Great experience our waiter was awesome very good experience overall. Food was good only complaint was wife had extra sauce brought out was just a bit salty. Not a big place but outside sitting is available.

Our first visit here and nearly 15 years. So glad we came. The food was amazing. Even better than we remember! We had the seafood tower, and the small portion was so generous. Oysters were super fresh! Our server, Mia did a wonderful job!

We were there to celebrate my son‘s 25th birthday. We’ve been there numerous times and the food is mostly good. This meal… was fantastic. Shrimp piccata - done just right. Love the presentation the temperature the flavor. The overall experience was incredible. Thank you for making it a great one! JD

Food was amazing i give service a 1 out of 10. Restaurant is not very spacious . Highly recommend food and not the experience of the restaurant.

The service is inconsistent. Easily overwhelmed staff by the smallest of crowds. I ordered a bottle of sparkling water that never came. And chasing down a waiter to get another cocktail was a heavy lift. And the food read better than it tasted. The seafood tower looked great. But most of the seafood was cold and somewhat tasteless. One should be able to taste the difference between crab, shrimp and oyster. Not here. And the tune tartare is a miss. The accompanying crackers were stale. And why the tartare is served with sushi rice is head scratching, to say the least.

Overall good experience. Drinks were fabulous (Berry cocktail is a strong recommendation for anyone who enjoys sweet bevies). Service was a bit slow but likely overwhelmed. Will return.

Tom's Oyster Bar on Main Street in Downtown Royal Oak was wonderful. My wife and I shared our one year wedding anniversary there last night and the food was absolutely incredible. Our waitress Daniel was amazing and she did a great job. I had the Baja Fish Tacos (Atlantic Cod). It was super scrumptious. My wife had a seafood pasta and it tasted too oniony at first but the waitress had the Chefs make it again and it was absolutely perfect the second time around. A lot less garlic and onion and they got it spot on the second time around. We started off with the seafood sampler. It had a panko crab cake that was great. Dynamite shrimp that definitely brought the heat but was so good. And let me tell you about the Oyster's Rockefeller!!!!! THEE MOST AMAZING Oyster's Rockefeller I have ever had! At the end of the night the restaurant made it super special for us because I had made them aware that we were celebrating and they brought out a Roman Candle cheesecake! YUMMMMMM! Thank you Tom's Oyster Bar for a 10 out of 10 night! I give it a 5 star.
