandish noise in the background. SO many restaurants now
make you feel you have to leave because of all the noise.
Tony is always very welcoming and genuinely appreciates the patronage of his restaurant. The food and ambience is wonderful. I like that the food is healthier than most Italian and a bit lighter as he uses fresh ingredients. Server has always made great recommendations that we appreciate
We wanted a new option for dinner for my 40th birthday and selected Tony's. I made a reservation for 4 at 6:30. We waited over 30 minutes for a table despite the restaurant being half empty. The waiter was nice but was new so he had to ask the manager several of our questions. The food was adequate but not worth the price - Olive Garden quality with an Olive Garden price. I didn't want Chaim Italian food - I wanted authentic as Tony's claimed to be
Our meal was excellent and the atmosphere was very cozy and filled with regulars who know Tony and love his restaurant. We recommend it for special occasions or just for a great affordable meal on a work night when we don't want to cook at home. We will definitely come back.
We were very disappointed that they did not have the patio open. It was in the low 70's and it was very slow at 5:00 so I don't know why they refused to let us sit on the patio 50ft away from where we were seated. Very disappointed . The waitress was awesome and the food was great. I think it was a poor decision to not open the patio that night!!!!!!! It made me think that It didn't matter it was my man's birthday and the manager at the time refused to meet the patron's request!! I was so looking forward to sitting outside since the weather was warm and delightful....but they did put us next to a window.
I went with my daughter and a friend before seeing Cabaret. We had an excellent waitress and the food was outstanding. My vegetarian friend had the eggplant and my daughter and I had the blackened salmon. The salad was cold and crispy with a wonderful Italian dressing. The ambience is so relaxing.
I will go back again soon and take my husband. Would highly recommend!
We booked a reservation for 730 and arrived at 710. The owner(?) greeted us after a couple minutes and when we told him we had a reservation for 730 he told us it would be another 15 minutes (without even looking at the computer or anything). There were plenty of tables open.
We finally made it to our seats at 740 (the table was open the entire time). After that, it was smooth sailing. Our server was very nice and attentive. My portion of eggplant Parmesan was giant (although, the side of pasta was quite small in comparison).
Food is decent, ambiance is traditional, service is good. Unsure about the seating issue.
Wonderful dining experience. Tony always makes you feel so welcome. The food was fabulous. We been there several times but this was the first time I've had The chicken Parmesan at the suggestion of our fabulous server. The chicken was so tender you could cut it with a fork, the sauce was light as was the breading which was a delightful surprise
We always enjoy visiting this restaurant but this was one of my favorites
Filet mignon was fantastic, everything else was disappointing. Shrimp cocktail was overcooked and presentation was silly with an abundance of unnecessary cocktail sauce. Caprese salad had no balsamic glaze, Caesar salad was overwhelmed by sardine paste. We felt rushed through our dinner by our server. We ended up going to the bar to finish our drinks. Nobody on the staff was overly friendly. Certainly not the welcoming environment we once knew.
Wonderful atmosphere. The food was superb. We were a party of four and we all ordered something different and all of our meals were excellent. Ordered Veal Saltimbocca, Veal Parmesean, Blackened Salmon , and the Veal Daily Special. The Lemon Cake with strawberry sauce- out of this world.
Disappointed in this for my Valentine's date night out. They were 15 minutes behind when I had a reservation, while there were a ton of open tables. The server was robotic and awful, the man who led us to our table didn't even wait for us when he just walked to the table, not very friendly at all. I don't think this place deserves to be considered formal when the service was so terrible. The food was just adequate. The filet mignon presentation was awful like it was just slapped on a plate and I could have done much better at home (and have). My chicken marsala was good but the side dish of penne was laughable. Wine pours were good so I'll give them that, and I needed it. Won't be back.
This is a nice place, I think the portion to price is not there, I think they could added more to a plate of chopped up romanie lettuce with very little dressing and they charged 6.95 for that, the place is nice but the prices do not met what the food is given to you. You charge 28.00 for a steak but you are giving someone 3-1/2 ounces of steak.
