The food was excellent and the view was very pleasant
The service was spot on, often enough and not too intrusive. The food was perfectly seasoned with a delicious flavor. We shared the salmon appetizer, the crab cakes and blackened red fish. Would highly recommend this restaurant!
Just okay. Nothing outstanding about the food or service.
Great Georgetown waterfront views. Service was excellent and good seafood.
Inattentive wait staff. Food was sloppy and I became ill after eating he crab cakes.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Tony & Joe's. My husband had the Caesar salad and had the mixed greed salad which I really liked. He had the salmon on a plank while I had the puttenesca. Mine was divine--very spicy with capers and calamatas.
Our only problem was the distance to walk from the garage. I use a cane and was exhausted by the time we got there.
The food was delicious and I loved the ambiance, view and sevice.
Great food and a lively atmosphere. Nice scenic view.
Awesome. Service was exceptional.
Our 2nd time dining here at Tony and Joe's and the food and service was just as good. From the salads, crab and shrimp dip, my crab cakes and his ribs, everything was fantastic. We will definitely be back whenever possible.
I love this place! My sisters and I go there for our annual once a month happy hour/dinner girl talk.
Had a date with my husband using a groupon- food and setting just beautiful- not the sort of place we go to often so it was a nice treat. Had enough food to hold some over for dinner later in the day. Hubby had two crabcakes and I had the hot pot- both full of high quality seafood. I would skip dessert here- they were dried out a bit. Wish the groupon gave you the choice for soup as that would have been nice on the cool day we were having.
Great location on the Potomac in Georgetown. Menu is focused on seafood. I had the sea bass with risotto, which was well prepared.
Great Sunday brunch with a wonderful jazz trio which made the experience extra special
Great food, ambiance and service. Love the live music during Sunday’s brunch.
Great service. Stripped bass was amazing
The views were wonderful but our dinner was only fair. Service was slow.
Great value through Groupon . Food well prepared and generous in portions.
Terrific Cod Dish. The team of servers were outstanding.
Food is always good. We’re never disappointed.
Great experience. I love the atmosphere and the ribs
The food was great and the service was awesome. Great ambiance. A great go-to spot for a dinner date.
We went to the restaurant for a mid week early dinner, so the restaurant was quiet because it was not crowded. The dining area is open, so I do not know what the noise level would be if it was crowded.
The view of the water was very pretty, even on our rainy day. On a spring or summer day, patio seating would be lovely. The adjacent ice skating rink was closed due to a warm spell in the winter.
Our waiter was very attentive, and his suggestions were very well prepared and tasty. I ordered the bass with parmesan risotto. The fish was nicely charred, very good, as were the accompanying vegetables and parmesan risotto. My husband ordered the red fish, which he also enjoyed. The amount of fish in the dishes was slightly small, but not unreasonable. The sides made the dishes reasonable in size. Of the two dishes, we both felt the bass was the winner.
For dessert, I ordered the lemon cake. My husband ordered the brownie sundae. Both were very good, but the brownie sundae was the winner.
There were several interesting options on the menu and with close access to the Kennedy Center (maybe .5 mile?), we will be sure to return.
The manager & server were great- exceptional customer service.
Great location, but run of the mill food. I had the Chesapeake Pot and it was bland with clams so tough, I could not eat them. The Caesar salad was large, but dressing was heavy (very mayo) and lacked flavor. The waiter was very nice.
Very pretty view but the restaurant overall is overrated and over priced. My swordfish was butterflied into 2 thin pieces, then over cooked and dry. Very disappointing. My husband's shrimp were over cooked and rubbery. His carrot cake was like something you would get in a grocery store. My brownie a la mode was just eh; I didn't even finish it and I am a chocolate lover. Service was fairly good. Portions were large. Nice to try on a Groupon, but would not go back. If we had been paying full price we probably would have sent the entrees back for re-cook.
The food and the service were wonderful, but we will probably not go back. The tables were close together and seating felt tight, so we didn't really feel relaxed. The noise level was through the roof, so conversation was extremely difficult. Perhaps it would be less hectic during the week. Too bad; the food really was outstanding.
Hotel recommended we try this place. Nice location if it's warm enough to enjoy the outdoor seating.
Ordered two cocktails, one wasn't even the correct drink. Neither were good nor was the correct drink.
Special crab cocktail dish was pretty good though not sure it was worth $80.
Entreees sounded great on the menu but were lacking in reality. Dessert was a thawed piece of cake.
Overall fine for a family dinner without breaking the bank but nothing memorable.
Great restaurant - the food is terrific and the views over the Potomac and out to the Kennedy Center are romantic. The crab cakes are a true highlight!
Food was exceptionally good. Service was excellent and all around very good restaurant. However, quite pricey.
Great evening with friends. Food was delicious.
Celebrated Valentine's Day and everything was wonderful.
The entire experience was outstanding. Ambience, service and food were stellar. One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Was very memorable.
Food was outstanding.
Great food, the entrees were absolutely wonderful. The waiter was awesome; just an all around grand experience. Can’t wait to go again.
We loved the view and the food and service were outstanding.
Happy Valen times day
The seafood was exceptional. The ambiance was nice for the winter time, as the outside traffic was not crowed, so we were afforded a great view of the lit up Kennedy Center and Rosslyn, Va accross the river.
The experience was outstanding
