Tony Roma's - Sunny Isles Beach Ratings and Reviews
EN BUEN LUGAR LO UNICO QUE NO ME PERECE QUE CUANDO TIENEN BASTANTE CLIENTES.. LA ATENSION NO ES MUY BUENA INCLUSO ME PASO QUE NUNCA ME LLEGARON A MI MESA 2 PLATOS DE COMIDA QUE SE HABIAN PEDIDO Y ATIENDEN MUY APURADOS Y NO QUIEREN EXPICAR MUCHO.
Haven't been to Tony Roma's in years. We went for New Years Eve dinner. What a nice surprise. The hostesses were awesome. Our waiter, Kyle, was fantastic. Food was delicious. We had the onion loaf, beef ribs and baby backs. Bread sucked but that was a plus since I didn't fill up on it.
I've heard a lot of hype about Tony Roma's, so while on vacation we decided to give it a shot. The food was ok, nothing spectacular. The prices were definitely far to high for the quality and amount of food you got. The alcoholic drinks, aside from the wine, were highly priced and contained very little alcohol. Could have gotten the same quality service and food at any run of the mill chain restaurant for a lot less money.
Casual chain restaurant, similiar to a TGI Fridays. We had never heard of the restaurant before so we were a bit surprised about the decor when we walked in.... nothing wrong but we didn't realize it was a chain like Fridays or Chilis. We stayed but were a bit embarrassed since we felt overdressed. Our servers were very kind and knowledgeable. Started with the onion loaf that was good not great. We both enjoyed our dinners; shrimp skewers and a southern style chicken sandwich
We came here while vacationing in Sunny Isles and it was my fiances birthday. Started with happy hour, which had great prices on drinks and appetizers. The staff was friendly. Erik made our experience even better. For dinner I had the New York Strip and loaded baked potato, my fiance had the filet and half rack of ribs with loaded baked potato. Wow. Best steaks we have had in a long time. The garlic butter sauce they top them with was amazing and they were cooked to perfection. The ribs were also delicious. We enjoyed the food so much we went back the next night and had the bison meatballs and mac-n-cheese. Again, just amazing. We highly recommend this place for great food and friendly staff.
It was Saturday night at 7:30 and the place was empty. That should have been a clue. Everything was ok but nothing was great. The server was nice when he did get a chance to come by but he didn't come by too often. Service was slow but that was because he got a large table and he may have been the only server there
We love Tony Roma's and have been to T/R Restaurants all over the country. Good food and service - we were happy with the our meals and service. At the beach all day, didn't eat until dinner, and we ate earlier than usual - about 6pm. Could have gotten a bit "crazier" later, but great quiet atmosphere, we could easily carry on a conversation. Overall, a very positive experience - as we've experienced from all Tony Roma's.
Really bad experience at Tony Romas for our group. We was 10 people having an evening dinner. We had some starter and that was ok then the problems started for us. 9 of us received their food but 1 was missing. Not anything special at all, the same dish at 5 other of us had the Bbq baby back ribs. After 5 minutes the plate arrived. 2 plates of the baby back ribs was totally carbon on the underneath side and totally uneatable. We told our waitress about the ribs and they should take care of it. After 7-10 minutes no new ribs. We told another waiter about our problem and after 10 more minutes no new ribs. We then have to search for a waiter and finally we found one and explained our problem. No problem it should be fixed but after 10 more minutes no ribs and then we left the table paid for the eatable plates and left for quick burgers at a nearby burger king. Really bad experience.
Under staffed. Filet undercooked and tasted bad. Too many screaming children and a barking dog. Yes, a barking dog inside the restaurant. Thought it was just another screaming baby at first. Crayons and utensils were lying on the floor.
I won't return. My husband did enjoy his ribs though.
We were a party of 9 before 5pm. The restaurant was empty but it still took 35 minutes for our food to arrive. Three food orders were incorrect. Two drink orders were incorrect and never corrected. At one point the waitress started yelling "I can't handle an order this big" - we'll at least she was honest.
We didn't have a great mothers day . Took forever to greet . No hostesses , the food was to much for the quality . It was like eating at a fast food that took longer . No kid friendly . Employees were more concern about closing n afew of them said they eye not on the clock
My family and I went to Tony Romas for Mother's Day. We had reservations but our table wasn't prepared. When we sat down our waiter didn't ask if we wanted drinks to start, he took our drink orders with our food orders. It took about 30 mins for us to get our drink orders. The service manager came out and got a handle on the situation when she saw we had waited an hr for our food. Food came out in pieces instead of having all the orders ready at the same time. They were understaffed but even after our orders came out a couple orders were wrong. They said they dont serve mustard for their burgers as well. When someone ordered coffee they brought tea. We ordered 4 deserts and it took another 40 mins to get those. It was a little after 2pm when we sat down and it was 5pm when we left.
Very limited menu back in the 90s and early 2000s tony romas use to be the place to go .now I see why so many have shut down in south Florida.there is no comparison at all with Cheesecake Factory you spend the same amount of money and get 3 times the amount of food .the appetizer they have chicken lollipop a total joke 6 chicken wings for 12 dollars .not the same restaurant as back in the 90 and 2000 I see why every one goes to Cheesecake Factory will never go back again
