We had a great time. I’m a server and have been for many years. I’m tolerant if anything happens but our server was not attentive to our needs, I had to ask so much stuff, and she didn’t apologize or be aware at all. I will come back. Love the food. Hope the service gets better.
The menu was great but the food didn’t taste a great. We had the crab and shrimp dip it was alot of burnt cheese and not very flavorful the steak was very good but the loaded baked was dry and the cheese on top was also burnt. The blackened bass was good would have been even better if the veggies was cooked a little longer and everything was seasoned i had a great tasting bass with hard flavorless sides. Drinks was just ok all in all ok restaurant but probably wouldn’t return.
The restaurant is in a good spot. The view is wonderful. However, the service was crappy. It took about 10 minutes for someone to come over and take our drink orders. The server we had questioned everything we ordered. First issue, we ordered Cesar salads with extra dressing, she said it already comes with a lot of dressing on it. It doesn’t matter we asked for extra dressing! Second issue, I ordered the ribs with a crab cake. I asked for extra BBQ sauce, the server said again, it already has a lot on it which it did not. The French fries and crab cake was disgusting! The wine list is absolutely horrible! I can’t stand dry or semi-sweet wines. I was over it.
Originally seated outside...because it was in the evening it was getting uncomfortably cold...requested the hostess to bring us inside. She said she couldn't. Once it was escalated to manager she complied and was very helpful. Waiter was slow. Ambience could have been better. Im 55 and have been going here for 30 years...when were sneakers and sweats and baseball hats a part of fine dining?
Very good experience. Outdoor seating was very nice.
Best dining experience I’ve had in a while ! First and foremost the shrimp and crab dip ... is AMAZING. It literally made me so happy that I began to cry. Our server Valentin is a sweetheart , very attentive and quick. Every dish that we ordered was superb . For starters we ordered calamari , which was very fresh and perfectly fried the pickled peppers were a great touch. Spicy garlic shrimp , full of flavor and juicy should’ve asked for more bread but it was great. I won’t even speak further on the crab dip , “ to cry for “. Shrimp tacos were also very tasty. Outdoor ambiance is beautiful, would definitely recommend for date night or special occasion. My guest and I will be back very soon. Thank you all for an awesome girls night out !
The best thing about this restaurant is the view when sitting outside on the patio. The Potomac and the Kennedy Center in front and the beautiful Georgetown Waterfront fountain behind. The food is over-priced and mediocre.
Great to see the DC Mayor there..
So cute to sit on the waterfront and oysters were amazing
Food was good. The outside seating was great. The view was great as was the people watching of the people on their boats.
The view is amazing. Looking out at the boats was really good with that great food!!
I had a wonderful time with my friends here. I had the garlic and chili shrimp I’d highly recommended.
Yoli was amazing!!
Great food and view.
Definitely going back soon.
Lovely setting by Potomac with good seafood at a reasonable price.
The waitress was not attentive. Had to ask at least three times before getting water. Not very polite
I had crabcake sandwich which was good. My friend had smoked salmon sandwich which was even better. Lovely ambiance outside by the river. Staff was friendly and conscientious.
Great food overall & nice to be on gtown waterfront. Hostess was initially rude and said she didn’t have our reservation, until another hostess came up and told her that their system was frozen. They then sat us in the very far back corner. Food was otherwise good and service was quick.
good time. Crab cakes were amazing.
Great meal, awesome view on the water. Loved the shrimp and grits.
I was very nice we was celebrating a Birthday. The Waiters & Waitresses was very friendly and polite. We sat outside by the water so the view was Beautiful. And the was delicious. The Shrimp & Crab Dip is one of my favorites . Definitely will visit again soon
Food was ok. Priced a little high then need be. The view and the people watching was great!!!
It was just ok. I thought the food was decent, but had more of a burger bar ambiance.
Absolutely no social distancing. We were very uncomfortable while group of 10 people without masks were hanging out at a table
Great view and a lot of fun.
Service was wonderful.
My wife and I went to the Georgetown Restaurant for restaurant week. We both had the cedar planked salmon and it was great; they gave us enough food for leftovers for lunch the next day. We had a wonderful time and the service was great
The grilled lobster was fantastic. We sat at an outside table along the Georgetown waterfront. Because it was a beautiful evening, the waterfront was crowded and noisy, which took a bit away from the ambience. We felt safe, however, at our outdoor table.
The food menu was not a good selection. I was not pleased with my Salmon. In fact we were thinking about just ordering drinks and leaving.
The drinks were the best part. T
Great food! Loved the water / harbor views. Really energetic. Definitely enjoyed it
I treated my boyfriend for his birthday and I was happy to find this place! This was my first time visiting this restaurant but it was perfect given the pandemic conditions that we are living under. Being able to sit outdoors, enjoy the sights and food was all my boyfriend needed! Our waiter, Humberto, (sincerely apologize on spelling) was very attentive without being too much so. We will go back!
We were in georgetown and needed an outdoor place for lunch. This place by the potomac was perfect. Great view and seat with an umbrella for needed shade in the hot sun. We shared a fantastic crabmeat sandwich and blackened salmon salad.
Location was nice. Out by the water and they did a good job with spacing tables. Food was tasty. A little pricey for what they offered. Charge a 2.95% fee if use a credit card. Hostess station had sign that offered discount if paid with cash but waiter was not aware of it.
Hometown Heroes! Real DC! Loved dining in view of the Potomac River! The crabcake entree was presented on an exquisite bed of glorious vegetables that looked like semi precious jewels! Flavorful and delicious! The oysters were the epitome of "fresh" and "local". Thank you for a wonderful dining celebration!
The Salmon, Clams, Calamari, Halibut, Crabcake, Gaspacho were all excellent.
Food and availability of reservation were great. Ambiance is always lovely on waterfront. Social distancing was effective. Would have been great if they better controlled the direct sun over the tables in use but that's all that made our time a bit uncomfortable.
I was was in DC to catch a flight and decided to stop here for a bite with my cousin. We ordered shrimp and grits, the crabcake burger, and some desserts. The shrimp and grits were okay. I live in the south so I’m used to a more creole zesty taste. The shrimp and grits here were were sweet. They also had snap peas which was kinda weird for me. The crab cake burger was great! Very fresh crab meat. For dessert, we ordered key lime pies and one of my cousins got some type of custard or ice cream. I can’t remember, but both desserts were pretty good. We sat outside by the river and just enjoyed the weather and view. One down down side was for me was that they only served their oysters raw. All things considered, I would come again.
