Tony's Italian Ristorante
This was one of the worst meals we had at Tony’s. It’s going to be a long time before we go back.
This a good consistent Italian restaurant. Portions are not overly large but ample. Pretty good wine list. Reservation are a recommended especially on Friday and Saturday
Show at the Palace
Always love eating here. Great service and very good food. Great place for a romantic evening out.
Great Italian restaurant. We liked it so much, we booked it for the rehearsal dinner for our son’s wedding. Met Tony. Nice guy. I’ll be back.
This is hands-down the best garlic bread around. The soup was amazing and my husband had the veal, which was super. I got the lasagna didn’t care for the peppers in it which threw the taste off.
Tony's was great. We love this place especially for a pre-concert dinner. The food is a beautiful light Italian fare. The service was impeccable and timed perfectly . We definitely recommend Tony's to anyone who wants to enjoy a fantastic meal and be able to carry on a conversation.
Our server was dry, no personality, never greeted us, never introduced himself, never asked how our meal was. He brought our food and drinks but didn't speak. It was to the point of ruining our evening out because he made his presence so uncomfortable and made us feel like an inconvenience.
Convenient for dinner before show at Palace Theater
The seafood and chicken specials were both delightful.
Tony's Own Fettuccine was disappointing; more sauce than pasta, shrimp and scallaops were small salad size pieces and crab looked like strips of imitation crab. There was so much suave I could not taste anything else. On a positive note the ambiance was nice, service good and appetizers and soup were excellent.
Really enjoyed the evening. Wasn't rushed and had an excellent server. First that I've been there for some time, but am looking forward to returning again.
Service was excellent and the food delicious! I will definitely return.
Tony's has the best veal and wedding soup in the Columbus area. It is absolutely my favorite restaurant.
The food was absolutely amazing and our server was on top of it the whole time! They have the best Italian dressing I’ve ever had, and I cleaned every single plate including dessert. We will definitely be back very soon!
For some reason that I cannot remember, it has been many years since we have dined at Tony's, but we are so glad that we thought to go there for dinner on Friday night. The ease of parking in one of their lots made it easy to do so, and we were in for a pleasant surprise once we entered the restaurant.
The old interior consisting of small dining rooms has been replaced (apparently several years ago) with a lovely dining room with vaulted ceilings and a Tuscan or Umbrian vibe. We received a warm welcome from the host who showed us to our table. I had made some requests about the kind of table we preferred, and happily, they honored our request.
The server was very nice and very professional, and he was also willing and able to answer questions and comment on some of the menu items we were considering. When the wedding soup arrived and was so delicious, it reminded us of wedding soup we have had in Italy and in the home of Italian friends. I loved my fettuccine madonna, which was so yummy it was almost addictive, and my husband really enjoyed his veal scallopine. We shared the limoncello cake, which we both enjoyed.
Our experience at Tony's was excellent, and we plan to visit again soon.
Be prepared to wait. The restaurant was small, which allowed for little servers, and long wait list. Having a reservation didn’t matter, because upon walking in, we were told to wait for 15 minutes which turned into 30. Normally I wouldn’t complain, or even notice, but their were open tables all over and the lobby was full of people waiting to sit. The dynamic between the owner, and the staff is bizarre and shows unprofessionalism. The food was just alright, however the cannoli was above average. I’m unsure if we will be back.
Wonderful restaurant. You definitely need reservations and they time things out well. Very nice wine list with some great wines. The food....in a word was delightful.
Our dinner at Tony’s was very nice. I like that it’s not loud like so many restaurants are now. Food and service was excellent.
The food was really good. The wait for our table was over 30minutes past our reservation time.
Our server was excellent, the meals were very good and the lemon cake was out of this world. Only complaint is that others with he same reservation time were seated before us even though we checked in 10 min before they did.
Veal San Marino is the most fabulous veal dish I have eaten. Order with spaghetti in oil or butter with grated cheese. Mix in with veal sauce . Fsbulous
Had to get an extra cannoli to go, because they were so good!
We were there for a Valentines Day dinner and onto jazz concert. We were helped from the moment we entered with our father in his wheelchair. Accommodating and exceptional service. Food was excellent and such a great value. Glad we rediscovered this Columbus gem. It will be our new pre-show dinner spot!
Tony's Restaurant is a long-time favorite of ours. The food, service, and entire experience is always top-notch. The menu is loaded with traditional Italian items; you are sure to find something you like. Reservations are suggested.
Excellent service from Lacey.
Traditional Italian cuisine. Great meatballs. Amazing chicken livers as well. The servers are awesome. Even Tony makes sure everything is going well.
Secret on Beck st.! Food was amazing, service very good..a four only because we had to prompt for our check. Was a great evening. Thank you Tony's!!
Love this place. Nice ambience, excellent service.
one of my wife's favorite places, & I agree. Always good food, good service, good value, & friendly.
We always eat at Tonys before the theatre. It is our special date night. Our food is always excellent. The staff at Tony's are friendly and knowledgeable. I always get their salmon and my husband gets the dinner special and finishes it wth their tiramisu which he claims is the best in the city. We try and ask for Brooke because she is great and we have never been late to the theatre.
My favorite Italian restaurant in Columbus. Great food and service. My favorite is the veal park, no patty here, this is veal sounded thin and breaded. It is excellent! I've been coming here 20 years, it never disappoints!!!
We love Italian Foods and this was top of the list all around.....atmosphere was cozy, clean, warm and our service was fantastic.....well trained staff. (So rare these days) he knew the menu and kept our table spotless. The food was heavenly. We would like to go back to Columbus just to eat there....😁
Food was good; service was slow. Will return.
Overall good experience. Food was just ok. Was hoping to wow my out of town guests but it just didn’t happen.
Best Italian restaurant in Columbus.
Awesome food and service!
We had a very nice evening at Tony’s. The veal parmigiana is excellent. Great service. Easy parking.
Excellent food. The veal was the best I've ever tasted. Can't wait to go back. A Gem.
