Spavone's restaurant is one of the few in Chicagoland where the owner regularly serenades his guests with a song; where a restaurant full of people cheerfully sing along to whatever tune catches their fancy; where a roomful of diners routinely gets up to form a giant conga line.

Food was very good. Great appetizers, and the entrees were very good. Lots of choices. Service was also very good.

My wife and I accidentally discovered this place on a Friday evening. Boy were we thrilled and excited by our find. We took our close friends to this place on my wife's birthday and they were thrilled too. Tony is an amazing vocalist and keeps the whole place rocking with his tunes. We also had one of his staffs also sing a few songs and boy were they rocking. Love the service and the food is out of the world.

My husband and I always enjoy the ambience at Spavones. It's not to many places you can go where the owner sings to you, and Tony does it well. The food is excellent and the service is great as well.

We went to Tony's for my fathers 100th birthday on April 1st. Our waiter Mitchell was a gem. Very attentive and he had some great stories about Chicago. The food was excellent as always. Everything was ready for this s when we arrived. The portions are very generous. Tony sang to my Dad which was so nice. I will be going back again when we go to visit my Dad.

The food was "okay". I ordered the shrimp scampi which was rubbery. My friend ordered linguine with shrimp and enjoyed hers. The bread was very good. The cheesecake dessert was NOT calorie worthy - the topping was good but the cheese cake itself was kind of tasteless. Our server was clearly new so we made allowances for that, and other servers seemed to step in to refill drinks, etc as needed.
